In truth the whole quote process in general is broken and unfit for purpose:-
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1460675
I really wish Bricklink would adopt a simple system where only instant checkout
orders are FIXED orders, anything else is regarded as a quote. The seller manually
invoices the buyer and the buyer has 24 hours to pay after receiving that invoice
else inventory auto returns to stock. There should be no obligation for a buyer
to buy under these circumstances and therefore no longer any reason to need to
issue NPB's

| I have a black one with just a 5 in it. Probably a marking of the position on
the sprue during manufacting. The quality looks to LEGO standards. No sharp edges
or fleshing. i have no doubt that it is legit.

| Hi,
is there a list of Lego pieces known to have no Lego logo?
I have a Emperor Palpatine minifig (sw0634), all pieces are marked with the Lego
logo except the headgear (30381 - black).
I read somewhere that Lego did not include the logo on all pieces until 2013,
and since the specific piece appeared in 1999 I guess it could be original, even
if the figure itself came out in 2015.
I cannot say for sure that all pieces came from the same set, so my question
if is the hood still can be an original Lego piece - or is fake?

| I'm stumped. I did everything according to the help page but buyers can't
request a quote. Had a buyer trying to get a quote for the Ford Mustang but
they were only able to order it and force a requested invoice. ???
Anyone know what's going on can follow up here or the other thread I started
a few hours ago.

Which set was it, and which parts were missing? As not all sets have to have
all the parts in the inventory to be considered complete when used.

I have bought some lego parts, but i believe they might be fake.
The bricks do have 'lego' written on the top of the studs, but on the
back side of the brick there are no 4 or 5 digit part number. Anyone can tell,
if these are real lego (maybe older parts only had the logo)?

Though fake Lego usually doesn’t have logos, pictures would be great

Honestly... I completely forgot about it.
I set up everything for automated checkout. When I started getting in to larger
and larger sets I didn't think anything of it because on my end there was
no disruption since people would just order and then wait for invoicing. I'll
put that on my to-do list for this weekend.
|
Alright, I set up a method for quotes. I used the largest standard box I have
access to (27x20x10) and put in 57 inches for the max total dims. Then I put
the last known weight (18 pounds) and rate ($25 UPS, to a location about 500
miles away but then added $15 to get it to at least Colorado) I used for that
box and the S&H charges and clicked the button for "allow quote request".
That should work right? I'll go back through in a minute to add a few weight
bands because obviously not every set is that large and heavy.

Add some pictures for us to look at. No way for us to be sure otherwise.

| hai già fatto questi 2 checks?
1) aprire https://www.bricklink.com/pref_general.asp?rD=Y

Only if the sets were New & Sealed.
Otherwise, especially if the sets were Used, it’s the sole responsibility of
the seller.

It's not uncommon to have missing parts from a factory sealed set... It's
not common either but it has happened twice to me with (missing 5
of the slopes on the turret). And
(missing some of the long pieces that go
in the rafters of the dining hall).
If it's a new or relatively recent set, you can try reaching out to LEGO
to see if they'll send you the pieces, but you'll still need to figure
out how to deal with the store.
