I've downloaded my recieved orders for december and with 2 accepted currencies
it's quite some work to get the orders paid in USD correct: in the download overview
the base grand total is always in the base currency of your store.

I would like to request / suggest to add columns to the export for base grand
total a buyer has to pay based on the currency selected at their order.

So on an order of 10 euro, paid in USD i get the export like it is now, but with
an extra column stated the invoiced grand total in USD's. If i add another currency
as accepted currency to my store, that would result in an extra column yet again.

Any thoughts?

I second this. I just switched my store from $US to $CDN this year, and am realizing
its going to be a headache to correlate paypal payments (which are mostly in
$US) with the $CDN only total that I will have in the received orders download.
Is there a way around this?
