There are a handful of times I questioned the price at which someone purchased
something from me. They seemed lower than what I would have wanted. You can't
get that data after the fact, but what you can do for future instances, is mark
everything in your inventory to "retain items after being sold out" (or
whatever it's called). It's in your inventory page at the bottom. This
will preserve that item with a zero quantity in your stock room at the original
price.
Turns out my issue was inadvertently having items on sale (like I put all black
and orange items on 50% sale when the Bengals went to the Super Bowl, but I didn't
realize that included my Darth Vaders. So I sold out of nearly all of them in
a day.) or when I would upload a new parted out set using the NEW price, not
realizing that the newly updated prices were 15% lower than a year prior.

It's way more likely you fat fingered a typo on the price than a glitch.

There is nowhere to confirm, other than the order. I'm not saying a glitch
is impossible, but there is no normal, intended way for a customer to buy something
at a lower price than you listed. The most likely scenario is that you entered
a different number than you intended.

Is there by chance a possibility to change more remarks in the store inventory

For example, the remark "box 1" (50 lots) needs to become "box 100".
So I am not willing to change one by one these 50 remarks. This will take me
ages to do so for the whole inventory (nearly 19k lots)...
Can I change the 50x remark "box 1" to "box 100" at once?
Thank you in advance

First thing: buy from another seller to get positive feedback (all feedback is
transactional on BrickLink). Once you have a positive feedback you can convert
your account to a seller account.
Then you'll be asked to submit documents for verification.

As others have said, magazine promotions. They switched over to paper bags in
2022.
Germans and Poles seem to have the most.
I suspect there are a few sellers who have the hookup to where they buy up all
the unsold magazines (or raid a dumpster/pay a worker where they are being thrown
away) for the minifigs.
They could be buying retail, but I find it hard to believe they are picking up
1000 of the same set by visiting stores and paying retail price.
In the US, LEGO has produced promotional figures that come with DVD/Blu-ray (LEGO
movie, superheroes), and I have recently seen small children's books that
include a minifigure at Dollar General.

Magazines; and they're not cheap (at least not in Canada).

Yep - they appear to be primarily available in Europe for some unknown (I presume
licensing) reason.
Nowadays the foil packs are actually paper though. The mags themselves can be
picked up in most newsagents and supermarkets in the UK for around £5. Themes
include Batman, Star Wars Jurassic World, Ninjago, City etc.

Hi,
The problem would be a old part number (due to a renaming or a merge)… and there’s
no way to correct that on the website
I think BrickStore could be able to automatically correct your XML file… or at
least it’ll have a simple and easy to use interface to find the correct part.

Open an NSS (Non-Shipping Seller) and, if you paid via PayPal, start a PayPal

I think it's unlikely that you actually got scammed, but the seller is still
responsible for the package getting to the buyer.

We have plenty of magazines with that in France, I believe in complete Europe.
Lots of little City, Star Wars, Ninjago, Legends of Chima, Friends, Elves, Technic...
polybags
It's almost always cheaper to buy the complete magazine instead of just buying

Try some dawn dish soap. Sometimes it doesn't work and I use the edge of

As Nubs is showing you, or the old school method by adding a comma followed by

I believe it's allowed, one wishes that buyers would be a bit more honest
though.
|
But a nothing says a dropshipper couldn't order from bricklink. Besides there
are tons of different reasons to ship to a different address: a gift, item you
were short on, completing a transaction, trades how and shipping to hotel, business
partner, relative that doesn't like the internet, friend that doesn't
want the hassle to setup a bl account.
|
Yes, to be clear a BrickLink seller can't dropship since BL sellers can only
list what they actually have in inventory (maybe an exception can be made for
inventory mistakes, etc.). But there isn't anything stopping people from
listing on e.g., eBay, and then dropshipping from BL.
|
Yes exactly this ^
Bricklink doesn't want people selling what they don't have to hand here
because that can create a bad buyer experience. However it will be of little
concern to Bricklink if the buyer is shopping from another platform and the goods
are drop shipping from Bricklink
|
The only time we step in is if the dropshipper is a professional buyer and starts
giving sellers a hard time about orders that didn't go well. Otherwise, we
tolerate them - because a lot of our sellers appreciate the business.
|
Yes personally I'm happy to take orders from drop shippers but for my own
sales I prefer to hold the inventory else things can get messy with sourcing
as well as jeopardizing own feedback when relying too heavily on the service
and accuracy of others

|
|

I believe it's allowed, one wishes that buyers would be a bit more honest

But a nothing says a dropshipper couldn't order from bricklink. Besides there
are tons of different reasons to ship to a different address: a gift, item you

Yes, it is allowed. If it is a dropshipper, you may get a nice repeat customer.
Also, just because the buyer's info is different doesn't automatically
make it a dropship. It could be a seller short of parts on an order who wants
you to ship the missing parts directly to their customer.

