| Everyone has a first LEGO set. weather it is a DUPLO train or a handmedown from
your older brother, every one has a memory of his or her first set. First LEGO
set was the 30013-1 Police Quad as a birthday present. I loved taking it apart
and putting it back together again and chasing invisible villains and bringing
them to justice! Then one day our dog got a hold of the police man and chewed
his head off.... Post your first LEGO set below!

| Hi everyone,
I was trying to find some information on this, but I wasn't able to find
anything, hence my question.
So I am preparing my first submission for the next round of the BLDP, and I am
aware that I should use the most recent palette (5).
My question is that as there are no printed parts in this palette (eg. the Lego
News 2x2 tile), can we still use these or are these also a no-go? Also I have
some minifigures in the set idea, but none of the torsos are included in the
palette. Can we still submit these ideas as is (while including these printed
parts), or do we have to only use very generic and one coloured torsos in our
submissions? Looking at the winners of the previous BLDPs I can see they used
printed torsos etc, but I cannot find out how to only filter to those available
in the palette. I have 'Decorated Bricks On', but still, even if I choose
a torso from there it is listed as unavailable within the selected palette once
inserted.
I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help in advance!
Regards,
Zsofia

| It appears that over the last few rounds of BDP, the designs picked all seem
to be around the themes of Medieval (inc. castles), Trains and the Seaside, sometimes
with an overlap (Medieval by the Seaside). These are beautiful but are becoming
repetitive.
Is it possible to have offerings from other themes, maybe branded themes like
Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc? I wonder what everyone else's thoughts are?

| Hi,
Does anyone know, where can I find official prices of the BDP sets? Is there
some oficial list?
Are there differences between Europe/US ?
Thanks

I am looking at the spaceship in this set and obviously it is connected to the
box that Buzz came in on Toy Story 1 and 2, but it is a spaceship here and much
larger than his box. I see other toys on Google that are also based on what
the box would look like as a spaceship, but I am not finding where Buzz was ever
depicted in a ship like that. I didn't watch Star Command, but it looks
like they fly around in big ship with the cockpit toward the back. Does someone
who watched the show know if they ever used smaller maybe fighter craft that
looked like this or is this just Lego's imagining of what the box would be?
What I am trying to establish in my mind is if this is just a secondary imagination
Toy Story set or whether it is a "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" set.
All of the other sets that came out that year depict events in one of the movies.

| A display model of a pilot boat? No, it is not flying. Read more about the pilot
boat on the link.
If you like it, I would appreciate your vote.
I am a skipper on a pilot boat myself. And i wanted a model of a pilot boat to
display on my desk. I could not find one. And beeing born in Denmark LEGO bricks
is a obvious way to build one myself.

| Hi there,
I hope someone can help me. I recently bought a bulk lot of Lego parts and I
stupidly washed them before checking them out, when laying them on a drying table
I realised there was a 2838 motor in the lot. This has been through a cycle on
my washing machine and I wanted to see if I could take it apart and make sure
it’s thoroughly dry before I attach it to a power source. Is there a way this
can be done without destroying the housing.
Thanks in advance

| Hello,
I’m new to this forum and someone suggested I post something on here since I’m
needing some help with a MOC build. I’m recreating a bouquet of mine, and the
last flower I need is a Calla Lily! I was able to find all the other flowers/greenery
but Lego hasn’t come out with something like this… yet! Could someone please
help me with the pieces, or point me in the right direction?
Thank you,
Kiara

| A year ago, on the internet, I found some very rare and unknown Lego sets: the
Lego Batman Movie Promotional Cubes.
I became very interested about their history.
They are cubic dioramas, similar to the Cubedude sets, with four or five Minifigures
inside and a small build representing a scene from the movie.
There are a few diferent designs and they were gifts from Warner, given out on
a few diferent occasions and promotions. The attached photos are examples these
cubes.
Despite many hours of reaserch, because of their rarety, I coudn't find much
info.
I am asking for ANY further information about these 2017 Lego Batman Movie Promo
Cubes.
Any information would be appreciated.
Including: photos of the Cubes or their original boxes or accessories,
any links mentioning these Cubes, old sales and their sale prices,
if someone actually owns one or saw one and indeed any other infomation.
No spam messages, please!

| Hello,
I have recently bought a bunch of used 16x32 baseplates, specifically green.
My question is simple- do old baseplates have LEGO sign under the baseplate?
The newer ones 16x32 green baseplates have this sign under the baseplate.
Have a nice day,

| I have been working on a fighter jet MOC. The overall design is done for the
most part, but I have been a bit undecided on the best look for the jet engine
nozzles at the back of the plane.
I have attached two screen grabs of the nozzles. I would like to know which set-up
people like best.

| Bionicle why have prices gone silly ?
i have just sold a collection of Bionicle sets, my question is why have prices
gone up so high on some sets ? i never brought Bionicle items before because
i did not rate it much, but now it might be worth buying some more ? does anybody
know why ? is it because Lego is not making any more, should i go for sealed
sets ? or loose lots ? maybe both ? i await to read some reply's . thank
you

can't find if that's only online or if I can buy from local LEGO stores.
$200+ worth of PAB parts would make this especially worthwhile.

| I have been all over the internet trying to find someone who can do custom minifigures
I have ideas but am not artistically good enough to put them into fruition.long
story short I am in a dnd campaign and want to get some minifigures to represent
our party members as gifts, there are 5 total, me a skeleton resembling a reaper,
my wife who is a lera moth creature, one of my friends who is an arochian (like
a minotaur) and a kitsune (small humanoid fox, as well as an angel. I want to
get these made but can't find anywhere to get the parts or create them myself
if anyone has any way I could accomplish this that would be awesome. Thank you
for any info.

| I display all my LEGO models on display stands, whether they be original sets
or MOCs. Among them is Lego set 75135 Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor. This set
is somewhat heavy toward the front and is difficult to balance on it's stand
because of that. The image below shows the stand type I currently use and an
alternate that I am attempting to design for it.
The black stand on the left is my current standard design. The red one on the
right is the alternate. The problem with the original stand design is that it
has too much flexibility in the column that supports the head. The model is too
wobbly when on the stand and can topple forward with the slightest touch.
I am thinking that I can make a sturdier stand, if I replace the technic connectors
with round 2 x 2 bricks. That should make for a stiffer support column that wouldn't
allow the model to wobble so much. The thing is with the current alternate design,
is that the model would be displayed level with the surface it is standing on.
I would like to have the model tilted upward at the front. Any ideas what I could
add at the top of the stand to give the model a slight upward tilt at it's
front?
