| For each lot on Bricklink, can we have a link to the price guide for the item
that's for sale? This would greatly help the buyer compare prices when making
a purchase instead of having to open a new window and look up the price guide
to see if he's getting a good deal or not.

Won't happen. Theres hundreds of suggestions to do various ways to price compare.

Won't happen. Theres hundreds of suggestions to do various ways to price compare.

why can't we make it easier to access?

Effectively, the suggestion would add hundreds or thousands of links in every
store, the purpose of which would be to lead customers out of the store
to show them where they can buy the product from a competitor.

I've suggested the same a few years ago.
It won't happen, just like any mortar and brickstore wouldn't want a competitors
priceguide hanging in their store.

I've suggested the same a few years ago.
It won't happen, just like any mortar and brickstore wouldn't want a competitors
priceguide hanging in their store.

My local grocery store frequently puts out two baskets of groceries; one with
a sign showing their total price and one with a competitors.
Lots of discount stores show the "compare at" MSRP price. (Not that is actually
what you would pay at competitors either, but it's a reference.)
You can do shopping price comparisons (froogle) of B&M stores online.
Comparison price shopping inside a B&M store is a few clicks of the phone away.
Get with the times Bricklink.

Once you enter the store, they don't want you to be able to compare prices.
That's why I love tabbed windows... because I don't care what they want.
Don't get sucked into a store for one cheap item and get ripped off on the rest!

Is that the same reason that not all parts do have a link to the catalog?
That could lead to the price guide, but I have been using it to get to the sets
that use the specific part. Gave me loads of inspiration and lead to a lot of
impulse-driven extra sales...
