Hello friends,

My shop has been offline for over 2 months now, due to 2 accidents. I'm out
of the hospital now, and more or less recovered, better....

Simply put: I need lots of orders now, to catch up with the income I missed.

From this moment on, until March 15, I offer free shipment, as follows:

Netherlands: for orders of Eur 50,00 or more
Europe: for orders of Eur 150,00 or more
World: for orders of Eur 250,00 or more

If your order applies for free shipment: DO NOT USE 'Instand payment'
but choose the shipment option 'Special'. That way I can send you a correct
Invoice, with all payment options mentioned.

For this action I have uploaded an extra bunch of Sets, also quite rare ones.
And more to come these days.
Feel free to combine Sets and Parts, no problem.

Looking forward to many orders, yeah!

Klaas

I wrote him again that also for Switzerland he has to pay taxes, now hi gave
mi another new adress from Italy. It isn't strange? What I should do? Thanks

If it's paid with PayPal: send to the PayPal address, no exeption for a Newbee!
And use a proper track&trace ofcourse.

Extra border-taxes are not your problem, stop mentioning that. A costumer should
know that when ordering.

Good luck,

The Title and Picture says it all.

This brand new Dish suffered from displacement when printed.

Are there any diehard collectors here for this kind of mistakes? Or do you know
anyone, not reading this topic?

If there is any interest, I'll put it in my Store.

Kind regards,
Klaas

I'm trying to mass update the remark category for many things in my inventory.
I downloaded them to brickstore, made the remark update, and then tried to upload
via mass update. I keep getting an internal error. So then I tried to upload
the same thing via mass item upload just to see what would happen. This seems
to be working fine, but I deliberately did not complete this process in order
to avoid doubling the quantities.

Looking for help regarding this issue from folks that have experience with mass
update.

Step 1: when you have your BrickStore file at hand, give every Part the amount
-1
Upload them as usual
One remark: if you have 0 (zero) parts online in BrickLink, uploading -1 will
result in deleting the part from the BL database.

Step 2: make the changes in BrickStore, and upload every part +1
('new' everything)

Simple...
Tip: Uploading batches of about 600 different lines works fine, way more will
terribly slow down the proces (at BrickLink side).

Good luck!

I really have to free some space in my Warehouse....The first 75.000 parts are
on Sale, many more will follow this weekend.

Mostly StarWars related parts (LBG, DGB and Black) for now, incl. necessary Technic
Bricks for large MOC's.

You are welcome to keep your order 'open' for a few days, so you can
keep checking the new batches which go on SALE. About 150.000 more parts I estimate,
or more....
Coming Monday then Invoice and shipment.

Happy cheap shopping!

My recent elements have no such issue.

Recent bricks have the injection point on top of a stud.
Really old bricks were injected on a side.

Are print templates created in Ntickstock supported in the new Brickstore?

...within 5 min. you make a (or many) new one, very simple:

- BS prints the layout you see on your screen

Step 1] modify the screen layout to meet your print-layout needs
- you can use Selections and whatever in that layout

Step 2] save that layout under the tab 'View' with a nice name
- you can add numerous layouts of your own

Step 3] whatever file you open, go to View, apply a custom print-layout, and
voilá
- what you see is what you get

Step 4] print it

Hi all,

I am this other seller. Last Wednesday I read the original posting of 3eyeballs.
100% the same annoying complaints about brand new Lego parts. Grrr.
It was a nice large order, with many different lots, thousends of parts. We found
1 mistake, a missing Minifigure, which we immediately refunded for 150% value,
including a big 'Sorry'.

One of the (many!!) complaints to me was: "The trans clear basepates (16x16)
are used".
These were new of course, but have been stored about 15 years over here, I found
them in a hidden box. I told him that.
Reply from customer: "If these plates have been stored so long, in a box containing
other parts too (also New btw) the plates are used". "I want full refund for
these".
Really!??
Nah, I don't think so.

Amd so on...

My last reply was: 'Please send all the parts you are not happy with back
to me, and I will refund these. I pay for shipment of course, I'll send the
refund after checking the content'

....silence since then (2 days ago)

Oh well, 1 out of 1000 orders is an annoying experience. Which means that 999
times the order was closed with a smile.
I go for the smiles!!

Today we finished parting out a few large sets (over 550 lots in each) and discovered
a problem with Brickstock. When we went to start our pricing process (Too long
winded to go through here) Brickstock would only update about 500 of the 556
lots, no matter what we did.

We then found we could manually run the update to price guide command against
those individual items and it brought in the price. So we experimented and found
that over 500 lots doesn't work in a single update, but if you split it into
2 halves it works fine.

