About two weeks ago, I added a correction sheet instructions image for set 8420.
That change is still pending. Are you waiting for me to do something?

Working with sets

Set No: 8144 Name: Ferrari 248 F1 Team (Schumacher Edition)
*
8144-1 (Inv) Ferrari 248 F1 Team (Schumacher Edition)
692 Parts, 8 Minifigs, 2007
Sets: Racers: Ferrari
and

Set No: 8654 Name: Scuderia Ferrari Truck
*
8654-1 (Inv) Scuderia Ferrari Truck
794 Parts, 6 Minifigs, 2005
Sets: Racers: Ferrari
, I have noticed that there are at
least two versions of the Ferrari logo stickers to be put on part

Part No: 50373pb01 Name: Wedge 3 x 4 with Stud Notches with Ferrari Logo Pattern on Both Sides (Stickers)
*
50373pb01 Wedge 3 x 4 with Stud Notches with Ferrari Logo Pattern on Both Sides (Stickers)
Parts: Wedge, Decorated
Marked for Deletion

Stickers from set 8144 er wider and has a larger Ferrari logo than the stickers
from set 8654.

I don't have the time to dig into this issue (the stickered parts are in
more sets that I don't own), but I hope someone will take on the job. I've
attached photos of the two different parts I've found and references to the
sticker sheets (black square highlights the relevant stickers).

Hi

Yesterday, I uploaded a scan of an overview sheet that come with 7237 sets. This
was accepted. Should the number of instruction booklets be changed to 8, or could
a note be added so it's more visible that this extra sheet exists?

Some time ago, I added a picture for part

Part No: 2214 Name: Duplo Fence Railing with 5 Posts
*
2214 Duplo Fence Railing with 5 Posts
Parts: Duplo
, medium orange. It's hard
to tell the exact color on the image, but I've now found out that the part
I took a photo of is in fact Bright Light Orange. Can the image be switched to
that color or must it be deleted and uploaded again?

The note on parts

Part No: 4515pb034L Name: Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Left (Sticker) - Set 7676

*
4515pb034R Slope 10 6 x 8 with SW Republic Attack Gunship Pattern Right (Sticker) - Set 7676
Parts: Slope, Decorated
state that

"This slope and the slope for the opposite side have been shown on either side
of the craft depending on whether one views the box art or the instructions;
therefore the "right" and "left" designation may be considered arbitrary."

This is not correct. The difference between the instructions and the box is not
only that the slopes are switched around, the stickers are also upside down when
comparing the box to the instructions. So left/right is not interchangable. It
actually means that there ought to be four counterparts for these stickers. Two
for each sticker - one for each orientation of the stickers.

Could someone at least fix the note?

Hi

Could a note be made on set 7671? At least two versions of the instructions exist
- one on lego.com and one on brickinstructions.com, and the latter (shown in
the left side of the attached picture) shows a wrong build. The cone won't
fit in this case.

The inside wheel holders can be either black or red, both for the black and white
version of this brick: Could a note be added, or should this part be split into
two?

in a Nordic (Danish/Swedish/Norwegian) version. The instructions
weigh 87 grams for this set (plus a 3 gram piece of paper showing instructions

the weight of another version of the instructions. Please add a note that the

Please rename the following flags and add notes so they correspond to this American
flag:

The flags come in sets with two stickers for each flag, and it's my experience
that customers expect stickers on both sides which the current part neither dictate
nor explain about in notes.

*

shows that the sticker is placed
in the center of the brick. I don't agree that this is right. The instructions
show on page 20 that the one sticker is offset to the left so that the walkie
talkie doesn't cover it. The opposite side is not shown, but there's
also a tool on that side (an axe), so in my opinion, the sticker there should
be offset to the right. That means that there are actually two variations of
this brick, one for each side of the model. Do the catalog administrators greenlight
that I create two new parts for this or should I not?

Hi

Please add notes for these four minifigs

cty252
cty254
cty255
cty256

that they also come with 'c' (stud recessed) style heads, just like it
does for e.g. col122 (there's a note in both the minifig info and in the
inventory). The 'c' heads came in my advent calendar, but the rest of
the minifigs from that set had 'b' style heads just like their inventories
say.

