| Thanks for the thoughts and questions.
There weren't any additional orders pending at the time. I did end up confirming
that all lots were adjusted by exactly 3x what they should have been adjusted
by.
I submitted a ticket with technical support as well, but no reply from them.
Other orders have come in since, but they were not affected by this issue.

| I had an order this afternoon and 3 of 10 items showed a negative quantity remaining.
All of the three shared this general pattern:
We had X parts for sale.
Buyer purchased X parts.
Stock remaining was listed as -2X. (And put in stockroom).
I then checked another lot.
We previously had 82 parts for sale.
Buyer purchased 22 parts.
Lot showed 16 parts remaining.
It subtracted the triple the number of parts actually sold on all of these lots.
There are 6 more lots in the order that I have yet to check, but some of them
have remaining quantities in the thousands, so I am loathe to count them all
up.
Has anyone else had this problem?
What factors contribute if anything is known?
Thanks for any input.

Do you have 2 orders in progress? Sometimes when the payment didn't go through,
the parts could show unavailable for a while, 10 minutes.

I had this issue previously, and support helped me change the custom message
so that it didn't run into this issue. It was a matter of adding some additional
tags that the newer system required.
Turns out that reverting to the default DID address the problem, so it looks
like another iteration of the same basic issue. I had sort of skipped this idea
in my own troubleshooting, because I trusted the solution support gave the first
time.
Much appreciation for your help.

Hello Pete,
It might be that you were helped for the TAX things in the US and now are getting
the error because of the VAT things.
But that should imply that you are selling to an EU buyer, and that is just guessing
from my side
Glad it helped you out.
|
Both times I went through it was US buyers and thus not VAT. But I'm just
recording that in case anyone else happens on this record. All is well now that
I've reverted to the default message.
Thanks again.

Free shipping!
First of all, I do not recommend using the courier API. I have had a bad experience
with it as indicated in this forum post of mine from a year ago:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1193431
Second, was the order instant checkout or manual invoice? If it was manual invoice,
then there would obviously be no shipping charge.
Just some thoughts. Other than that, I really have no idea.
|
This went through the instant checkout.
While I have done local pickup (no shipping) in the past for some orders, it's
not a shipping option you can select in my checkout.
This is actually the first issue I've had with the courier API in thousands
of orders, so I'm really unsure what's happened here.

| I received an order tonight with a shipping address in another country.
I've never had a problem with an international order before, but this order
came through with zero shipping charge.
Is there a known reason why this order went through the checkout without adding
the shipping charge as it normally does?
