Hi Stuart

Same as all other 3005's in 1983.

Comments from Submitter:
Sticker with black letter "JL 4201" on white 1x2 tile. It shows that it is part of the sticker group but not listed as a counterpart.

This request will be rejected.

You cannot add a plain part to the Counterparts section of an inventory in place
of a stickered part that is currently missing from the BrickLink catalog.

The correct procedure to follow is:

(1) Add the stickered part to the BrickLink catalog:
https://www.bricklink.com/wantedCatalog.asp?catType=P

Help on adding an item to the BrickLink catalog:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=71

(2) Add an image to the BrickLink catalog for the stickered part:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogImageAdd.page?itemType=P

Help on adding an image to the BrickLink catalog:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=87

(3) Fill out an Inventory Change Request to add the stickered part to the inventory
after it is approved by the Catalog Administrators.

Cheers,
Paul

  Hello everyone,

I'm very pleased to announce that we have appointed a new Inventories Administrator,
to fill in the place that Marek left when he was promoted to Catalog Associate.

For this position we have selected member Paulvdb (Paul), whom many of you may
know as a catalog contributor, inventories contributor, and Forum participant.
He is also an established seller (since 2011, I believe) so many of you may know
him also through that channel.

Paul has distinguished himself especially by his work with older inventories,
sharing many sealed set contents data with the site for some of our precious
old vintage sets. We have found his contributions to be ultra reliable and think
he is going to do very well in this new role.

Congratulations are in order!

Russell

A good choice

Congrats Paul!!

Hi Stuart

Great find!

Do you have the other small boxes? They were probably for the rubber belt? (red
/ white / yellow)
If yes, you can let the numbers know (or better still take a picture).

boekje )

Je kan ze wel vinden op Peeron

http://www.peeron.com/scans/6614-1/

Er zijn tal van andere website die hetzelfde aanbieden.
Je moet maar eens naar Brickset gaan (laat het ons houden op het boekje dat je
zoekt)
https://brickset.com/sets/6614-1/Launch-Evac-1

Even naar beneden scrollen en klikken op 'instructions'.
Eerst komt je de website van Lego tegen (dit boekje heeft daar ooit gestaan)
Daar onder zie je dan nog een 5-tal andere websites die het online hebben staan.

groeten

I can't tell. They were found in used bricks I bought. According to BrickLink:
1984-2018 (timeline of 4624 wheel).

Hi

Yes they are factory pre-assembled wheels.

The first ones that came out were glued or pressed together.
Same for the 3464c02 and 4624c01 and 4624c02.
(from 1984-85 till I think begin 90s)
Also same for the first 6015 type with the 6014a.

The rubber is also harder, the assembles are softer in rubber.

Stefaan

Were these only glued in certain regions? This time frame was the heyday of my
LEGO collecting as a child, but I can't ever recall seeing glued wheels (and
I took *everything* apart). I only ever bought sets from the US though.

Do you happen to recall any specific sets that would have had glued wheels? I
have a ton of sealed sets from this era and would like to try and see if any
of them might be glued.

Josh

Hi

They came assembled, that's for sure.
As I wrote: 'glued or pressed'

I had a lot 6015+6014a and I took them apart and there was a residue of glue
on them.
(6015+6014a begin 90s)

For the small wheel and tyre, when it's a harder plastic you can't remove
them.
Start begin half 80s when this new type wheel came out.

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4624c02&in=S
(some inv. are not correct and the wheel ass. don't pop-up in the list)

You can see them here: https://www.laposte.fr/timbre-la-grande-aventure-lego-2

I was wondering if other postal services were doing something similar. Anyone?

Hi

In Belgium we have this as service for about 20 years.
Create your own stamp, it's a lot more as the normal tarif, then you receive
them as real stamp and can use them.
