This solution does not prevent tricks like BRicksters (see other posts for details)
has pulled of succesfully over a long period of time.
Apparently the rule is:

if you can't read the feedback right, we can't be bothered when are being
scammed, it's your own fault.

We as sellers and buyers do our best to help new members getting familiar here
at BL and at the same time, they are easy prey for scavengers.

The feedback system is fine, reading is required, decisions are made by individuals
to buy stuff. But the system that provides these bad sellers needs to be addressed
and changed. NOT the feedback system (at least: not for this reason...).

It takes a wise man to make this post. Not many people have the strength and
wisdom to do this. Nice to see one who has.
Thanks Ken.

No: the member is not suspicious, its store or items or practices are.
Please do not label people when you want to label behaviour

In fairness, it WAS suggested. Why they chose this suggestion, out of all of
them, to implement is beyond me though.

Missed that

  Better text:

"When this set was released on 2010 the Manufacturers' Suggested Retail Price
was $99.99. Be advised that in the secondary market prices are determined by
supply and demand and may be significantly more than MSRP."

Yep, please add this to the implemented feature CS! Please?

Nicely put.
An explanation on the WHY this was added would be nice
I haven't got a clue from the point of sales that is.... As research facility,
it is a nice addition though.

Well made point.
I recently hinted the CS to opening an update tab or something like that so
there is an OFFICIAL 'release/update/news' thread that doesn't fill
up the forum.
I'm PRO!

Ignorent readers will also not read the TOS, useless addition in my opinion.
You can't educate a potential buyer with a sharper TOS....

This is the hardest thing for so many people to do without feeling like they
are incompetent. But it is the best way to gain the confidence of your customer.
It's one of those things that most people think is backwards, ie "don't
admit you don't know something or they will think you are incompetent". This
is simply not true.

I feel saying 'I don't know' proof of pure selfknowledge. It is not
always regarded as such, but being aware of ones limitations is a very powerful
force.
