| As a seller, I would like the ability to list certain items in one of my stockrooms
and then invite certain buyers to open that stockroom and browse my offerings.
This would be similar to reserved lots. But instead of reserving one specific
lot for one specific buyer, I would like to reserve up to a few dozen lots to
any of a few dozen invited buyers. For example, I may want to offer special deals
on multiple lots reserved solely for forum readers, or for members of my local
LUG, or for repeat buyers, or for buyers from my own state or a specific country.
Currently, sellers have three stockrooms. The way this would work is that sellers
would have the OPTION of designating ONE of those stockrooms as a place to reserve
lots for a group of individuals who will be given a password to unlock and browse
that stockroom. Kind of like a private showing by invitation only.

Sounds nice, voted yes. I don't know how easy it is to code, so I don't know
if it will ever happen.

Thanks. I came up with this suggestion after thinking how I could reward buyers
who have open orders with me when I come back from my trip and list new items
in my shop. I would like them to have first rights to those new listings for
a day or two rather than making them available to everyone at the same time.
And I don't want to have to close my entire shop while a few buyers browse a
few dozen new lots. My local LUG group could also benefit from this as well.
There are some things several group members might want. So rather than reserving
them for just one person, this would be a nice way to reserve things for a group
of people.

| I agree, this would be useful.

| The easiest way I can think of is -
If you are married you can just start another BL user using your wife's name
and give the store password out to the select buyers.

That's called a duplicate account. Check the ToS. A spouse can have an account,
but only if it is truly theirs and not yours.

| Could be useful, but since I already use all 3 stockrooms extensively, I wouldn't
want to give one up in order to use the feature. If there were to be an additional/special
stockroom or "showroom" for the purpose, that would be ideal.

| Yes, with an extension:
Reseve a stockroom for a given list of users - and then the stock in the stockroom
would show up in searches for those users.
The reservation system should also work for the "Available" stockroom (main store)
- so one can close one's store, except to a select group of users (I'm particularly
thinking of my local LUG, I had a member calling me to complain that my stock
wasn't showing up in his searches - which it wouldn't, my store is shut until
Brickvention).
Effectively I'm asking for "closed to the public, open by invitation" for all
stockrooms, in addition to password-protected (and thus not price-guide searchable)
stockrooms.