I have sent a message to the author and asked him to look at this, but at least
there is a workaround.

Lego keep increasing the size of sets so this isn't going to go away.

Only 1 answer: change asap to the new BrickStore. All functions not correct integrated
or not present in Brickstock, are there in BrickStore.
You do not have to 'check it out', just switch, and be happy again.

  Hello all,

I have a couple of questions on Brickstock which someone might know the answer
to.

My store uses EURO and in Brickstock I have ticked Currency, Use the local currency
$1 = €1.

I have changed my asking price in Brickstock to the Last 6 months sales (average).

Question 1: Is my setting local currency $1 = €1 correct? I am not trying to
convert my store currency as it is in Euro now and I wish it remains so.

Question 2: Is the revalued asking price the Last 6 month sales average in Euro?
I read other forum posts that stated that BrickStock only uses sales data in
USD to compute its averages.

Question 3: if indeed the above is correct (in relation to USD and sales data)
is there any means to determine the actual average 6 month Sales data for the
World or European market?

Thanks for any help with either of these queries.

The prices you see in BrickScout are in Dollars.
So, if you let BS set your prices to the Average, you see (with 1 = 1) Dollar
prices.

In BS under "edit"-"price"-"incr or decr" you have to lower your prices with
about 10% to come to the Euro prices, as shown in BrickLink.

....but it´s never as accurate as you would like it to be, the DollarEuro
exchange rate is fluctuating all the time.

In Suggestions, QCBricks writes:
  In Suggestions, SimplyBricks writes:
Hazel and I were discussing things we'd like to see changed for BL2 and inventories
and I've already submitted this suggestion privately, but I'd like to
gauge the opinions of the inventory submitters on it.

When LEGO bring out new themes and sets, there are very often a lot of new parts
and figs that go along with it. At the moment the inventory submitters adds
the new parts to the catalog and then completes the inventory and should make
a note of all the missing pieces pending approval in the catalog in the notes
section.

However, completing the inventory then relies on the manual process of the submitter
or the IA keeping an eye out for when those parts are approved and then completing
the inventory.

I propose the following:
When new parts are pending approval into the catalog they CAN be included in
the inventory, but the system recognises them as not approved and consequently
disables the function to approve the inventory. The inventory can be updated
still by the submitter or IA but until all of the parts are approved (or the
non-approved ones deleted from the inventory); the inventory can not be approved.

To go with this where will also be a count of how many pending approval parts
there are for a particular inventory which will update when a part is approved.

If a part in the inventory is then rejected from the catalog a message to the
IA and submitter is auto generated by the system so that we can follow up on
it.

I have also requested that a flag be added to inventory submissions form to show
whether the inventory is complete or incomplete and if incomplete then the submitter
MUST add information to the notes field detailing why it is incomplete and if
they are still working on it.

Incomplete entries will automatically be disabled from being approved until flagged
as complete.

Inventories with items pending approval into the catalog will automatically be
flagged as incomplete.

Looking at my list of pending approval inventories, the sets with items pending
approval for the catalog appear to be the biggest reason for being not approved
so I think if we can have these new features this will help us all a bit.

Emma

Seems reasonable given the large amount of new molds. If 500 new molds are being
released a year, it is tough to allow all of that to jam up the inventory submission
process.

I think that another important component is that some of this is going to need
to be crowdsourced. As it stands now some of the inventories and part approvals
sit waiting for the submitter to make changes and updates or to add photos, but
there is no real reason that everyone shouldn't be able to chip in if possible.
I understand the "credit" issue, but BL may have to move away from that system
(or allow for dual/partial credit).

IA's would still make final approvals, but allow the community to get the
items and inventories to that point.

Scott

I agree very much with both of you. Emma and I discussed this already in person.
The credit issue should not be an ´issue´ at all:
This whole fantastic Database is a community thing, created by ´us´ for everyone.
Having personal ´credits´ has nothing to do with ´community´...
For me personally it´s quite simple: I am a parts seller, and if I have an early
copy (well, many...) of a set, I want to sell the parts a.s.a.p.
That means I put some time and effort in it to get the new parts inventoried
and pictured as fast as possible.
Credit for that work? Who cares? The pics and parts must be visible and known
because I want to sell them!
So, at the bottom line I inventory sets for ´myself´ first, which benefits the
community too.... be all honest and think about that....

I already do that, for all my prices. It does not help you.

Practical problem:
I have a VAT enabled shop.
If anybody ´non EU´ enters my shop, he/she looks at prices without VAT. Dutch
VAT is 19%, and a 2 digit price minus VAT is often a 3 or more digit price.

My 2 cents
(minus VAT) = my 1.6806722 cents
