Hello.

Again, I am new to the online portion of this.

This may have already been discussed in the past.

I would like to see the BL system post an automatic email/BL contact to the buyer
AND seller once an order is marked complete.

This email would simply say something like;

"Please post feedback for transaction # XXXXXXX. Feedback helps buyers and sellers
decide whom to purchase from"

This system would be very simple, would increase feedback on both sides, and
would be a nice system for contact without sending followup emails to the buyers
(for we sellers)

Thank you for any other ideas you have on the matter. I am trying to reduce
the amount of work I have to do online, and keeping up with feedback is a huge
hassle from this side. Something simple like that would allow us to cull the
feedbacks in our inbox and assign it to a person to work on.

yes, and again the 'watch what you wish for' line comes to mind.

but due to the amount of feedback never posted, I would think a simple friendly
reminder to post would be a positive thing. I get one from Ebay, and it reminds
me to go on to leave feedback.

And YES, I know, I know, I know this is not Ebay. Just using a comparison.

Trying to get our 'ducks in a row' before 2011! And that is a bit difficult
without some automated help.

I love the new payment system. That used to be a huge hassle for us!

I am a 'pay my bills now' person, others here are 'wait until the last possible
second' people.

Right now I win 50% of the time! I am trying to get that to 100%, and in the
words of Larry the Cable guy;

'get 'er done'

One single automated reminder is not begging. I would not use this feature myself,
but if others wanted to have it as an OPTION I would not mind and see no reason
to deny it to them. So I voted yes to this suggestion, provided the default setting
is NOT to send such reminders. And/or maybe buyers could opt OUT of receiving
such reminders.

I would love this feature!
But what I would also like to see incorporated with that, would be a reminder
that feedback has been left on an order that has not been marked complete. My
store terms state that I will leave feedback once an order is marked complete
and/or feedback is left. There are a certain percentage of buyers who leave feedback
without marking the order complete. If I miss my feedback number changing, it
can be awhile until I catch this and am reminded to leave feedback,

Isn't the drive through email doing just that? Just pimp up the wording et voila!

On the "My Action Items Settings" page all options are checked per default.
So buyers are also automatically reminded to change status and leave fb.

On the MyBrickLink page - click my settings then "my action items settings"
- make sure the reminders for feedback when order completed is there -- I never
miss leaving feedback for a completed order -- it's in my face constantly.

Although this is a noble idea, I vote no. Feedback systems are completely voluntary.
Buyers should not be prodded to leave feedback if they don't want to.

what the problem is;

1.) Some buyers do not want to be bothered! So if you email them they get ticked.
2.) Others just forgot! And they like the prod.
3.) Yet others just hate your guts and do not want to bother with leaving a negative
feedback like; I HATE YOU, YOU SUCK, thanks for the good stuff!
