The user has been notified to add this alternate sticker sheet to the catalog
if they would like to (along with the others linked to below). Beyond that, there
is nothing else for us to do.

It was a Shell promotional set, so probably the same year or one year later.

  When you click on the colored cells in the color guide (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp)
you get a link to for instance (for Pearl Very Light Gray): https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?colorID=119

But what is this even meant to show? If it was linking to say, https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=P&colorPart=119
- that would make sense (but also be redundant, because the Parts column already
links there).

As far as I can tell, it seems to match "On Wanted List", which is entirely
non-sensical? (For instance, Pearl White links to https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=853508#T=C&C=0
which makes no sense beside that it is for some reason on Wanted Lists).

Should these even have a link at all?

It is just a list of all items in the catalog that have their default image set
to that corresponding color. The default image is the one that is displayed when
you first get to an item's catalog page. That's all.

BTW, thanks for catching that Pearl White error. It should have been "N/A".

  It is not from PAB. That was just an example to show that there are also legit
ways to get unreleased lego parts.
I bought the part from bricklink my self in 2014.

Which parts have been on a PAB wall that have not been released? The BAM minifig
parts get catalogued and I cannot remember any examples of parts from PAB walls
that have never been released. Even if there were other legitimate routes for
other unreleased parts, it doesn’t mean all unreleased parts should be allowed
here.

I believe a lot of Warm Yellowish Orange parts were recently released at the
Florida LEGOLAND PAB? They definitely were never released in anything else, and
they were most likely old product from the model shop that had been sitting around
for almost 20 years. There have been lots of legitimate ways over the course
of LEGO history to obtain many rare and unique items.

  Hello,

The Bricklink administration removed one of my selling listings. The reason was
that the parts were listed in a non existent color.
The part was actually a genuine lego part, listed in the correct color. Only
was it never released in an official set, so it does not show up in the color
guide in any set. Is it no longer allowed to list such parts? As far as i know
this type of parts could be obtained in a legal way from a pick a brick wall.

Great question, the baby dinosaur part in tan always confused me as it's
not in any sets, but there are a decent amount of them for sale.

  Hello, this has been bothering me for a while now, but several of the mask packs
listed either do not exist at all, or are listed with the wrong region.

For starters, the US/non-US distinction -- having spoken with several Canadian
BIONICLE fans about these, Canada had the boxed versions as well. Additionally,
LEGO's naming scheme uses the distinguishment of "IN" and "AM",
rather than "NA" or "US", which leads me to believe that they
were available in both South and North America.

Considering that Connecticut became HQ for LEGO's activities in all of America
around 1998, this also tracks: https://www.lego.com/en-gb/history/articles/g-production-in-brazil/

Further-more, I have found no evidence of 8530, 8559, 8597, or 8600 existing
in boxed form. Just Google them, there are no photos of them - because they do
not exist.

  Hello!

I noticed that some sets like the Daily Bugle (76178-1) list the Doc Ock figure
with the arms included, but the one from the Monster Truck set (76174-1) didn't.

Could it be at least included as an alternate to the minifigure alone? It makes
more sense to me for the figure to be offered both with and without the mechanical
arms, but the listings including these are inconsistent.

Thanks for the consideration and any feedback about the situation.

Nathan (Peteparker)

Our current catalog guidelines for minifigures make the condition of handheld
items being added to the minifigure in the instructions the finishing point of
the minifigure build. So, for Doc Ock from

Set No: 76174 Name: Spider-Man's Monster Truck vs. Mysterio
*
76174-1 (Inv) Spider-Man's Monster Truck vs. Mysterio
422 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2021
Sets: Super Heroes: Spider-Man
the figure is considered complete on page 5 before the arms are built and added
on the subsequent pages.

Randy

No. I cannot find a single other instance of this set being in a yellow bucket.
Every one I can find is in the green bucket that says 70 pieces included and
has the image of 2332c01 assembled. Yours seems to be a later production run
when they started to separate these parts. The inventory is best left as is since
it is seems to be the much more common version.

  Also this is in a yellow cube, production run says 3420? Add a note maybe?

I only had 4 duplo sets, 2 green buckets and 2 yellow ones.

been reserved, but they weren't pending.

Doesn’t the set’s page show “pending approval” either way?

Nope.

A set that is reserved shows "Inventory In Progress".

A set that is being worked on or is complete and pending approval shows "Inventory
Pending Approval".

Both conditions are poorly labeled.

  I was just waiting for these inventories to check I had the colours right in
Studio, without having to check the element IDs from the instructions one by
one
But I’m not sure I looked at the pending inventories for these ones.  I think
I did but I may be confusing with other sets 🤔

Sets: LEGO Ideas (CUUSOO): Dungeons & Dragons
and

Set No: 60439 Name: Space Science Lab
*
60439-1 Space Science Lab
2024
Sets: Town: City: Space Exploration

These sets had inventories pending approval for some time… and now they don’t
have anything.
Was there something wrong?  Did the submitters gave up?

