I received feedback, that was over a week ago. I got an email saying support

I've been waiting about 8-9 days. The bricklink people haven't even opened
my message yet. Anybody would be confused into thinking this website was for
people wanting to sell Lego.

Now where did you get that ide?

For one thing, you don't have any store terms or shipping policy.

For another thing, some people are reporting a slow verification time, in the
order of several weeks. You should check periodically to see if you can open
your store. Sometimes they don't inform you.

That’s odd I am sure I set them up. I will double check though. Thanks I will
just keep a check on it.

Lol, "Nawty" shipping. I am affeered to ask

That sound like the best option. Thanks!

Is it now possible to add that extra cost to the order, and for the buyer to
pay for it? Or will I need to arrange it with the buyer separately?

Thanks

Yes.

or is the Instant Checkout option doubling as a "regular" option?

Thank you kind sir.

Thanks for letting me know.

Out of interest, did you receive any kind of feedback that your store was verified?

Where do you Open your store? When I go to my "/mystore/management.page" I don't
have the option to open my store. It says "Your store will remain closed until
new seller verification process is completed."

It's been over a week now since I applied for verification. I guess Bricklink
has more pressing things to worry about, like the AFOL Designer Series. LOL

you must open it yourself.

I see a fair amount of members here in the forum lacking seller status, looking
to offload their Lego.

There is a way to do it here on BL within the framework of the current TOS.

This thought is kind of a generic post. As each time I read a frustrated member
waiting for their seller status, many of which simply are attempting to sell-off
their personal Lego collection, I feel like I want to chime-in and explain the
other ways of going about it.

At the same time, I’d also like to keep the interest/revenue here on BL, and
prevent deflecting them to other sites.

So to those without seller's status, the word is: Trade https://www.bricklink.com/messageList.asp?ID=75

A good percentage of those posting an interest in offloading their Lego, seem
to remain Lego enthusiasts. Many may just want to churn it up a bit. Get some
new stuff. But even if that's not the case, you could advertise an interest
in trading for a store coupon that you could then use to buy a single high value
item, to then easily off load elsewhere.

The potential ways are far more expansive than I've tried to summarize here.
I don’t have time to spell it all out, here'n now. So I’ll just say: lateral
movements, in life and business!

If you make an order and get some feedback, you should open up your own store
so that you can sell them individually. You don't need to list them all at
once; just take your time until you've got them all listed. It takes some
time, but you'll get more money out of it. You can also create super lots
in your store, where you could bunch together 3-5 sets or something like that.
I think selling each set individually would be faster then finding someone to
buy all of them together anyways.

If you do list them in a store, let me know. I might want some of 'em.

Over the course of July, I had 41 orders.

Over the course of the last 6 days, I've had 17 orders.

Anyone else experiencing an uptick like this? A little early to call it on seasonal
cycle.

I did just upload a some parts/figures at the 6mo. avg price instead of my usual
supply/demand algo, so that could be driving part of it as well.

Anytime I upload a batch of parts/figures, I see a little uptick in orders and
many will be from those parts just uploaded, so your adding inventory surely
helped give you a boost. Otherwise, my orders have been relatively normal.
I plan to start plotting my orders to see what I can gather from it as I will
be finishing my 3rd full year in a couple months, so hopefully it will begin
to become enough of a data set to actually pick something from.

That said, with our inventories ever evolving, I'm not sure smaller stores
like me will have natural ebbs and flows throughout a calendar year, but maybe
I will be wrong when it all comes out.

I've kept track since day 1. It's all in excel, but i haven't made
a chart yet.
It's definitely multi-variable though just scrolling thru the monthly totals.

I'd say the 3 biggest variables for me are;
-Inventory (recent uploads and number of unique rare lots)
-Pricing relative to 6mo. avg.
-Seasonal
