The red 2x4 brick is, not sure why you're asking about that one.

It can hardly stick to other bricks, what about the flag or the trans-clear thing?

Let me guess…there is ‘pat pend’ on the bottom.
These bricks can look beautiful on the outside but hardly have clutch power.
So it is the real thing but an older kind of selfbinding bricks that aren’t binding
well.

It is a strange way of dealing with a returned order.

The seller did the right thing in getting the order returned and in refunding.
All according to EU regulations but, in all fairness, they are only for business
to customers.

In my opinion when you are selling on Bricklink you should act like a business
due to the fact a buyer cannot know if you are a professional or not. Therefore
this seller did the right thing up to a certain level.

Starting an NPB shouldn’t have been done by the seller and is most likely not
the way to do.
Maybe the seller wanted to avoid non positive feedback (that you seem to give
quite easily)?

The EU regulations go no further than protection of the buyer and the possibility
of returning goods without mentioning a reason. It does not protect a buyer from
receiving an NPB, being stoplisted by whoever the seller in person or whatever
the company is.

its generally agreed that no knockoff has lego logos. if it has the logo its
most likely real. unless there was a very recent development that I'm unaware
of?

Lepin was well known for having the Lego stamped studs...its been a few years
but there was a huge statement about this up on a certain auction site about
the counterfeits having the lego print on certain parts. The HP Castle and their
knock-off of the Executor were two prominent offenders. Often they were even
being listed in "Lego" box art.

I never saw Lupin or any other brand that produces Lego like material using
the Lego logo.
So, in my opinion if it has Lego in or on the studs it truly is Lego. I have
no doubts about this part from looking at the picture.

I think the most important things is provenance.
If there is no provenance anyone could have signed a torso.
Forgery is a well known thing.

Therefore I am always asking myself what it is someone like you wants.
Do you have a signed minifig and do you want to sell it or keep it as an investment
or do you want such a minifig to buy?
In these cases I think it should be clear what the real reason is.

In my opinion a signed minifig is as rare as a hen’s tooth, more often boxes
are signed due to the fact it is easier as surface and structure of the cardboard.

In Selling, 72481064 writes:
I have a question for the Lego community. Have you ever come across a signed
Lego minifigure? This means that he has been signed across the torso or back
by a famous actor or person related to star wars. If you have did you see any
value in collecting it or even buying it and then reselling it? Do you recommend
people to invest in it? I'm trying to see if there is a market for something
like this and there don't seem to be a lot available.

Thanks

As some know area 2018 6-7 types of headgears and hairs popped up in 5 similar
colors , all with same partnr 95222 inside. With the lego logo and copyright.
I never checked then the partnr, as it had a logo, but the color blue was a bit
off color, also more friction then other hairs.

You're saying you have a part with the Lego logo on it that is nevertheless
fake?

I had it, but as die hard collector I've put it out of my hands. But yes
sadly. We live in a corrupt world.

I have no interest in these things at all but if it has the Lego logo why would
it be a fake?
Prototypes are prototypes for a reason, they can be (slightly) different of shape,
color, consistency etc.

No, I can’t.
Sometimes when a new part is €0,02 I price a used part €0,01 so 50% less, quite
much in percentage but not much in total.
A larger or more sought after part can be €0,25 when new and used €0,15 so 40%
less and it varies all the time.
The only importance to me is what parts costs in other stores, so it is never
a certain percentage but always a comparison.

In Price Guide, Fr0stByt3 writes:
I had a thought to buy a lot of used parts to give them new life. Used being
used though, they can carry a lower price than new parts of the exact
same variety (masonry bricks seem to be an exception but those were on many store
PaB walls not too long ago).

That being said, does anyone happen to have a good estimate for how much less
on average as a percent used are from new?

You should always keep in mind the buyer needs to order the item elsewhere, therefore
has extra shippingcosts.
It is better to reimburse the value of the part and (part of) the shippingcosts.

In Feedback, ReclaimedComp writes:
No, I guess I should have, but I already I charge the minimum amount on shipping.
But, the feedback states that I didn't reply and I did. As soon as I was
notified. If he would have asked for a refund on shipping I would have given
it to him. It was one $0.15 cent part but the feedback will cost me alot more.

I'm very disheartened today. I received my first neutral feedback yesterday
and thought I did everything I could to make things right. While pulling the
order I found one small part that was slightly discolored. I notified the customer
and gave them a refund but let them have the part anyway incase they could use
it. I shipped the order and the customer recieved it quickly (even sent me an
email thanking me for shipping so quickly). Later I received an email that one
of the parts I sent (a 1x2 slope) was actually a MB brand. I try to make sure
all my used parts are LEGO but sometimes one may slip through. I replied to
them (through gmail) on Jan 29th and refunded them for the part. I thought everyting
was fine. Yesterday I received a neutral feedback stating I never replied or
did anything. You try your best to keep 100% praise then one customer kills it.

Did you refund shipping in full or in part as well?

Is it possible through this site or are we supposed to exchange emails?

If I am correct you can only send them through your normal e-mail, not through
Bricklink.
And that is a shame since the best way to send messages is through the BL system,
it looks more official and makes buyers and sellers more aware they need to do
something regarding an order.

information.

My first one affected was sent at 19.54 BrickLink time. Anyone else having the
same problem?

Judy

The same here, yesterday all went fine, today the problem occurred.
I copy and paste my invoices.
After pasting them I see them in the invoice when I send it to the buyer but
it arrives empty at the buyers and my e-mailaddress.
So I had to rely on 1 of my customers that informed me about it and had to send
the invoice through the mail manually.
It is a really annoying bug.

Opinions from all members, if serious, are welcome.
In this case I would suspect this member to have another older account, otherwise
with such small experience on Bricklink they would not bother that much. But
that is my guess and opinion.

  Hello,

My store got 11th of January suspended, without reason.

I messaged Bricklink, but get no response.

I had about 22 orders, and shipped all on time, no negative feedback or anything
else.

I can't think of anything I broke any rules with.

I did log 5 minutes in on work in my account during the day I got suspended.
Could that have been the issue?

I don't know what to do, would really like to start selling again.
Also I have no acces to my inventory and locations now!!

Kind regards,

Stephan

You should be suspended for extremely high prices.
Just kidding of course, having your shop suspended isn’t funny and you can set
your own prices.
But I am not kidding about your prices, your white chicken is about 7 times more
expensive than other Dutch sellers offer and this is just 1 of many examples
in your store.

The combination of desirable sets is suspect.
They also added a large number of those sets in the past couple of weeks.

Death Star UCS, Mountain Cave, BDP sets....

This is ringing all the alarm bells for me.

I've read all comments so far.

Question remains: how can a rather new seller list 163 highly desirable sets?
Where do you buy such sets or has this seller accumulated those sets privately
for 10 years and suddenly decided to sell them? I still think this is fishy.

i won 2 pounds of near mint mini-figures on a ebay auction like 18 months ago
