| Due to the current number of religious based symbols being made by the LEGO Group
of companies.
I do believe we should have a rule change in the forum to be able to discuss
ANY LEGO based item that has a religious basis.
As well I do believe we should be able to wish other people well upon any major
religious holiday, like Christmas.
That is my opinion on this matter.

| On a quick note as well.
There are over 400 offending messages since Dec 1st with Christmas in them.
You cannot enforce a rule upon one person while letting others get away with
it.
That is not what this place was built upon.
I know it is a small point, but it has other instances as well in the past where
one member was singled out for bad behavior while another who did the same thing
was excused.
It is a bad precedent to set!

You may post best wishes, but can't discuss the origin of Christmas.

I've been an Atheist for a long time and I can tell you, I am not offended in
the least when I hear Merry Christmas. Nor am I offended when I hear Happy Hanukkah
or anything else.
To me, no one is trying to pick your belief system and greet you for any holidays,
they are simply putting what they celebrate and wishing you the best.
Nor do I hope that I offend anyone if I shorten it to Xmas, as I almost always
do.
I think the sensitivity in greeting people has gone too far, because people aren't
mind readers. Pleasantries shouldn't be a guessing game, guess it right or offend.
However, discussing religion in a Lego Forum- that's not the place. Go into a
private chat if you want that, or go to a religious board where people share
your thoughts.

Really, you need to let this go dude. If you want to discuss bible banning, please
go someplace else. If you would like to wish others well, then have at it. sheesh.