(¹ Not an “I need to part them out! do your job! chop chop!” rant, I’m just puzzled.)

I don't recall ever seeing these inventories pending approval. They may have
been reserved, but they weren't pending.

I build. The whole reason I even started parting out sets was to pillage parts
for us and sell the rest to offset everything. Concurrently, a game from my
childhood popped up on kickstarter and I ponied up for the super mega deluxe
version of Crossbows and Catapults. As we're patiently waiting for it's
delivery we've been adapting our LEGO play to incorporate break away walls
to knock down, but it's proving difficult because nothing has enough "oomph"
to knock things down.

This is way to weak with very short range.

Part No: x110c01 Name: Projectile Launcher, Cannon Shooting
*
x110c01 Projectile Launcher, Cannon Shooting
Parts: Projectile Launcher {Pearl Dark Gray}

These have some velocity but still don't have a lot of kinetic energy.

Part No: 15303 Name: Projectile Arrow, Bar 8L with Round End (Spring Shooter Dart)
*
15303 Projectile Arrow, Bar 8L with Round End (Spring Shooter Dart)
Parts: Projectile Launcher {Trans-Orange}

I never knew about this until this weekend, but I saw some knockoffs with a rubber
tip. Is it powerful enough to knock over a few bricks from 4-5 feet away?

Part No: 57029c01 Name: Projectile Launcher, Cannon, Flat Bottom
*
57029c01 Projectile Launcher, Cannon, Flat Bottom
Parts: Projectile Launcher {Black}

Hi,

I kept that system from Exo-Force set

Set No: 8108 Name: Mobile Devastator
*
8108-1 (Inv) Mobile Devastator
926 Parts, 13 Minifigures, 2007
Sets: Exo-Force
that is quite powerful. You cans use it with Bionicle Zamor Spheres

Part No: 54271 Name: Bionicle Zamor Sphere Launcher
*
54271 Bionicle Zamor Sphere Launcher
Parts: BIONICLE

I totally forgot about that one! It's probably better at being able to be
aimed appropriately.

  But this part

Part No: 60932cx1 Name: Projectile Launcher, Bionicle Weapon Midak (Zamor) Skyblaster with Black Housing
*
60932cx1 Projectile Launcher, Bionicle Weapon Midak (Zamor) Skyblaster with Black Housing
Parts: Projectile Launcher {Flat Silver}
is also great to launch them

  Set 76416 Inventory shows part 22385 in Green, but no such item in Dark Green.
This is consistent with the Lego instructions posted on Lego.com, since the
set includes one 6290600 according to the instructions.

The derived item with a sticker, 22385pb304, also in the inventory of that set,
claims it is Dark Green. I believe this needs to be updated to be Green.

It sure does. Thanks for catching this.

739 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 2022
Sets: Train: RC Train
as a custom item, but
can there be a catalog entry for them similar to how characters from Super Mario
Bros Series 6 are entered with the hyphen and number? It would be helpful if
only to establish a market price for the locomotive and each carriage.

I only mention this because I've seen multiple youtube/tiktok videos recently
where people have added several carriages on to the base sets.

We tried an experiment at doing something like this with a "Special Assembly"
category. The experiment was not a success. Therefore, we will not be adding
any more assemblies like this to the catalog in the future.

Cheers,
Randy

  I second that. Zamor spheres are large, heavy, and pack quite a punch from the
launchers being squeezed together.

I'm looking at how it's put together in book 1 page 21 for set 76103.
Looks like you press it down and the resistance against the floor builds up
pressure? This might do the trick.

YOu know; I saw that in the list but didn't look closely at it. I assume
it's flexible? And you pull it back and let it fling like a catapult? ...

Nope. You use two of them together to hold a Zamor sphere, and then squeeze the
two of them together to launch the Zamor sphere. It packs a punch.

See how they are used for the tail of the large insect build in this set:

Set No: 70702 Name: Warp Stinger

*
64275 Projectile Launcher Part, Bionicle Thornax Launcher Half (Glatorian), Liftarm End 1 x 8

  Of course now that I just said that I have an idea for a lego trebuchet. LOL!
Wife isn't going to like this...

* Change 2 Part {Red to Dark Red} 2496 Wheel Skateboard / Trolley

Comments from Submitter:
I just parted out this minifigure and the wheels look like dark red and not like red.

These wheels are made from a material that can make the color red look slightly
darker than normal red, but it isn't dark red. However, they are definitely
supposed to be red.

If you could, please post a photo of the wheels next to other known red and dark
red parts.

Cheers,
Randy
