I think I just solved this so in case anyone else experiences similar issues,
the problem appears to have been that Bricklink had disappeared from the Paypal
API permissions.

You can view these permissions in Paypal under;

Settings My Selling Preferences API Access Manage API Permissions

To reinstate the permissions I had to disconnect my Paypal account from Bricklink
under:

My Store Settings Payments

The reconnect using the button that then appears on the same page.

Hopefully that's useful to someone.

I also noticed a had a number of orders on Paypal showing as "void" during the

One of the buyers says he spoke to Paypal today who said it was an issue with
Bricklink.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

I've had four buyers over the last few days and haven't had any problems
with PayPal, and I made a few purchases last week, again with no problems.

And that happening on your BL-birthday!!!!

11001011 represents 203 in de non-binary system. I am sure that number means
also something regarding to you orders, feedback, ordered items etc.
Go find it!!!

Happy BL Birthday

Thanks, I had not even noticed that!!

Sadly 203 doesn't appear to mean anything in my Bricklink world - if only
I had submitted 5 more "Inventory Change Requests" as I'm currently on 198...

1 in 100? 1 in 1000?

in 7 years of selling on here i've just had my 2nd order where the buyer
claims not to have received it. And i'm skeptical about his claims of not
receiving it!

I've only ever had 1 never arrive (to Europe) out of just over 1200 orders.

Had a couple of others take waaaaay longer than they should i.e. weeks instead
of days so you never know.

Hi,

How does one set a lot (or lots) to "volume based"?

Have now read how the calculation works, I'm considering setting my entire
inventory to volume based because of the problems I have with the existing system
over-estimating how much I can get in the various packing options especially
when large number of smaller pieces have been ordered.

Thanks,
Steve

  Hi.

This is becoming an issue, another DUPLO order sold by the instant checkout system
as a large letter.

This happened even though all the items sold had manual measurements added to
show that they were 106mm x 64mm x 35mm.

was the lot also changed to "volume" based?

Would love to know how BL instant checkout thinks that this part:

Part No: 18592 Name: Propeller 3 Blade 13 Diameter (Ninjago Airjitzu Flyer Vortex Rotor)
*
18592 Propeller 3 Blade 13 Diameter (Ninjago Airjitzu Flyer Vortex Rotor)
Parts: Propeller

can be posted in a UK large letter with a max height of 2 cm when this part is
over 3.5 cms tall!!

So now I have to eat the loss of the underpaid postage

Size in the catalog is 13 x 13 x 3.3 in studs

So Height is 3.3 x 9.6mm = 31.68mm so way more than my 2cm limit.

It's actually 4 bricks high so I'll submit a change request for that
but still doesn't explain why BL thinks it can fit in a 2cm high package.

Yep, I had exactly the same with another part. BL undercharged by some €20.....
I've already said that when packing dimensions are lacking it should just
look at the stud dimensions. Makes no sense that it errs to the wrong side especially
when the stud dimensions are already giving a pretty solid indication it's
not gonna fit.

That's like... 3 lines of code? But well, that's Bricklink for you.

Thanks. Are there two separate sets of dimensions for a part? I thought there
was just one?

I have two versions of [m=sw060]

As pictured the one on the right clearly has dark grey beard/eyebrows compared
to the light grey one on the left. There is only one version of this figure
in the catalog but the associated head is described as simply "gray" rather than
light or dark:

Part No: 3626bpx106 Name: Minifigure, Head Beard with Gray Beard and Under-Eyes Wrinkles Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
*
3626bpx106 Minifigure, Head Beard with Gray Beard and Under-Eyes Wrinkles Pattern - Blocked Open Stud
Parts: Minifigure, Head

Would this just be considered as a mis-print or does it warrant a new catalog
entry?
