| Hello,
in my opinion it would be a good "behavior" of BL, when a new order is created
in the case the buyer has PAID for the an "open" order. This should be the case
when:
- either the buyer has marked an order as "paid"
- or the seller has marked an order with "payment received"
I find it is not a good idea, to add items to an order, which already is PAID!
This behavior would be good for both buyers and sellers, I think.
The only way today to get a new order, when there is another (not shipped) order,
is to set status to "packed". But this requires, that the buyer has TO CONTACT
the seller to let him change order status. But this is not satisfying me, since:
- mails are often not read at once, so items may be already sold before status
is changed by the seller.
- the order is not really, i.e. physically "packed", which does prevent some
seller to set status to "packed" before it is really packed.
Since it is easy for BL to change this behavior, this feature will depend on
the opion of the BL users, I think.
Kind regards,
André

As far as I am aware it is no longer possible to add to an order once it is marked
as paid
I seem to remember that this option was added after a similar suggestion was
made some months ago

The system is already halfway there. If the seller marks the order paid then
any additions will go to a new order.
The buyer marking an order paid does not change the status of the order (nor
should it) so this would not cause a new order.
