SUGGESTION; "FORUM SWEAR JAR FOR CHARITY"

Sounds like a fun idea.

If there is no way to block the offending words....like....^#&%#

Then how about a forum swear jar?

.25 fee addition for each word typed.

Can be a fun on with a picture of a jar and money goals.

Then donate to some worthy cause on behalf of the forum posters.

I would gladly swear my butt off if it went to a good cause.

I still think the forum could be setup with a MESSAGE PENDING FOR MOD REVIEW.

I have seen that on other forums while I have been trolling around the internet.

My assumption is that uses some sort of word marker to get the post reviewed
by a MOD before posting to the open forum.

So lets say I type BILOFIX. That word triggers a MESSAGE PENDING FOR MOD REVIEW
on the forum.

Once cleared it would replace that with the message. If it does not pass, then
the dreaded CANCEL MESSAGE marker can come up.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you for all the purchases!

Only $0.25 per word? Paypal fee would eat that up if someone swore just once.
How about $0.25 per letter?

Beside not all users has online payment method and are limited to snail mail
payment only. How would they pay? Admittedly very tiny percentage of those on
BL and maybe none who are regular on the forum.

It'd be good but may be hard to enforce if someone creates a new account to get
around forum lock, drop about $20 worth of F-bomb before getting caught, merged,
and banned. Plus English is not the only language to have swear word and not
everyone is fluent in other language and can honestly state if the mystery word
is a swear word or not.

For example, I type in "baka Wilykat" One would have to know Japanese and are
familiar with romanji (Japanese word using Latin alphabet rather than kanji,
hirogana, or katakana) to know what I said.

Interesting concept, it's the enforcing part that could kill this idea.
