I like the little notation on MyBrickLink that tells me that I have x number
of stores with Items in my cart --

Could we also see how many customers in MY store have items in their cart? Obviously
without being able to link to them and see WHO was in the store... but just knowing
how many people are checking this out would be nice.

Yes, could be useful if you wanted to make some changes to store terms.. i.e
wait until there is nobody shopping before making the changes.

I agree that that would be cool. In order to implement it, though, I think that
it would take a much different approach programming-wise. I think that the current
system stores the data on the client-side (your own computer knows what stores
you have shopping carts in) while the new suggestion would need to store the
data server-side (BrickLink itself would need to know all the users who have
shopping carts in your store).

I'm not saying that it's not feasible, just that the suggestion is not quite
as similar to the current feature as it might at first seem.

(Another big difference is how the data would be displayed -- how do you envision
seeing this shopping cart data?)

I see. I thought you meant that you would see what the items were.

And, as with buyers, in the form:
lots (items) $total
