3878 Minifigure, Headgear Hat, Top Hat
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear
I have 4 of these in Black that came from New Sets. None of these have a LEGO
logo and I don't recall ever seeing these with a logo. The ones I have now
and in the past just have a number. There are many pieces that aren't marked
LEGO. This is one of them.

Part No: 3062b Name: Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud

Most fakes have no markings. It is the quality of the plastic. There is nothing
in your pictures that show these would be fake especially if these are New pieces
but even if they were Used these aren't fakes. Sometimes the pieces just
don't have the logo.

The available Lego "Vehicle Base" sizes ( https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=1&q=vehicle+base&catLike=W&itemBrand=1000)
are not large enough for something that large. You could consider the variants
of the 6584 Train Base (shown in the middle of https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=2&q=train+base&catLike=W&itemBrand=1000
). Probably your best solution is to use Technic Beams ( https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=technic%20brick
) to form a long frame.

No you were not mistaken in the choice of seller. You could have received these
parts from any seller on Bricklink. The Bricklink catalog does not have a different
entry for minor variations like this. (I know you think it is an important variation,
but for most of us it is not)

You could have bought these parts from the LEGO company itself and received exactly
what you received from this Bricklink seller. LEGO does not care whether the
parts have these marking or not. (I know you think it is an important variation,
but the company that manufactured them does not)

In fact you could open a fresh new LEGO set sealed from the factory and find
that it contains different variations within the same box!

You didn't make a mistake at all. You just didn't know that LEGO made
different versions of the same part. Now that you are aware of this, the next
time you order you can ask the seller in advance which variation they have and
make sure it is the one you want.

okay. please tell me what markings can be on lego chinese details? can they put
a figure? or what? just to understand me

Is it ok. Can an analog part have a marking of numbers? so as not to be confused
with the original details

BrickLink sellers are not allowed to sell fake LEGO items, and I would expect
a seller with the kind of feedback this one has to be very much on the up-and-up.
You are a very new buyer and possibly do not know the history of LEGO parts,
but accusing a seasoned seller of selling fake LEGO on BrickLink is not something
that people take lightly.

For your information if you do not know, many parts that LEGO has made for a

include adding the LEGO logo, a copyright symbol, mold position numbers, and/or
a Design ID over time.

I can tell you with 100% accuracy that the older gun mold had no markings whatsoever.
No logo, no copyright symbol, no mold position numbers, and no Design ID. So
how do I know they are real LEGO parts? Well, many of us have been around a long
enough time to easily know the difference.

I don't want to go dig my older top hats out, but I believe they just had
a single mold number in them and nothing else. I wouldn't be surprised if
the older sports helmets had the same exact thing.

Post your images if you must, but please be aware that there is a high probability
that you are in the wrong.

- Randy

As if I was not particularly interested in the old or the new set. Wanted with
a Lego label as I previously bought from another seller

Given from where you are I understand why you have suspicions. And you are right
- you should always be aware of fake LEGO.

However, as others have told you, older parts sometimes do not come with LEGO
markings on them. I have taken some even out of relatively recent sets myself
and I can guarantee you that they are 100% genuine. Some of those parts even
come from sets that are not available in shops and are made by LEGO for educational
purposes.

You can feel very safe in buying from BrickLink sellers. There are bad apples
everywhere and there are dishonest sellers, but definitely not in this case,
I am sure.

If you want a 100% proof I can even send you a sealed bag that came straight
from the factory that has one part inside (a minifigure hair) that does not have
LEGO marking on it. All other 40 or 50 parts in that bag do have the LEGO markings.

You are accusing seller of wrong things. You should reconsider your position.

You ordered parts without saying you need a specific version. The seller sent
parts you ordered. You can't then complain that he should have sent these
specific versions.

From what I see in your explanations you should NOT have started an NSS. Seller
sold you genuine Lego parts, not fakes.

in every situation, I think you need to understand that to find out the truth

  Hello,

I come here asking for help please.
For the first time I have problems with a member who brings false accusations
and refuses to listen to me.

The member received his order and told me 3 items don't show Lego brand.
I gave him some explanations and ask Bricklink to confirm us. I asked him to
wait for Bricklink to respond. But after few days he posted a negative feedback
telling I sell false Lego + a non-shipping buyer alert.

I am a big fan of Lego and I would never sell false Lego. I explain many times
but he refuses to listen.

If you check my feedbacks : I never had any complaint in 370 orders since many
years (100% until today

The 3 items he received that don't show the Lego brand are :
Part 3878 : I check on others I have in my collection and I can't see no
brand
Part 46303 : I check on others I have left and I can't see no brand too
Part 30132 : I don't have anymore so I can't check, but there are no
Lego brand on Bricklink pictures : https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30132#T=C

I explained this all things many times to the member but he does not seem to
want to listen to my arguments.
Can you please help me because it makes me feel very inconfortable being treated
"unscrupulous seller" and having a feedback telling people I send false Lego...

Thank you so so much.

Regards,
Stéphanie

I can confirm that the 3878 and 30132 I have don't have LEGO logos on. I
don't have a 46303 to hand.

I have dark azure, red, lime and light bluish gray 46303 without any LEGO markings.

If you want modern parts that all have LEGO logos on them, then you need to specify

mind and know that you only want modern parts? As far as I can ascertain, your
complaint is baseless and the seller delivered what you ordered. And I believe

You need to understand that Lego has produced many parts that do NOT show the
Lego logo, and yes, some parts they produced with logo as well as without logo.
If you don't want to believe that, you will be disappointed again and again,
and you will accuse sellers falsely from supplying non-Lego parts.
