| I sold what I had listed as 825068 LED Key Light Darth Vader Key Chain (LEDLITE)
- Boxed Version today but the ones I have are actually a tagged version LGL-KE7T.
The tagged version in the catalogue is LGL-KE7H. I'm waiting to hear back
from the buyer to see if they still want it.
The catalogue says the tagged version was released in 2020 but I've had mine
since 2011. Does anyone know of a name change and if "boxed version"
was added to the name at some point? I listed them too long ago to remember what
the name of the item was at the time.
The tag on mine is different to the one in the catalogue and it also has a white
tag with instructions on how to replace the batteries. That tag says z11175 v1,
8/02/11.

A good way to check would be to search "2598*" and then you can see all
the patterned version of that part to make sure that there is nothing similar

case.

It often happens with highly specialised designs and it can be a problem if you
have to know what you have to be able to search for it. But how would you describe
these parts to make them searchable? There will be a lot of parts with a description
like "with dark bluish grey lines".
I find Google lens is now quicker and more reliable than searching by words.

And brickognize is even faster and more reliable, tho if you don’t have the part
on hand and printing to find it then it can be difficult

Instead of parting out 4 copies of set 10291-1, are you changing the numbers

cause this error.

Agreed. We've from the very start, keep a box that grew in size over time,
for all things "don't know what to do with it, just now"
It's rewarding years later, to go through and find things that have gained
value over time, or whos value has become apparent with gained knowledge
Even some with crazy payoffs such as our SW misprints that went into the box.
As long as you've got room, why not, is the attitude.

I'd assume it's just a random sticker from somewhere else. If these parts

| Hi,
I have noticed a few of the HP dots have had the end of their name cut off, presumably
after "with groove" was removed. It's on quite a few of them.
This makes these ones unsearchable for example Deathly Hallows will not show
up because it is "Hall" instead.
Not sure if any other entries are like this I have just noticed on the dots as
I created them.

Do I need to submit name change requests to all that need fixed?
Josh

Just post here which ones need to be updated and I can fix them behind the scenes
very quickly. The one above has been fixed.
Cheers,
Randy

Thank you. I have an amazing team of fellow admins to work worth, and this site
would not be the same without all of their hard work, too. Combined, the small
lot of us get a lot accomplished. I am just the one who happens to be around
right now.

Maybe that’s because your always working
|
Just on the same continent as you. All of the other admins are in Europe and
hopefully sleeping right now.
|
True, that really helps with quick response times

That's what the change log shows. Sloppy copy and pasting.
|
No, the public form cuts off at 150 characters. The full name is pasted into
the form, straight from the list of downloaded item names.
Once the project is done, we will check all item names for this cuttoff and repair
them. Between now and then, if you see issues, feel free to correct them.
