Your overall praise rating is 98.20% which is rather low for a seller with 5825
orders.
|
Orders do not equal feedback. They have 2550 feedback of which 46 are non positive.
|
And hereby once again the argument why we need a modern kudo/appraisal/scoring/review-system.....

Have you asked Bricklink? Your listings may be removed again. They may want to
see proof of your inventory.

Maybe they have a new AI app that scans for 'frivolous' listings that's
still in learning mode ?

| Oke
XML is not supported on that page (it's stupid I know...)
You need to go here:
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/upload.page?utm_content=subnav
Copy the XML file in a texteditor
And delete the first line
Copy the entire text into the text area of this page (see pic)
Proceed following the onscreen instructions.

| Did you use a download option on the BL site?
Or from another site?
If the first: where from / what page on the site?
If the second: use BrickStore to import it and have it correct the changes automatically.
Works fine but not sure that's your problem here....

| It's Q1 again and the annual income tax review is here again ....
On the Dutch tax office website it says the following for operators like BL:
The collection and verification requirements on sellers already registered
on the platform as of 1 January 2023 [so-called "existing sellers"] must
be completed by 31 December 2024. You must report information on these sellers
by 31 January 2025.
This means for sellers already active prior to 1-1-2023, the sales data has to
be shared before 31-1-2025 and the verification data needs to be collected by
BL before 31-12-2024.
Right?
Some questions arise and I have not found the answers on the forum (tax, DAC7
etc.) or in the Terms of BL:
1) How can one check what data BL has passed onto the different national governmental
tax offices in the EU over FY2023? A company that processes personal digital
data has to provide information to these persons regarding what data was shared
with what other agencies and how this data is stored (AVG in The Netherlands).
2) When will BL start collecting the verification data (passport copies?)?
3) Is the sales value balanced with the value of purchases?
Any help is appreciated.

| I know MOST errors people report are their own fault due to changes they make.
(made some myself over the years for sure )
I know only a VERY FEW errors people report are not their own fault and DO happen....
I know that downloading an inventory CAN be helpful to find errors made by people.
Because of the merge in operation (and that will take some months I understand!)
we are forced to increase the monitoring of the inventory to CHECK nothing strange
DOES happen to the parts in store.
That's what both of you (SylvainLS and 1001bricks) suggest to do IN ORDER
to be able to PROOF it's not the users' error. That's the ridiculous
part of the response both of you add to the discussion.
And because the merging will be a process that's happening on a daily basis,
sellers are 'forced' to do these downloads and checks on a daily basis?
We are not paid to do these checks, every day. I think we pay the fees in order
NOT to be forced to do these checks on a daily basis.....

| "... that sellers still don't download their Inventory XML everyday and
use
BrickStore to compare or restore any problem."
Seriously?
Do you really say that this is what's required to maintain a correct inventory
on BL these days?
That's the equivalent of checking every aisle in a grocery store after closing
time.
Every day.
Again.
All day's.
....
If this is true, the database and the way it handles orders and other changes
is even more gone astray than I could imagine....

| Progress is not always for the better.
This is one of those cases where it seems an improvement (technically) what in
real life generates more paperwork so less people will be connected to each other
and the administration world takes control of the real world. The effect: Norwegians
will buy local only. Here's your "..... first!" at play in another
part of the world.
So sad if technocrates decide about processes they seem to refuse to comprehend
and demand non-technocrates to follow and stand in line.
(And no: this is NOT about fair taxing etc. This about a completelly different
issue: an over-controlled government that tries to catch small fishes so the
sharks can grow bigger).

Thanks for that reflection. However an old problem felt as new is still a felt
problem.
If it never has been felt as a problem, and now it does, it doesn't make
it a lesser problem.
Even if the 'age' of the problem is several decades, it doesn't make
the effect felt less.

| Uploading the original XML's will default into the same errors you reported.
Downloading the XML's NOW from Rebrickable, fixes this .
Apparently there's a realtime check when the XML's are generated. That's
nice.
So you need to re-download your XMLS .
Opening old XML's in BrickStore will start a migration from the old to the
new ID's (see pic).
Crap, a big list to update this weekend.....

| Does this mean ALL XML's for example at Rebrickable are affected by the merger
too?
I got hundreds of these file in my collection.
And only a manual update will do the trick.... I feared the merge operation when
it was announced, but this is plain stupid!
Many will be affected, collectors, sellers, buyers, all. At places we never been
notified of beforehand.