You can't list items you don't own, but that is in the sellers control.
1.2.8 Exact quantity: The quantity of the item that you are listing for sale
must not be greater than the quantity you have physical possession of in the
country in which your BrickLink store is registered. Drop shipping is not permitted.
The only exception to this is a custom fan magazine that has to be pre-ordered
and the Buyer is made aware of this in the item description.

Hi,
To part out a set: hover over the white, heart-shaped “Want” icon and click “Part
Out”: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/partout.page
But you can’t “apply” a Wanted List (or an inventory) to another one on BrickLink,
to remove the parts you already have. You need to use third-party tools, like
BrickStore (application) or Rebrickable (website).

Updated is normal, because the buyer "updated" the order when adding
a 2nd batch.
And anyway, Updated isn't a "closing" status unlike: Paid, Packed,
Shipped, Received or Completed (of course).
Again, I've never seen a glitch from BrickLink on adding to an order. There's
some logical reason.
It could also be due to some limitation in weight, size, min, max or such in
your available Shipping Methods?

There's nothing to do to allow an open order.
ANY shipping method that doesn't involve instant payment or any order which
isn't paid leaves by default the order opened (if the seller doesn't
change the status to Paid, Packed)...
There's no glitch I'm aware of.
But this may happen if there's a change of tax, like VAT.
If a buyer outside UK places an order for less than 150€, VAT will be charged
to him.
If he adds more and the order is now over 150€ then the first order may be automatically
"closed" because the VAT treatment would be different.
I'm not 100% sure of this, but I guess it could be the problem.
In your case, no, you can't "merge" or add to any order (luckily
for buyers).
If buyer didn't pay anything and it's not complicated, maybe cancel 1
or both orders and ask the buyer to place a first batch of MORE than 150€? After
this, he can leave and add to the order as long as he wishes.
Please be sure buyer's aware he'll have to pay for VAT (around 20% in
EU) - as some may not be aware and could refuse the parcel delivery - return
being at your cost

I'm a new seller, and believe I've setup the option for buyers to place

I have a buyer (who is very patient!) who has created an open order. He added
some parts which showed as Batch 1. He added more parts which appeared in the
same Order number as Batch 2. So far so good.
At this stage the Order Status changed to "Updated". I assume this was
done automatically.
The buyer then added more parts, but they didn't appear in that open order.
Instead a whole new order number was created. The status of that new order
is "Pending".
So I'm not sure if this is some strange glitch that hasn't added another
batch to the already open order, or if this is something I haven't setup
correctly. The Buyer would now like to complete his order(s). What do I/we
do?
1: Is there a way to cancel the 2nd order and fix some setting so that when
he re-adds the part it is added to the original order.
2: Do I just send two invoices for the two orders with a total value that covers
the shipping as a single package?
Grateful for any advice, thanks.

Same here. You get, what is it, about 6 weeks to pay it so there really shouldn't

is sensible. You don't have to remember once you are back.

One feature that might be helpful here is the ability to pre-pay fees.

Many sites have automated billing yes,

More payment methods with less fees? Not something to argue with Though still

Much more... with the extra planning development test deployment accounting costs

patience. Does anyone have any ideas?"
This is super Surprising because they had a very high Sale Count with mostly
positive feedbacks.

Baffling is an understatement.

Same here. You get, what is it, about 6 weeks to pay it so there really shouldn't
be any excuse to missing it. Especially if going away, paying it before leaving
is sensible. You don't have to remember once you are back.

One feature that might be helpful here is the ability to pre-pay fees.

Much more... with the extra planning development test deployment accounting costs
to save say 2% of 3%... they may start to save money in 5 or 10 years maybe?

Yes! That usually happens when we get new used bulk in.
When we get new bulk in, we usually do something along the lines of what these

Categories.
We sort into 19 different categories. The same ones that the Great Brick Lab
(GBL) uses to sort their Lego. I’ll post a link to the sorting sheet later.

I printed it out and sort 1 pound of Lego into the category’s and it took around
50 minutes so I’m think maybe $2 a pound. But maybe state that you have to finish
sorting the entire bin to get paid. I would also pull out category #16 just as
a per caution. Also it should not be snowing this time of year

If by category then maybe $1 per pound but you may want to sift through it quickly
to pull out more valuable pieces before giving it to someone to sort
