Everyone has a first LEGO set. weather it is a DUPLO train or a handmedown from
your older brother, every one has a memory of his or her first set. First LEGO
set was the 30013-1 Police Quad as a birthday present. I loved taking it apart
and putting it back together again and chasing invisible villains and bringing
them to justice! Then one day our dog got a hold of the police man and chewed
his head off.... Post your first LEGO set below!

which torsos? can you post an image referring to the ones your talking about

All of the torsos for the "unique" minifigures in the cubes appear unique.
The minifigures from the movie appear to be standard. I could be mistaken and
just overlooked the torsos, however.

all of the minifigure parts look identical to other lego parts. I dont see any
that are unique to these sets. besides the cutout thing nothing in it looks to
be unique

Set No: 7593 Name: Buzz's Star Command Spaceship
*
7593-1 (Inv) Buzz's Star Command Spaceship
244 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2010
Sets: Toy Story

I am looking at the spaceship in this set and obviously it is connected to the
box that Buzz came in on Toy Story 1 and 2, but it is a spaceship here and much
larger than his box. I see other toys on Google that are also based on what
the box would look like as a spaceship, but I am not finding where Buzz was ever
depicted in a ship like that. I didn't watch Star Command, but it looks
like they fly around in big ship with the cockpit toward the back. Does someone
who watched the show know if they ever used smaller maybe fighter craft that
looked like this or is this just Lego's imagining of what the box would be?

What I am trying to establish in my mind is if this is just a secondary imagination
Toy Story set or whether it is a "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" set.
All of the other sets that came out that year depict events in one of the movies.

Creative liberty with a fun recreation of Buzz’s retail packaging as portrayed
in Toy Story 1 and 2, would be my guess. Don't know. Though I believe LEGO
didn’t start marketing the franchise until Toy Story 2, some five years after
the sensation of the first movie. Many missed that train, or were just late in
understanding the phenomenon that Steve Job’s Pixar was creating

Has it been nearly 30 years since Pixar hit the scene with their new exciting
tech, with Toy Story?! Wow! Unlike Buzz’s paper ship, time really does fly
I remember enjoying the movie, especially Tim Allen’s lines. Beyond the tech,
I feel that the personality Tim Allen gave to Buzz, really helped the film to
hit big. Never did see any of the subsequent movies or sequels though. Maybe
I should?

"To infinity and beyond!" Which puts into context "There
seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere"

Anyone else having a problem not being able to scroll down all the way on the
pop-up and see all the parts and pieces (last line).

I click on say the heads to choose, and I scroll down, but it's the last
line of heads or parts I cannot see. I try to scroll on the side to move the
whole page and the pop-up of the heads or parts disappears. I cant figure out
how to see the last line.

I'm just curious about how these custom torsos fit into the catalog and its
policies about custom prints. Thanks!

Our policy is that we do not accept them into the catalog. Easy peasy.

That would be a very short sighted approach since if the printing is being carried
out by Lego themselves then there should be no reason not to embrace them by
listing as a custom Item.

Any suspicious print designs can be verified checked with what is officially
available on the Lego site. Unofficial print designs are likely to be centered
around attempting to replicate designs from popular characters/themes and so
shouldn't be hard to spot anyway!

I didn't say anything about not allowing them to be sold as custom items.
I said they will not be accepted into the catalog. That is two very different
things.

This link isn't working for me, which is really too bad because I was looking
forward to this feature.

It didn't for me either, until I removed the two random ";" at the
end of the link to the page. Maybe that will work for you

Not sure why it changed that symbol to an emoji lol

I got it, Thanks.

Just wondering, does anyone know if there's a way to change the color of
the arms of the custom figures?
