I'm looking at how it's put together in book 1 page 21 for set 76103.
Looks like you press it down and the resistance against the floor builds up
pressure? This might do the trick.

Nope. You use two of them together to hold a Zamor sphere, and then squeeze the
two of them together to launch the Zamor sphere. It packs a punch.
See how they are used for the tail of the large insect build in this set:
There is also this one that is used in other sets:
| Of course now that I just said that I have an idea for a lego trebuchet. LOL!

childhood popped up on kickstarter and I ponied up for the super mega deluxe
version of Crossbows and Catapults. As we're patiently waiting for it's
delivery we've been adapting our LEGO play to incorporate break away walls
to knock down, but it's proving difficult because nothing has enough "oomph"
to knock things down.
This is way to weak with very short range.
These have some velocity but still don't have a lot of kinetic energy.
I never knew about this until this weekend, but I saw some knockoffs with a rubber
tip. Is it powerful enough to knock over a few bricks from 4-5 feet away?

Ooo. Yea that looks promising. The photo of the set for looks like
it's mounted to an 1800's style rolling cannon, and that projectile coming
out of it looks like the inspiration for the knock off projectile I saw. I think
my local Kroger has this set in stock. I'll try to grab a copy and try it
out. Thanks!

| Thanks for the kind words!
I took a lot of inspiration from videos online; I wish I could give everyone
credit. That one guy from Germany with a Lego city is a freaking beast!
I've added the creation to the gallery:

Thanks again to everyone I've met along the way.
Happy Building!!
