  Hi
Had a package returned by bpost belgium with a CN 15 label arked duties/vat
payment notice expired. This was originally sent on 8th feb. I have been shipping
to eu now for 6 months and have experienced lengthy delays through eu customs
but never had anyone returned for this reason before. To my knowledge the address
was correct as was the CN22 and the BrickLink vat receipt. So I believe this
is due to an eu customs error. Has any other sellers experienced anything similar?

Hi
How heavy was the parcel and how much was the invoice amount?

  Good afternoon everyone,

Quite new with all the catalog requests:
I added three new rare pieces I would like to sell. It's been quite a while
now and nothing has happened.

Is there a way to ask someone kindly to proceed with the upload?
I cannot sell these beautiful cloth patches until someone uploaded the items.

Greetings.
Barthon

You can sell it as custom.

The variants with and without groove seem to have merged.

The tile's where not on the list for merging?

They haven't been merged there are still separate entries for normal (with
groove) and without groove.

Part No: 3070 Name: Tile 1 x 1
*
3070 Tile 1 x 1
Parts: Tile

Part No: 3070a Name: Tile 1 x 1 without Groove
*
3070a Tile 1 x 1 without Groove
Parts: Tile

Part No: 3069 Name: Tile 1 x 2
*
3069 Tile 1 x 2
Parts: Tile

Part No: 3069a Name: Tile 1 x 2 without Groove
*
3069a Tile 1 x 2 without Groove
Parts: Tile

They have been renamed to remove the "with groove" from the modern part
(well, 40 years old, but non-vintage part), and also renumbered from 3069b to
3069 and so on, so that the BL number correctly references the number that has
been used for about four decades and is not influenced by a part that hasn't
been produced for almost half a century.

3070a should actually be 3070 and 3070 should be 3070a. The same with 3069/3069a.
3070a has been around since 1965, 3070 only since 1972. 3 letters would also
be saved.
But what can you ask of the catalogue administrators in the meantime...

please help, I'm quite new here.

I listed wrong version of an item and notice it right before sending it to buyer.
I offer that item for free but the other version is not needed by buyer so I
need to do my first refund as a seller.

I see there is "issue refund" in order field but it says there is technical
problem and I can't proccess the payment. I could do refund on PayPal but
theres less money cause of the fees.

Please anyone can help what to do? I already made support ticket but I don't
want to let the buyer wait for her money because of my mistake. Maybe anyone
here experienced the same issue before?

Thank you so much!

If you go to "buy" on your wanted list, you can exclude dislike stores.

In Buying, Aranruth writes:
  Hi everyone,

I keep fumbling on a theoretically easy-to-solve thing, but apparently it's
beyond my capabilities.

I have a want-list I'd like to convert in bricks. Every time I go to the
Easy Buy button, I'm prompted to a Thailand shop as supplier. Nothing against
Thailand, and the shop has a lot of good feedback, but it's absolutely not
practical (I'm in Italy and customs and shipping will kill me). So, I thought
there should be a way to let's say buy from the European Union, but apparently
it's not working.

This is what I did:

- opened the want list
- clicked on more options
- then from the dropdown menu, I checked in the rightmost column, under region,
ship from European Union (both as "Hide" and "Show", whatever
they mean)
- clicked apply
- moved out of the want list to the main page where all my want-lists are
- clicked on Easy Buy
- and voilà, Thailand shop returned

Can anyone kindly point me at the mistakes that I might have been making?

Thanks in advance

This week I came into the possession of a "Baseplate 10 x 48 with Train Ferry
Set 343 Stud Pattern" (911) with length 47. As visible in the photograph,
it misses a row of studs on one side (left side in the first picture). The person
who sold this to me claims it is original and from his own collection. Is this
a known variant of this part? Has anyone ever seen this before?

The second picture shows that the discoloration on the short edge of the plate
is the same as all around, which would indicate that the plate has not recently
been cut.
I guess it's not impossible but it seems very strange to me that this baseplate
would have been sold one stud too short.

The base plate has been shortened.

Nobody can help you get the money back from Bricklink. Bricklink refuses any
repayment! Try the seller or your carrier.

Good luck!

In Administrative, CE_Anastasia writes:
  Dear BrickLink members,

This week we plan to deploy a tax solution for Norway Value Added Tax (VAT).
This change will be affecting sellers and buyers in Norway as well as all sellers
who are selling to this country.

Here is a summary of changes to come:

1. For orders that are imported into Norway, where the value of each individual
item is less than NOK 3,000, VAT will be collected and remitted by BrickLink.
2. Sellers must have at least one on-site payment method available in their store
to process all orders where tax is collected by BrickLink.
3. Starting with the upcoming January 5th billing cycle, Norway sellers will
have VAT applied to their seller fees.
4. Registered business sellers in Norway will now have the option to add their
registration information in their store settings. For these sellers, VAT will
not be added to their monthly fees.

For more details, please see our new help page: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2616
Additionally, will be sending out emails to all affected members.

Thank you,
The BrickLink Team

id number for GST generated by bricklink is important? Did someone have similar
situation? Thanks for any help 😊

Hi,

1. if he paid with Paypal, only send it to the address stored with Paypal. Otherwise
you will lose your seller protection.
2. as long as the changed address remains within a state or, as in the USA for
example, within a federal state, it does not matter. If this is not the case,
the taxes / duties may have been calculated incorrectly. That would then be tax
fraud.

Wann und wo hast du etwas bestellt? Was hast du bisher unternommen?

The potential buyer must go through the entire purchase process. At the last
payment step, he is given the option to ask for a quote. But only if the seller
has provided for this in his terms and conditions of sale.

  Hi there,

I have sent an order with both of us giving each other positive feedback. I have
not been able to mark it as completed (and neither can the buyer) and it's
driving us both bananas.

I have reached out multiple times to Bricklink support but have yet to receive
an answer. I do believe it's because the buyer didn't pay onsite (and
I didn't realize it before now - I received the PayPal notification and off
it went).

I'm more than happy to pay tax, etc. Anyone have any advice? Things I've
tried.

- Cycling through all the statuses allowed and pressing submit after each one
- Separate order payment status from order status (shows as "None" for
the buyer)

Any other ideas?

Thanks all!

I would ask Bricklink where you can pay the tax.

Rather than merging everything into one category, could we instead use the part#
and part#old nomenclature. Notes do not carry over to the price guide, so at

That shouldn't make any difference for Lego/Bricklink either.

This site is degenerating more and more into a random site. If you don't
care what part variants there are and where they were used, you might as well
use the inventory lists of the LEGO sets. That would be much quicker.
Then it won't make any difference what color a part is as long as it looks
similar to the original.
