Hi there,
I hope someone can help me. I recently bought a bulk lot of Lego parts and I
stupidly washed them before checking them out, when laying them on a drying table
I realised there was a 2838 motor in the lot. This has been through a cycle on
my washing machine and I wanted to see if I could take it apart and make sure
it’s thoroughly dry before I attach it to a power source. Is there a way this
can be done without destroying the housing.
Thanks in advance

A year ago, on the internet, I found some very rare and unknown Lego sets: the
Lego Batman Movie Promotional Cubes.
I became very interested about their history.

They are cubic dioramas, similar to the Cubedude sets, with four or five Minifigures
inside and a small build representing a scene from the movie.
There are a few diferent designs and they were gifts from Warner, given out on
a few diferent occasions and promotions. The attached photos are examples these
cubes.

Despite many hours of reaserch, because of their rarety, I coudn't find much
info.

I am asking for ANY further information about these 2017 Lego Batman Movie Promo
Cubes.

Any information would be appreciated.
Including: photos of the Cubes or their original boxes or accessories,
any links mentioning these Cubes, old sales and their sale prices,
if someone actually owns one or saw one and indeed any other infomation.

No spam messages, please!

Hello,
I have recently bought a bunch of used 16x32 baseplates, specifically green.
My question is simple- do old baseplates have LEGO sign under the baseplate?
The newer ones 16x32 green baseplates have this sign under the baseplate.
Have a nice day,
Christian

Bionicle why have prices gone silly ?

i have just sold a collection of Bionicle sets, my question is why have prices
gone up so high on some sets ? i never brought Bionicle items before because
i did not rate it much, but now it might be worth buying some more ? does anybody
know why ? is it because Lego is not making any more, should i go for sealed
sets ? or loose lots ? maybe both ? i await to read some reply's . thank
you

I recently purchased a box of mixed Lego and think I found a gem. According to
Brick Monkey it's the real deal but I'm looking for some help.

I have been all over the internet trying to find someone who can do custom minifigures
I have ideas but am not artistically good enough to put them into fruition.long
story short I am in a dnd campaign and want to get some minifigures to represent
our party members as gifts, there are 5 total, me a skeleton resembling a reaper,
my wife who is a lera moth creature, one of my friends who is an arochian (like
a minotaur) and a kitsune (small humanoid fox, as well as an angel. I want to
get these made but can't find anywhere to get the parts or create them myself
if anyone has any way I could accomplish this that would be awesome. Thank you
for any info.

Lego 42009 is designated MKII, and 42055 is designated MKIII, but I was wondering
what MKI is, if it even ever existed?

I love the wildlife that has been released in the past few years, I just wish
that we could have more.
I would love to see a more realistic fox, a badger and a beaver. The beaver could
easily be adapted from the Friends rabbit, I have done a crude MOC to show how
easy it would be!

Hi there!

I'll share with you how I was able to make The Orient Express Train (21344)
move through the Studgate Station (910002) by adjusting the height of the stairs
leading to the terrace.

You'll need the following parts:
10 Black Plate 1 x 2
4 Black Plate 1 x 4
4 Black Plate 1 x 1
6 Black Plate, Round 1 x 1

You can see how to assemble parts on attached pictures (I used coloured parts).
You have to rotate the Black Plate 2 x 4 below the upper stair.

Feel free to share how you achieved this or how it can be improved.

My train is leaving. Bye!

Hello

I have been offered an old set the owner knows nothing about and the only image
I have got is the one below.

They say it is an old Schools Technic set. I dont know if this means its "old
school" or was called a schools set.

Hopefully someone will recognize the very specific box it comes in.

Thanks for your help.

Hello

I Have just gone threw a bulk purchase and found one blue brick made of a hard
rubber.
It has the lego logo on all the studs but no holes underneath to stack, it is
solid.
It is also slightly undersized.

Is this a genuine thing from somewhere?

Cheers

Hope this doesn't come across as strange but...

What can you share with me about

Set No: 910001 Name: Castle in the Forest
*
910001-1 (Inv) Castle in the Forest
1928 Parts, 6 Minifigures, 1 Gear, 2021
Sets: BrickLink Designer Program
My daughter who just received the set as a Lego Employee Christmas gift, asked
me about it. I sheepishly told her I know nothing about the "BrickLink Designer
Program" sets. Never did paid attention to the program since launched in
2019, I'm ashamed to say

I appreciate all/any input, which I might pass onto her. Thanks

Someone on another forum claimed that (despite what Brickset, Bricklink and Rebrickable
list it as) that Rock Raiders is actually a space theme and cited this from the
Rock Raiders video game:
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/941768359471624293/1187624923238236252/image.png?ex=659790e6&is=65851be6&hm=04f150db837a2b538a2e21db0be740b526f3350ce35fe26511de0d700883363b&

So is Rock Raiders a space theme or not?

