Before the determined entry 4532b was added to the catalog, there were only the
determined entry 4532a (called "with solid studs" ) and the entry 4532
which did not specify the version in the name, but was also not called undermined.
Since the images under 4532 showed hollow studs and the only other 4532* entry
in the catalog was 4532a with solid studs, 4532 was often considered the hollow
studs version. So if you have an inventory with 4532a and 4532, it usually means
that both versions were found in the set. However, this should still be checked
before 4532 can be replaced with 4532b.
As a start, always check the change log.
For 3179 you can see that 4532 was added as an alternate.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp?itemType=S&itemNo=3179-1&viewDate=Y&viewStatus=1
So the set was originally inventoried with 4532a (solid studs) in 2009, and then
someone found the variant with hollow studs in the set in 2012. In such a case
we can be sure that 4532 stands for 4532b (because 4532a was already in the inventory)
and no further proof is needed to replace 4532 with 4532b.
For 71006, someone found 4532a while the set was inventoried with 4532.
https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=189449
(You can see in the forum message that 4532 was just called "Container, Cupboard
2 x 3 x 2" at the time.)
It is likely that the inventory submitter had the version with hollow studs in
the set, because otherwise they probably would have used the 4532a entry, but
since 4532 was not called "with hollow studs", this must now be checked
again with an original set (Youtube, Brickshelf, ...) before 4532 can be replaced
with 4532b.
Hope that makes sense?

I’m going to see the number “4532” in my dreams
But I think I get the gist of it, but I’ll read it a few more times in the morning
when I get back to work
Thankyou for clarifying!

So
The weight of empty Canadian box: 28gr
The weight of empty European box: 18gr
The weight of Canadian complete set with box and instruction (and considering
1gr extra for a mini catalog): 76gr
The weight of European sealed set: 66gr
Please add these as additional note.
If time permits, I add photos of both boxes.

Almost every single set in the BrickLink catalog has different versions from
different regions with different packaging and different weights. It was decided
longggg ago that the site would not track this information and only display the
largest weights reported. Since you are reporting the data from a sealed European
version and not a sealed Canadian version, the European numbers will be used.
Therefore, I have updated the weight of the set to 66g and not added any additional
notes.

| Not sure if it is 'wrong'; inconvenient sure.
This is the note at the listing:
This item was marked for deletion because the set itself does not exist. Rather,
the set number is applied to a book of instructions for a super model built by
combining parts from sets 6877, 6896, and 6923. This super model can only be
built by using parts shown as alternates in the inventory of 6923, meaning the
later alternate version of that set.
As it is NOT a set that was issues by Lego but a combination of parts from 3
sets, I think it is a 'right' conclusion from the catalog admins.
Inconvenient still....

| Hello,
I think there is something wrong with how super model sets are treated in the
catalog. I use this site in many different ways and buying stuff is just one
of those ways, another way would be to look for part lists to rebrick sets and
when it comes to super sets its quite sad that you have to either look for the
parts of the main sets, which means including lots of parts you dont really need,
or just go with the instruction and ignore bricklink as a helping hand in finishing
them - which I think right now is the better way...sadly.
I recently rebricked M-Tron Secret Space Voyager
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6862-1#T=S&O={%22rpp%22:%22100%22,%22iconly%22:0}
and now i will start Blacktron II Super Vehicle
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6861-2#T=S&O={%22iconly%22:0}
I think there should be lot of other sets with the same problem. It is not very
helpful for people who want to rebrick those, it they can't access a part
list.
Greetings

There's no additional step needed, just have some patience, for there are
558 items with images pending. Stickered parts don't have the highest priority.
But it would help when a note is added in which book and on which page of the
instruction we can find it. That would save us a lot of time going through all
stickered part submissions.
While waiting, you also can have a look at the names you submitted. Both names
are missing the terms sticker, pattern and the set number.
To see examples, you can search for: pattern sticker*

Why are you not allowed to inventory it?
|
We decided some time ago that we don't accept inventories for unreleased
sets anymore, mainly because it will never be possible to check such an inventory
against the actual set contents. Moreover, BrickLink inventories should show
the contents of an original set whenever possible, and sets that don't exist
cannot have any contents.
Another problem is that the inventory system does not differentiate between released
and unreleased sets. For example, this page says the sand blue 4x4 dish came
in two sets, but that is not true as one of the two sets was not released. But
you won't notice it unless you click on that set.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=3960&colorID=55&in=A
Existing inventories for unreleased items have been grandfathered in because
members have put work into them.

