I'm sure that is copper. If you look at the "known colors" for that part
the only one that is even close is copper. I'm sure it's just a different
batch or age.

This mask is actually a LEGO color known as "Red Flip/Flop" and was only used
for the two Bionicle masks shown in
https://www.flickr.com/photos/126975831@N07/15123159082/
The LEGO color "Red Flip/Flop" does not have a specific color on BrickLink and
is lumped under "Copper" since there is no other color close to it.

When I said "over time", I meant that LEGO periodically changes their colours
slightly, not that the part has discoloured. (One example of colour-change-over-time
is Pearl Gold, with older elements tending to be lighter and newer ones tending
to be darker - But all variations still considered "Pearl Gold").
This part is Copper, but 2001 Copper is darker than 2019 (or 2006) Copper.

The set in which this part appears (bilmasks-1) was released in 2001, while the
Exo-Force robots were first released in 2006. Colours (particularly Pearl-type)
tend to change somewhat over time, and the description for set (bilmasks-1) specifies
that the colour is dark Copper:

XML is not a file type, it just refers to a way to structure data in plain text.
It only means that item data is placed in between tags with pointy brackets.
A file in XML formatting can have any kind of extension: txt, xls, html, ...
If you need another extension, you can just rename the file. If that doesn't
work, then probably you need something else than an XML formatted file. What
do you need it for?

My set actually contains the old style (B) treasure chest with no back slots and thin hinge. Confirmed by actual inventory and product photos on box/instructions. (Are there alternate versions?)

Hi,
I am very sure that this set came with the "a" variant for two reasons:
1. Set 6273 was produced between 1991 and 1993. Set 6260 was produced between
1989 and 1991 and that set already had the "a" variant (link below).
2. A few years ago, the user 1977_mauro changed the inventory of 6273 and many
other old sets based on sealed set contents (he added extra parts or string lenghts,
for example). As we can see, he has not changed the treasure chest in the inventory
of set 6273 but he has changed it in other inventories. I am sure he would have
also changed it here if he had found the "b" type in his copy.
All in all, the "a" type should stay here but the "b" type can be added as an
alternate if you confirm that you have found it in a sealed set.

It looks like there are other exclsuive parts that are going to cause some confusion.
These pics are on eurobricks. Look at the vampire torso, very similar to Lord
Vampyre's but a different colour waistcoat and tie. So a BAM exclusive that
will probably be confused with an existing one.
The spiderwoman - look at the large spider print, it used to be located lower
and was printed across the torso and dress. So that's another two parts very
similar to existing ones from sets but exclusive to BAM.

I will also need to create two sticker sheets to fix this inventory.
Original inventory didn't have extras, mistook a brown piece for another black one, added a large piece that I don't have and isn't in the instructions, included 3 2x2 bricks in place of one tall 2x2 brick, and omitted several pieces that were present and in the instructions. I am moving the basket to counterpart because I will be inventorying it. The basket and handle came in separate bags in the set.

I will also need to create two sticker sheets to fix this inventory.
Original inventory didn't have extras, mistook a brown piece for another black one, added a large piece that I don't have and isn't in the instructions, included 3 2x2 bricks in place of one tall 2x2 brick, and omitted several pieces that were present and in the instructions. I am moving the basket to counterpart because I will be inventorying it. The basket and handle came in separate bags in the set.
