I am not sure a "Parts list" exists for just this build. You would have
to look at instructions for this build and make a parts list yourself.
Using the inventory for this set, the instructions, and a wanted list, you can
add the parts for each step to the wanted list by selecting them from the inventory
of the set. You can then download your wanted list, I believe, though I do not
know how as I have never done it before. Someone here could help with that aspect
though.
Good luck,

My seller sent me an invoice, I paid for the order, the seller contacted me and
told me he forgot to add in the shipping and that he would send another invoice
for that. Knowing the seller could not invoice me for just shipping, I told the
seller to hold on to the order for 1 week and I would place another order so
that they could then invoice me for the shipping for both orders and send them
both together.
To me this seemed like a no-brainer. It gets me a bunch of parts I need and I
get to save on shipping and the seller gets the shipping costs paid.
1 week goes by and I place my second order, the seller sends me an invoice for
the second order, but I think something must have been wrong with it because
when I clicked into the invoice there was a message at the top of it that the
invoice had been updated and it had a "Go" link.
Okay this is new; I have never seen an invoice with a "Go" link before.
I click on the link, and it takes me to another invoice that looks identical
to the first invoice. I read through the invoice, as I always do, make sure it
all looks correct, and go back up to the top to click on the "Pay" button
only there isn't a "Pay" button. I look on my orders page, no "pay"
button next to the order. I look on the order itself, no "Pay" button.
|
Maybe this new invoice is updated with postage?
|
The first payment went through just fine as an onsite PayPal transaction. At
this point I would think that my order would automatically default to paid. As
I have never had a store on Bricklink, I do not know how the Bricklink system
works when an order is paid. The seller contacted me after this and explained
that he had forgotten to include the shipping costs and would send an invoice
for them. Knowing that a store cannot send an invoice for an order that has already
been paid for, I sent back a message to the seller with a solution. I would place
another order on the following Monday, and he could then invoice me for that
order and the shipping costs to ship both orders in the same package. He agreed
to this and that following Monday I placed my second order at his store. When
I checked out, the final checkout screen had Batch 1 and Batch 2 on it. Even
though my 1st order had been paid for, both orders were included. He sent me
an invoice that included shipping and a credit for the amount of money I paid
on the first order minus the state taxes. I cannot pay for the order. The seller
has contacted the Help Desk to find a solution.
I would like to think that all he has to do is refund the money I paid, mark
the order as ready or packed and then he could send a new invoice similar to
how a store would manage an order that paid with an offsite payment where taxes
could not be remitted to Bricklink?

order then sits permanently at packed with payment as none. Then the next order
they place gets added onto their last 'open order' as a new batch. I
send them an invoice and there is no pay button.
|
This may very well be what happened here.
|
I've been patiently waiting for the help desk to look into the ticket that
I filed, but have it on my to-do list to send them a second request for help
at the end of the month. It isn't currently happening, but my local buyers

I do hope a resolution can be found!
|
The only solution we have been able to work out is for me to email my buyer my
direct PayPal link and take payment that way, then we can at least move forward
with getting their parts to them.
|
This really isn't a good solution because taxes are not being remitted to
Bricklink or whomever the taxes get remitted too. I understand it is the only
way for you with your local buyers currently. Bricklink does need to find a solution
for this.

The 1st order I placed in their store was paid for through invoice and had the

TL;DR
There's no "Pay" or "Go" button in any invoice, except if
the seller put this link (button) himself in a specific invoice he sent you (which
can be completely manual or automatic).

Which the seller obviously did or the "GO" link would not have been there.

In ULTRA short: simply check your order on BrickLink and see if there's THERE
a "Pay" button.
This is in your BrickLink account, My BL, Orders.
|
As I stated in my original post, there isn't any "PAY" button on
the invoice nor on the order details page NOR on the order itself!

Use THIS button to pay for the order (if the amounts are expected), nothing
else.

at once. My initial investment was over $50k.
1. Any thoughts on how to liquidate everything ASAP?
2. Would selling everything by the pound on eBay be an option? - Not very attractive
I'm sure.
Thoughts are appreciated.
|
You could sell the collection intact on eBay. List the sets you know are there.
Make note of those sets that have an instruction manual or box.
You could set it up as a "buy it now" and that way you get the amount
you want, or do it auction style and add a reserve price which is your lowest
amount you would accept.
Make sure you take pictures of all minifigures, animals, "glass", marked
& printed parts. Specialty parts like motorcycles, baseplates, plants, instructions,
& boxes will help sell it. You can upload 24 pictures.
Keep in mind you will not get full value (what you paid) but depending on theme
and condition and the rarity of the sets, you could make quite a lot.
Do some research to see what other people are listing collections for and what
they have sold for as well.
Good luck!

