Little did he know, the coders were plotting their revenge...

This one I will remember for a long time

I am making backups this MONDAY. I strongly recommend you do too.

No, sets without boxes are incomplete.

Mmm, I have never seen the box listed as an item of the set when I hit an inventory
button of a set ("Item consist of"-link).
When selecting any box of a set, the "Item consists of" says "N/A".

Looks to me the logic behind the catalogue supports the "Complete" description
may be without the box.

BUT - you do not take payment onsite and instantly - you are prepared to take
your time to invoice, wait for the payment as well as take your time to ship.
So you and the buyer both get to ease into the order like. On the other hand
if you were to sit on the money for 7 days for doing nothing don't you think
an NSS will perhaps get you off your backside and busy in your shop instead of
buying groceries wih money you've not yet earned?

Nope. It would upset me to see someone being that impatient. Impatience makes
people behave only interested in ones own benefit. That saddens me.

And yes, I have chosen that kind of order handling on purpose. To prevent impatience
on both sides. BUT, not explicetly putting this in ones terms, doesn't mean
you can stamp your feet and screaming NOW NOW NOW! (or more precise LESS THAN
A WEEK! LESS THAN A WEEK!).

This kind of behaviour puts people on edges they don't need nor want to be.
Cool down, sit back, observe nature and learn from it. Nature is far more superior
than out brains.

Start an NSS. It will either get them to communicate with you or if no response
you can eventually get your money back via PayPal and cancel the order.

Jeeez, what happened to normal? 1 week and NSS pops up? I think that is a very
harsh stand you are making there.
Not everyone has nothing else in their lives bute Lego and their BrickLink shop.
I reckon, just a few BIG stores have this as a day job.

If I as a seller would be treated with this kind of behaviour, you would land
on my stoplist for sure.

A 1-week NSS is a no-go for me....

(I have clearly stated in my store what buyers can expect (mostly weekends order
handling)).

  Best,

Our BL-shop is closed, because of due to payment of the fee. We've payed
our fee in time, with another PayPal and e-mailed this to Bricklink.
We just had 1 reply in 5 weeks with the answer "we e-mailed this to our manager."

The date of payment is due and they probably will close our shop.

Has anyone have any solution or suggestion how we can handle this? Maybe a moderator
is ready this?
We've e-mailed every day for the last weeks, no reply.

Best regards,

You might send them a bill for loss of revenues due to the long processing time
it probably takes for these kind of questions.....

You might send them a "Technical Issue" through this: https://www.bricklink.com/helpDesk.asp?helpDeskID=114
Maybe they read that faster than their e-mails or forum posts (which are very
rarely replied to....)

IOW, BS.

Not the typical eloquent and articulate responses we are used to get from you...
You're doing alright ?

And your example of the lots is spot on: an order lot that consists of 1 piece
is considered to be completely shipped when 1 piece is received. If it is not
another type of piece, the following happened : 1 item in 1 lot = complete.
if you order 1 piece lots and you recieve 1 piece lots, that's "complete"
in my universe unless the piece recieved is NOT the piece you ordered.
And that are not weasel words in my opinion.

I think this is wrong. Not the order was incomplete, a set INSIDE the order,
was incomplete according to the buyer. If the order contained 1 set, 1 set was
delivered. So the order was complete. However, an item IN the order was incomplete.

Sounds just like words, but clear communication is, as always, key.

What happened?

Are you zooming (in or out)?

Nope.
In the item pages where there are 4 tabs, the guide is ok, but the seperate listing
is all messed up.

What do the store terms say about shipping costs?

25 EUR for a shipment from Germany to the UK seems a bit high to me.
Maybe pre-Brexit-fee?

Get in touch with the seller about this and see how you can work things out.

Cheers

I freak out for days if I get one neutral. I'd have to see a therapist if
I had his feedback.

Maybe you need one anyway. Are all your pancakes a 100% perfect? Is every coffee
you make a 100% perfect? Were all your grades at school A's? If so, you are
not human .

Most sellers here will have a near-heartattack when a 'neutral' hits
their store. I do not like it either, but it doesn't let me ruin my momentum,
mood, or flow. I accept it as a fact of life as I can not ask my customers to
live by my standards.

Take a deep breath, look at what you are building and exhale loudly. It's
the best therapy for an AFOL . Lol!!!!

This sounds a lot like the messages coming to the defence of HouseOfLogos just
before they went belly-up with a 98.75% positive feedback.

Dunno, just adding my experience with this shop. I don;t speculate or gamble.
Anyone has to judhe for themself based on their OWN experience. Not on someone
elses as these are always biased (mine as well!!!) and you can never lift that
bias for somebody else.....

  Hi all,

Have you already have some trouble with this guy?

My experience with him is scandalous.

As a counterweight: I have placed 8 orders here and all went very smooth and
not overpricing on shipping. I am not saying that these guys do not make mistakes,
but I have never had any trouble ordering, communicating and receiving the parts
I ordered worth over 260 euro in total.

Store terms are fine enough to get a good idea of the shipping and other fees
IMO.
And for the math:

Total feedback selling: 11.576 = 100%
Positive: 11.360 = 98.13%
Neutral: 152 = 1.32%
Negative: 64 = 0.55%

Meaning that on every 100 customers, about 2 are not fully satisfied.
Personally, I don't think that's bad......

Scaring customers away with ludicrous postage fees is another thing, but it never
happened to me. Maybe a typing error? 45 EUR instead of the 450 EUR mentioned
in the OP? 10KG + payment fee of 5% + lot average fee makes a very quick calculation
to 45......

My 2 cents.
