RandyF changed it just moments before you posted.

Then why doesn't that show up in the change log for the part?

When things are adjusted behind the scenes on catalog entries, they are not recorded
in public logs.

All of it started fairly shortly after all of the extremely unpopular part merges
started to actually occur. I have a strong feeling that a user here that was
very upset about the decisions made is having some "fun" at BrickLink's
expense.

And judging from the people who are receiving phishing emails (e.g I'm not),
the phisher is probably part of an online BrickLink group somewhere else (Facebook?
Discord?) that all of you are also part of or maybe they ordered from all of
the phishees in the past and already have all of your contact information to
use.

Set No: 4822 Name: Princess' Bedroom
*
4822-1 (Inv) Princess' Bedroom
12 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 2005
Sets: DUPLO: Princess Castle

* Add 1 Part 31368pb01 Magenta Duplo, Doll Furniture Bed Small with Bright Pink Heart with Gold Crown Pattern (Sticker) - Set 4822 (Counterpart)

Comments from Submitter:
Wait for colour approval on part 31368pb01

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by this message. Please explain.

I see no reason not to accept this change at this point. The part color and sticker
are right.

/Jan

Actually, there are no instructions for this set, so the only thing that shows
stickers is the packaging and set images. On that packaging and in the set images,
it shows the small heart sticker with crown used on the bed, not the large heart
sticker with crown. Therefore, this part should be marked for deletion since
there is no basis for it having an entry. Basically, the stickers in this set
were meant to be used however the builder saw fit to use them.

Cheers,
Randy

Oh, there are two heart stickers? I didn't realize because the photo of the
sticker sheet is of an incomplete sheet with that large sticker missing. Thanks
for noticing.

/Jan

The sticker sheet should probably be marked for deletion.
How did a sheet missing stickers get past the admins?

There is no need to mark a sticker sheet entry for deletion unless it always
had more than one version listed under one entry and needs to be split. All of
the information necessary to list a sticker sheet properly is in the item name.

Some sticker sheets are not easy to get ahold of to get a new image, so the catalog
uses what image it can get. There have been a number of sticker sheets in the
catalog over time that did not have complete sticker sheets in the image or no
image at all, but quite a few have been replaced or added over time. Maybe one
day, this one will, too.

Cheers,
Randy

  Hello,

I ask for your help because I am stuck in a grotesque situation.

A person who just signed up to bricklink was unable to read the description for
item 5306bc069
Black Electric, Wire with Brick 2 x 2 x 2/3 Pair, 69 Studs

He said that since it's depicted as "PAIR" I should have sent two.
He left me a negative feedback and expected me to send a second for free.

I tried to explain that he was totally wrong and that you do not leave a hasty
feedback this way, to no avail.

So I wrote to BL for feedback removal, and they denied it.
The user wanted me to refund, so I asked him to send me the part, and I would
have refunded him.

He shipped, and in the proof of shipping I saw that he mispelled my surname,
thus when the package came, the postman found no one with the misspelled surname
and the package came back.

Now, when the package comes a second time I will:

- Have lost a lot of time behind this user, and money also.
- gained a negative feedback that is totally unfair and the administrarion refuses
to remove

Is this so easy for a newcomer to ruin the feedback ratio of a 14 years history
bricklink shop? I'm not worried about the single negative, but about the
power that is given to people unable to understand totally what they are doing.

5306bc069 Electric, Wire with Brick 2 x 2 x 2/3 Ends 69L
Parts: Electric, Wire & Connector

I have updated the names for all 5306* wires to not include the word "pair"
in them. Please point the buyer to this thread if they need more information.

Cheers,
Randy

Thanks, still I have a negative for no reasons, as the picture depicted the correct
item...

That's why I said to point the buyer to this thread. Then maybe we can better
explain the situation and why they are incorrect in their interpretation of the
item. I am hopeful that it would give them the push needed to remove the negative
feedback.

Noob (and probably silly) question but if I buy a set new, then part it out and
sell it on BL is it ok that the parts won’t be in original packaging? It will
just be individually wrapped and in new condition (never used as it went straight
from the original packaging into a seperate bag).
Thanks!

Yes, that is how it is done.

Three, but who's counting.

It is probably the only time that Liberia and Myanmar will be used in the same
sentence as the United States.

Awesome thanks. What are pounds?

  In Help, RebelliousBrick writes:
  Hi all,

This question comes up often on the facebook group "BrickLink Worldwide Buyers
and Sellers"

Can minifigures be sold as new when they are assembled?

On the help page for "item for sale condition" (https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=102)
it states the fololowing:

New Minifigures - Minifigures are brand new, taken directly from new sets
or purchased as new in another form such as accessory packs or Pick A Brick and
have been handled only for sorting. Minifigures may be listed as new either assembled
or unassembled.

There are 2 ways that people read this:
1. Minifigures can be assembled and still be sold as new as long as the part
comes straight from the package.
2. Minifigures must be unassembled unless they come assembled from the factory.

What is the correct way to interpret this 1 or 2?

1

In case 1 is correct what is stopping people from selling minifigures that have
been displayed for a few years as new?

Being displayed for years is _not_ "have been handled only for sorting".

If number 2 is correct than the help page should be rewritten so there would
be no more confusion.

PS. @Admin, I am not sure if I put it in the correct topic so feel free to move
it if necessary.

And how is assembling "only handled for sorting"?

It isn't, which is why the guideline is contradictory in its own right. It
is a relic from the past that should probably be better defined at this point.
However, that is the current definition and the way it is currently interpreted
by BrickLink.