Ok I know it's a joke.
But the front box of 6702 minifigure pack shows a black spaceman but his classic
space torso get blocked by utensil camera
So maybe......
Sp068 stickered black classic spaceman has 0.000001 chance exist???

I'm guessing there are some people pretty excited for the new space sets
coming in January. I'm actually somewhat impressed with some of them, and
I don't usually care for space sets.

There is clearly a reluctant to relaunch the Space theme. Maybe because of Star
Wars?

But Technic, City, Creator, and even Friends are doing some Space next year.

City has done a couple forays into Space and even used the Classic Space logo
in the last few years, but kept it where it looked roughly modern or near future,
so I bought into the idea. We have astronauts today, though the City stuff has
been a little advanced beyond us.

I am not sure I can link it here because LEGO hasn't officially announced,
but a retailer put out pictures of next year's City Space stuff and it is
SPACE. It is distant future, I would say out past Futuron. To me it really
looks like the first direct successor to Futuron. Why can they not call this
Space?

Is there no logo on 4589 (cone 1x1 - no groove)? I can't find it on any of
the items I'm about to load to the store. It's easy to find on 4589b
(with groove).

Does anyone know of System sets that don't have anything smaller than 2x2?
I've used 1x2 before but I have a hard time manipulating them so I'd
rather avoid those. I already have several Duplo sets which I can definitely
do independently with my dominant hand (due to hemiplegia, with my non-dominant
hand I can only use Primo and possibly Quatro if I had any of those, assuming
they similar in size, although since Primo was intended for literal newborns
it was designed to be able to hold with reflexive grasping/minimal purposeful
use of hands, Primo is likely the easiest to hold), but I want to see what System
sets are within my ability. I love the little animals that come in the Friends
sets but they're so tiny that I struggle to pick them up.
At the same time, I most enjoy the Primo pieces designed for sensory development
that make gentle noise and/or have textures, and the cartoon characters that
appear in Duplo and non-Lego brands for equivalent age range (I have figures
from my favorite show Blue's Clues, but they were only made for a different
brand. The Josh (new host) figure looks like a Duplo minifigure but a little
taller) are what I find appealing. According to the age ranges listed on the
boxes of these sets that I find easy enough to work with independently and have
the characters that I like (Primo aka Baby
Quatro 1-3 years, Duplo 18 months - 5 years, other brands list similar age range
as Duplo), would that technically make me a toddler? Although with the recent
Lego Life magazine I got at the store, I was able to do the Morse Code puzzle
without having to refer to the provided chart (I already use Morse Code to type
on my mobile).

I am considering buying some of the keychain lights.
However, I only want to buy them if they are small enough to ride a train, that
Fabuland characters fit in.

Hello,

I have one part left to finish but the directions confuse me. Step 12 shows a

I have quite a few old wire and connector parts that the wire covering is in
various stages of degrading. I was hoping to repair the wire with a new part
and then list them for sale in an undamaged state.

Would this be violating Bricklink's terms since the wire is no longer an
"official Lego" product? I would certainly include in the listing that
the wire has been repaired with alternatively sourced wire.

Anyone ever try and sell these? Not even sure how to pack them but they are
a cool LEGO item from 2007. 4520516 is the LEGO item number on them.

Thanks for any advise!

I wanted to post here to see how many other LEGO fans have felt similar frustration
and confusion about LEGO's own cultural stance to printing yellow only minifigures
for their non-IP sets (ICONS, City, Winter sets etc, etc).

For those of you who are already on-board with this, I'll link a great article
I found that excellently argues this point and cites its sources:

https://womensbrickinitiative.com/diverse-lego-minifigure-petition/

For those fans who haven't put much thought into this or are opposed to diversifying
the LEGO minifigure population, I'd urge you to read the above article. It's
well-written and researched, and says everything that needs to be said on this
topic.

In short, I don't at all agree with LEGO's staunch position on "yellow"
washing its minifigs that don't represent a certain IP. Their argument (as
quoted in the above article) that yellow is "race-neutral" is insulting,
as only light-skinned people can truly relate to that tone of color.

I'm personally interested in buying my first modular sets, but I also know
that I will have to spend money to swap out the heads, arms and some torsos to
make it representative of the world I live in, and the people I know.

I strongly believe that LEGO needs to do better, swallow its pride and discontinue
yellow minifigures. They're boring and lazy anyway.

I love LEGO and will be a lifelong fan. I just wish the brand matured with the
times quicker, and embraced cultural diversity.

