| Occassionally sellers enter the price of a 10 cent item as 10 dollars due to
inadvertant deletion of the decimal point. Please ensure that all prices include
a decimal point.

Don't some writing systems use commas instead of the period for a decimal point?

They certainly do, however given the age of Bricklink's code and limited internationalization,
I strongly suspect that users of those writing systems are forced to use a full
stop for a decimal point rather than a comma.

By occasional you mean 1 out of 10,000 listings, 1 out of 100,000 listings? Please
do not require a decimal point. It is so unfair to require 9999 listers or more
to type the extra digits just because one person every month or so cannot remember
to insert a single decimal point. And why is everyone so sure the price is wrong
when it could be in fact the part number that is wrong-maybe they were listing
a $10 item but inserted the part number from a $.10 part.

You lost me. If those other 9999 are already typing the decimal point, then implementing
this is not going to make them type any more. And if they're not typing the decimal,
then they're part of the group that are listing ten cent parts for ten dollars.

Because it's less likely. But even if that does happen, this suggestion would
not hurt those people either.