| Hello everyone,
As a platform, we have decided to take a hard look at some of the mold variants
that we are currently asking you to recognize. For sellers, more variants means
extra sorting and extra work while pulling orders, plus the issues that arise
from variant misunderstandings.
For buyers, excess variants mean that it's harder to assemble a wanted list,
find stores, and ultimately obtain the parts you are looking for.
I have put together a quick Help page to outline these proposed changes:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2625
|
I have read through the entirety of this subject, here are my opinions...
Do not change anything that has to do with minifigures! People who buy them OR
parts of them OR sets put a lot of importance on the minifigures being authentically
correct. I appreciate that solid stud heads will continue to have their own entry
in the catalog however it is annoying to order blocked open heads and receive
hollow stud heads instead and I can only imagine the nightmare of what this will
do to minifigure torsos.
Story time:
20 years ago, this coming April, I did a search of the internet looking for a
resource to buy LEGO by the single piece and Bricklink came up in my search.
It sounded the most promising for the business I wanted to start and so I clicked
that link to check it out. Imagine, if you will, how delighted I was to find
a site that had thousands of LEGO set inventories that I could access, and thousands
of shops to shop at with single parts, instructions, sets (both new and used),
and a chat room full of people that could answer my questions or keep me company
while working LEGO in my office! Of course, I cannot forget to mention the most
amazing catalog.
Bricklink is the reason my business is viable today. I rely on the catalog variations
to find the correct parts for the sets I need to finish.
I consider myself old school when it comes to Bricklink and have had to contact
shops to find out if they have the correct variations. Recently, 2020-2024, it
has become very frustrating when shop owners will not answer the question OR
worse yet, insist they do have the correct period piece and when it arrives,
you discover it is in fact incorrect or you get blacklisted for having the audacity
to ask a question in the first place. It should not be the buyer's job to
teach the shop owner about variations and yet I find myself doing this quite
often.
So, it is not JUST collector's that this will be affecting, it is also those
of us that use Bricklink to do as I have done for 20 years, refurbishing LEGO
sets.
This site was designed for the LEGO collector to be able to find the part(s)
they needed to complete sets, projects, and MOCS and to be able to discuss anything
LEGO with other people who love LEGO.
I feel like that vision is being lost.

Redesigned during production.
There are at least two different versions of instructions for this set. The differences
for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items
section with Match ID 99.
Quick overview of redesign: In the cockpit module various parts are added to
strengthen the build. In the track assembly two black 3708 Technic, Axle 12 are
replaced by four black 6558 Technic, Pin 3L with Friction Ridges Lengthwise,
enabling the tracks on each side to move independently from each other.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are numerical errors in the parts lists in the instructions for both versions
of this set. The early version of the instructions incorrectly lists only one
pair of minifigure legs, but two are included. It also lists 13 dark bluish gray
32291 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular Double, but only 12 were
included. The later version of the instructions incorrectly lists one black 6558
Technic, Pin 3L with Friction Ridges Lengthwise, but 18 are included.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dark bluish gray 32523 Technic, Liftarm 1 x 3 Thick in the later version
of the set has also been found in dark gray. The black 6538b Technic, Axle Connector
2L (Ridged with x Hole x Orientation) have also been found in the set as 6538c
Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Smooth with x Hole + Orientation).

The .jpg extension actually covers different formats and subformats.
It can be quite complicated to find the guilty ‘option’ to explain the problem.
I don’t think it’s necessary to go further anyway because all the subformats
should be accepted (or, at least, there should be a useful/clear error message)
and knowing it’s the format and not the size or a handling error should be sufficient
for the devs.
But, at worse, they can ask for an example file.

My biggest mistake was to order an item thinking the store I was ordering from
had the part listed correctly. I receive my order and realize the part was the
wrong variant. I contact the store, but they do not have to correct part.
This was for and I needed 3. I had also placed 2 other
orders at the same time and when those orders arrived, I was horrified to find
that those stores also sent me the wrong part. So now I had 3 that
I didn't need and none of the shops I had ordered from had the correct part.
I found another shop that had the x264 listed and contacted them to verify they
had the correct part. They assured me they did and so I ordered. It was the wrong
part again but this time the store actually said they would source it for me
and send it on to me when they got it. That part finally arrived and again it
was the wrong part.
I did finally find a shop that had all 3 but they didn't ship to the USA,
so I contacted them and asked if they could send me a picture of the 3 parts
they had listed. They did, and they were the correct ones, and that shop owner
was willing to ship an order to me!
All told, it cost me somewhere between $40-$50 to finally get the 3 parts I needed.
The moral of the story is, IF you need a specific variant of part, contact the
shop and ask them to verify the part variant and maybe send pictures to prove
it is correct.