I was looking for this set (2093) for a long time. I managed to get both a sealed
and loose one (the loose one I got more recently). I'm so happy that I have
both one for display and one to play with!

i noticed many pieces that are lacking images and set listings and one of them
is the toa mata foot, it comes in two styles, the ball socket will have rounded
tops and the other has square tops. the rounded version has no image and ho set
listing but the square version does. every seller has the same set up with parts
in order and color but yet this foot piece and who knows how many more is lacking
is missing info
also i find it weird theres two color selections when only one offers the only
available colors

My son (9) is interested in getting some power into his MOC's (e.g. open
and close doors, lifting things up, move heads or legs of any creatures he makes).
He uses the program Scratch now and than and we saw you can use Scratch on Lego
as well. But how to, I'm not sure.

I'm just not sure if you need any of the Lego sets (like Boost or Mindstorms)
to use Scratch or if you could just buy an motor set (and which one???) and build
your own things.
It looks like many of the powerd sets ar either cars of robots and he's not
interested in those sets, but he is interested in powering up his Lego.

Also I'm a little confused about which power source to use. There is Boost,
Powered Up, Function, mindstorms. Which one to choose?

Is there someone who can help us with this? I've been looking on the internet,
but I'm still not sure what to choose.

I'm not very good ad technics myself...I just happen to have a son who is

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I have this one. (on the right, the other one is how it is supposed to look)
Looks like they ran out of black ink. Could be used for a zombie head.

Hello all

Just going through a job lot of vintage sealed sets I picked up recently and
came across these two sets - 150 & 156.

Both seem to be the same type of set - 4.5v Straight rails, the only difference
is the year of manufacture.

Just seems odd Lego would re-number a set?

Any ideas why?

Regards

Mark

Hey everyone. Just recently got and assembled Lego City street skatepark 60364,
and read the instruction for this piece. The picture says to use the scooter
handle (needed else where in the set, and there's no extra ones) to remove
the tile if needed.
The set also did not come with any type of separator. Is Lego starting not to
include separators?

This is not the first time I have had questions about newer sets, over the last
several years, it seems Lego has been finding many little ways to save money,
things that they would not even want you to do for building for a designer program.
For instance, the Lego creator ramen shop has steps requiring you to use more
than one piece for a length that could be covered in one piece and not for design
(example using two 1x2 instead of a 1x4). Are they just trying to add pieces
to the set piece count? Also, lego seems to be using bigger wall pieces instead
of giving you the bricks to build the wall, and quite frankly I like to build
walls for most builds rather than use what my siblings and I call "cheat
codes".

I'm a loving fan of lego, but I really think they're starting to give
less for the money. Does anyone else feel this way?

Aren’t these so cool! They are super junky looking, and I thought they were crappy
knock-offs. Turns out they are really old Lego. Does anybody know how old they
are? Thanks 😊

Can someone help me with figure out how the guy in this video modded the train?

https://youtu.be/umFZekC4mOw?feature=shared

Would love to buy the train and get it running as well. I own a lot of 2001-2002
HP sets and want a train to use as a Pokemon go egg hatcher so why not kill two
birds with one stone? Problem is am not an experienced with the pieces required
to get a train running. Stuck on how he got wheels that can turn. But also don’t
know anything about Lego motors.

Why are the new LEGO instruction manuals soooooooooo boring! Especially Star
Wars. I remember when they were awesome and had the box art on the front, now
they look like and Amazon listing with a colorless white background. : (

Starting a short while ago, we began receiving consistent orders containing a
certain part that otherwise had sat in our inventory without movement since we
parted-out the Viking sets some 15 years ago.

Part No: 41670 Name: Bionicle Ball Joint 4 x 4 x 2 90 degrees with 2 Ball Joint and Axle Hole
*
41670 Bionicle Ball Joint 4 x 4 x 2 90 degrees with 2 Ball Joint and Axle Hole
Parts: BIONICLE {Dark Blue}
I’ve always tried to stay current with the secondary LEGO market in part by using
our sales and as orders are processed. First, by recognizing patterns in our
orders received, to then taking a brief moment to dig into the item/s' availability,
origins, etc... Nowadays, it’s more out of curiosity that I spend any time looking...

If you don't mind, a couple of questions for what in my experience is
an amazing Bionicle knowledge base here on BL:

~ Why are they selling now after so many years of dormancy, and why are
folks willing to pay such a premium for the Dark Blue color?

~ Explanation for the current value of the 'other' set wherein
Dark Blue is found

Set No: 8940 Name: Karzahni
*
8940-1 (Inv) Karzahni

Just curious

-Thanks

I noticed that there isn't a Thrawn Minifigure in the recent Ahsoka LEGO
sets, which is a great injustice. I was really hoping to get one since the first
and only one was released in 2017 for the Rebels line and is worth like 80 dollars
now. : (

I just wanted to know if we can expect a new Grand Admiral Thrawn Minifigure
soon, if anyone has any insight on it, thanks! : )