Hello

I recently added part

Part No: crssprt01pb67 Name: Brick 1 x 8 without Bottom Tubes with Cross Side Supports with Red 'KOBMAND' and 2 Arrows Pattern (KØBMAND)
*
crssprt01pb67 Brick 1 x 8 without Bottom Tubes with Cross Side Supports with Red 'KOBMAND' and 2 Arrows Pattern (KØBMAND)
Parts: Brick, Decorated

to the catalog because it was missing. Now I see that part

[P=3008pb077]

exists in the catalog. I am convinced that this part is actually the "cross supports"
version identical to the one I added (the 3008pb077 image also suggests it, I
suspect that bottom tubes would be visible due to the warping of the brick) and
that the one with bottom tubes doesn't exist. None of the other "Købmand"
printed parts exist with bottom tubes, and none of the parts listed for sale
under 3008pb077 actually have bottom tubes (I have asked the sellers).

I therefore suggest that part 3008pb077 is marked for deletion.

Part 3002pb28 has the wrong stickers applied, so this part should not exist.
Please mark it for deletion.

Hello

Could someone please look into the twn052 minifigure included in

with brown eyebrows but it seems to me that the minifigure image shows that it

So which is correct: The image or the inventory?

Hello everyone

I'm very confused about the "Door 1x3x4" parts. According to BL, they exist
in two variants: the old 445/446 "closed" style and newer 58380/58381 "open"
style. Instead of a general discussion below, I'll stick to discussing the
white version because that's the one that's the source of my current
confusion.

BrickLink states that the old versions were used in 1971-1976 sets and that the
new versions were used in sets from 2006 until today.

I just bough a used set

Set No: 7890  Name: Ambulance
*
7890-1 (Inv) Ambulance
114 Parts, 1 Minifig, 2006
Sets: Town: City: Hospital
and it had the old style doors. The set
was included in a very small private collection of sets - everything else was
Bionicle and Technic sets, and all sets were post-2000. There is no chance that
these doors were magically swapped with 70's versions in that collection,
and the doors were shiny as new, something 70's bricks most likely wouldn't
be.

So first of all, I claim that the old style doors were used in later sets, specifically
this set from 2011. Peeron agrees with me, and I have viewed all reviews on YouTube
that I could find - over half of them show the set with old style doors:

https://youtu.be/c3gYu6z42EI?t=1m23s
https://youtu.be/M3cnptvQeL8?t=18s
https://youtu.be/-D4yj8O5I-E?t=34s
https://youtu.be/A35psVpsY9w?t=9s
https://youtu.be/FDPWGm0dDS0?t=2m39s
https://youtu.be/LSqDzn4Ezes?t=1m53s
https://youtu.be/EQnbwYMnBgY?t=1m2s

Also, the second and third image in the gallery on this page show the old style
doors:

http://www.ibrickcity.com/lego-7890-ambulance/

Also, in the BL inventory logs, I can see that the old style doors were in the
inventory when it was created. The newer style doors were added as alternates
in 2008, and in 2015, the old style doors were deleted from the inventory. I
can't read the reason for these changes anywhere.

So where do I go from here? Will you accept an inventory request adding the old
doors as alternates again?

Also, I have found a third variant of these doors in my collection. I don't
know which set they come from because those doors were bought in a box of mixed
60's-70's bricks. The picture below shows the two different styles. All
doors are the "closed" version. The left door has been taken from my set 384
(year 1976), the right door from my 7890 set (year 2011). From what I can see,
they're completely identical. The middle door is different. There is no hole
by the handle, and the handle is longer and shaped differently.

Any thoughts on this? Is the middle door missing from the inventory or not considered
an official variant? If not, a note and a picture could be added on the old style
doors mentioning the difference in the mold.

/Jan

*
970c00pb078 Hips and Legs with White Western Indians Fringe and Red and Blue Diamonds Pattern

says that it contains (red and blue) triangles. There are no triangles on this
pattern, only rhombuses (a quadrilateral). I don't know if "rhombus" is a
word that BrickLink allows to be used in names, but something better than "triangle"
should be picked. It's very confusing.