Yes, my question is where this specific color (Pearl Dark Gray) came from as
it's not in the catalog at all. Perhaps it was an alternate possible color
in some sets and no one ever made note it?

The 2 swords in set are and Light Bluish Gray.
At least those were the colors ours came with.

Most stores use some kind of container storage system like Akro Mills or Sterilite
drawers. Others use bins or shoe boxes. Some use baseball card boxes to store
minifigures.
You should go to YouTube and watch some videos on how people store their LEGO.

Hi Adam,
Welcome to Bricklink!
The best way to get sales is to increase your lots, IE: store inventory. More
product=more sales.
Most people on Bricklink are looking for parts so selling sets is a waiting game.
Think of it like this...
500 people log into Bricklink. Of those 500 people, only 25 are looking to buy
sets. There are over 19,000 sets listed on Bricklink of which you have 22. Your
store is 1 of 17,799 stores currently open on Bricklink and there are currently
2,873,530 sets New & Used being sold in those stores. The odds of someone looking
for one of the sets you have listed is very small.
To increase your chances, you need to add product to your store.
Other sellers have listed their products at a lower price than the 6-month average
when they are first starting out to help them gain feedback and customers as
well as sales.
I wish you the best in your journey on Bricklink!

| Why do shops sell when the clip is broken?
This part is not usable at all with a broken clip. I also believe that the price
of this piece gets inflated due to sellers selling a broken part.
I understand that sellers have the right to sell anything LEGO in their shops
as long as it is clearly stated in the description if something is wrong with
the part.
Seriously though, who is going to buy a useless part? It cannot hold up the
Super Battle Droid or any other droid.
Can someone please explain this to me?

the color is not dark gray as shown in the picture on the left. I would call

I have some bricks and plates in this color and am looking for matching stones.
So what color should I choose to find brownish gray parts?

If you wish to match the color of the track sleeper make sure you

Thanks for any help,

|
Hi Lozza,
7 days is the waiting period before you can file an NRS or an NSS. Once you have
filed a NRS or NSS, you have to wait 7 days to give your seller a chance to respond.
The seller should reach out to you and hopefully be able to work with you on
solving any problem.
IF at the end of this time the seller has not reached out to you OR the NRS /
NSS has not been resolved, you can go to your payment institute and file a claim
to get a full refund. You should also be able to finalize the NRS / NSS on Bricklink
at this time.

The brands I found that seem serious are:

I have only bought from Light My Bricks. They are fairly easy to install as they

change up the displays through the seasons and keep it interesting for return
customers.
My question is do you think I would have any trouble with Lego? I wouldn't
use Lego in the store name and we wouldn't sell Lego sets. It's just
a place for families to enjoy when they are enjoying time together.
I already build large displays and so many people of all ages are into Lego that
I think a train display with lots of cool builds would do well. I just don't
want to put in a ton of time and money and have Lego send me a cease and desist.
I don't know who to reach out to and ask.
Thank you.

As long as you do not use any copyrights of LEGO including the name, or selling
ANY LEGO product without permission, they cannot object. After all, you are the
one who bought all the bricks the displays are built of so those bricks are now
your property, and you can use them as you see fit including displaying them
to the public.
I am not a lawyer. These are just my opinions on the matter.

|
When shipping with USPS, they will charge based off weight AND size of the package
as well as how far the package has to travel. Any large box is going to be shipped
in a LARGE package which will increase the shipping costs regardless of the weight.
I do not know how UPS or FedEx work, but those 2 companies are generally more
expensive than USPS.
I personally would only use manual for large boxes so you can do research to
find the lowest price for shipping for each one based on the buyer's location
before sending an invoice. You could do all the research before listing them
to have an idea of how much it would cost to ship to a close state and also the
farthest states. Make a list for each box you are going to sell so if someone
inquires about shipping for that box, you will only need to know what state they
are in, and you can give them a ballpark figure.

Hi,
I tried to find, but nothing...
The black plate 6x12 appears in 129 sets.
These 2 parts should appears as alternate in the inventory of the concerned set.
I thought it would be in late 2000 sets, like in Ferrari or Lamborghini sets...
There is no hint on the paper ?