Patience, young padawan.
We have mountains of work to do and not enough time to do it all, so things that
are not as important get inevitably pushed to a lower priority status. Gear items
that are rare and unlikely to have much effect in the marketplace are in those
lower tiers of priority, unfortunately. Therefore, it might be a little while

Your entries look good, but I would advise a bit more patience. There is a long
list of pending items, the admin do the best they can with the limited time they

Good catch, Josh! 👍
This tile will definitely need a proper split so that the items in stores can
be relocated to proper catalog entries. If we just renamed the current one, then
a lot of items under that entry would be wrong. Give us a bit to get to this.

site (https://www.ameet.eu/book/lego-ninjagoempire-warrior/) mentions the following
names:
- "Imperium Warrior" (on the cover)
- "Imperium Hunter" (in the description)
- "Dragon Hunter no 29" (multiple mentions inside the book, can also
be found among book pictures on publisher's site)
Parts wise:
- torso, legs, head and helmet are the same as in njo815 ("Imperium Claw
General" )
- the only difference between this minifigure and njo815 is the lack of "Black
Minifigure Armor Shoulder Pads Spiked with Stud on Back"
- a "Imperium Claw Hunter" (njo817) is already known, but has different
set of torso, legs and helmet
Please advise how to correctly add this minifigure.
Thanks in advance for your help!

You submitted these less than two weeks ago?

Your entries look good, but I would advise a bit more patience. There is a long
list of pending items, the admin do the best they can with the limited time they
have available, and new parts are generally prioritized over older or specialty
items.

| The admins will add an x to a pending number if there is a question about the
submission that they need to run down. That way they can keep approving parts
or minifigs in the series without creating a gap.
Is there a page in the book that specifically shows how this guy is built? Similar
to what you would see in regular LEGO instructions?

+1 the weight is used to figure out shipping costs not to count. If you need
to count using weight then buy a counting scale then you just need to count several
tell the scale how many and then dump in the rest until you hit the right count.
The weight in bricklink wouldn’t work even for the same part for multiple reasons
such as color, variations, year produced, plastic composition, etc so odds are
whatever one you have in stock is a different weight then the one on bricklink
as bricklink just records the heaviest version found

| IMHO, the catalog for parts and [P=92253c00pb05] is a mess.
The image for both parts seem to have Tan shoes.
If you check the minifigures that contain the two parts, the images of those
minifigures seem to me to have mixed Tan and Dark Tan shoes.
My assumption is that the version with Dark Tan shoes doesn't actually exist.
I believe it is the result of the change from single mold with print to dual
mold without print. Painting Tan on Dark Blue will seem darker than painting
Tan on a lighter colored brick. So the "Dark Tan" print may in fact very
well be Tan on Dark Blue.
Please look at the comparison images of the former part. It shows the two different
molds with two clearly different Tan colors.
I have an disappointed customer at this point, and I hope someone will look into
this. Unless someone can find a dual mold Dark Tan shoe part, I suggest merging
these to parts.

Background id that I thought that checking a delivery (or simply counting stock
of a higher number) is much more efficient by checking the weight. Then I checked
my last order which just arrived of supposed 3100 pieces but the overall weight
was 320g. So either the weight is more like 0.10322g (then als 0.11g would be
rounded wrong) or I received significantly less items.

My scale only goes to 2 decimal places. I expect this is true for most people
here. I have some at work that are much more precise, but that takes frequent
calibration or the "precision" is garbage.

I meant to add that Bricklink's system won't accept any more than 2 decimals
anyway.

Wow thats some quick and good responses for me to understand. Very much appreciated
your inputs.
Coming from a background where bigger loose metal parts were always counted on
weight in higher amounts I did not account for the impact on tiny plastic parts
for even the color and/or differences in the composition.
But then I will at least count 100 and see where this takes me from weight for
this exact color and piece (assuming the come all from the same batch of production
to at least come close to counting them with a full manual count

to parts that were in sets is a pretty good rule. You cannot reliably find Dark
Green 3022 and when one is for sale it will be an expensive 3022.
|
It’s a soft restriction. You can use any colour you want on your parts, it’s
just that:
— the part is marked as non-existant,
— there’s no price for it in Studio,
— there’s different filters that you can set to prevent using those “unknown”
colours, so you have to bypass the filters _you_ set (nothing to bypass if you
didn’t set the filters).
