I don’t know the rules and procedures for images in the catalogue but the forum
is not a good solution: it reduces images to a width of 640.

it should be as simple as going to this page selecting book
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogImageAdd.page
and adding the image so long as it meets the restrictions and then submitting
it
