In Help, collectabrick writes:
Hi all, on the 4th March my store was suspended for receiving 3+ NSS Alerts at
one given time. I have resolved these in the past few days, but the last 2 I
have open are from a while ago now where they have been laying dormant as a result
of the buyers longer responding to the case after receiving their items / refunds.

I submitted a ticket to the Help Desk, the same day of suspension (4th March),
for these 2 cases showing the proof for either the refund or delivery, but I
haven't received a confirmation email or anything of that nature to show
any progress towards them.

Wanted to know if there was a way to escalate this, or any other steps I can
do to get these cases closed. I am still messaging the buyers frequently but,
judging from their feedback, they look to be inactive from BrickLink nowadays.
My total NSS count is still below 3 now (2), so is there a possibility of a reinstatement
of my selling privileges?

Any help/advice is appreciated, thanks.

Be patient, the helpdesk has a backlog of a few weeks.

Issue with Updating Wanted List with a comment in Remark Field

These are existing lists where the only thing I'm editing is the remark field.

When I try to save the new remark, I receive the message, "Only one item/color
combination is allowed per Wanted List".

Note that I did not violate that limitation.

I created a test Wanted List with just one part. I attempted to add a remark
and I received the message "Only one item/color combination is allowed per
Wanted List". This error message in this instance does not make sense, as
I only have one part in wanted list. Please refer to attachment for test results.

A week after opening the NSS should be enough time to respond en solve the issue.

  Hello,

I hope somebody can help me with an order that has been paid by onsite payment.
I got Bricklink mail that the order is paid and the 'Payment status'
is 'Pending'.

The is no money in my Paypal account.
The seller wants me to cancel the order, because there is something wrong with
the payment. Not telling me what.

What is happening with such a payment and what is the smart thing to do?
- Cancel a paid order myself. (is it possible?)
- Let the buyer cancel this order. (is it possible?)
- File an NPB. (is it possible?)

Anybody has good advice for me? Never had this before.

Maybe an E-check. The buyer should cancel the payment on his side.
Then you can cancel the order. Or cancel the order by using the NPB process if
you want to be protected against any feedback. The buyer can choose the option
to cancel and accept the penalty.

That way we won't have to send a bunch of pictures to people, with whom we
want to trade etc.

You can download your wantlists and send the file.

In Help, tab.toyshop writes:
  Dear all,

My store has been suspended due to 3 NSS:

First one the order contains some minifigure torso and we mistakenly listed as
new when there is little dent on the torsos. When buyer questioned about this
problem, we agreed to fully refunded without the buyer having to shipped us back
the LEGO, so they have the LEGO for free. However, after 2-3 months of refunding
this, buyer didn't remove the NSS until I ask a Netherland friend to call
him directly by phone that he finally removed the NSS.

The 2nd order is with a missing item in an order, which we have fully refunded
the missing parts and buyer has already removed the NSS.

The 3rd order is ridiculous. We were discussing the orders with the buyer, and
all of a sudden the buyer said we did not issue invoice in time, so he left negative
feedback and initiate NSS. We didn't even receive a single cent from buyer.

Always respond to the NSS in the comments section of the NSS.

And because these 3 NSS were once active at the same time, our store has been
suspended.

Three NSS have to be completed to close a store.
Three pending NSS doesn't close a store.

We tried to contact admin for over 5-6 times over the past 2-3 weeks but there
is zero reply from them.

Current backlog is a few weeks.

Could anyone kindly let us know how we can have our store re-opened?

Thank you so much all all of your help!

Cheers,
Vincent

If you want to revisit a store you've previously ordered from and you click
on My BL--Orders to get to your Orders Placed page. you cannot directly
access the store. You have to click on the feedback rating of the store, and
then from the resulting feedback page you can click on a link that takes you
to the store.

Since the Orders Placed page already lists the name of each store next to its
feedback rating, can that store name be made clickable so it takes you directly
to the store?

Thanks!

Also Ideal and other payment methods are not accepted at lego themselves.
So i do suspect getting even small changes done has to go through so many corporate

That makes the process most likely very slow..

Well i figured if one seller with forum spams can accumulate into a actual change

I do hope this wont have to go to an day 365 or beyond asking for ideal and other
payment methods for stripe though..

See ya tomorrow

Asking every day for something might work for kids, it doesn't work for adults.😉

There are some Dutch stores which offer Ideal through Stripe.

Apparently they use a program called Bricqer and can invoice with a link to pay
by IDEAL, Bancontact, SOFORT banking, Giropay, EPS, Przelewy24.

  In Help, SDF_Bricks writes:
I had a 'would-be' buyer who had me jump through hoops to describe a
couple of sets, take pictures, and many other things. In the end, he did not
even reply to my follow-up emails, nor acknowledge receipt of the pictures.

Not sure how this helps you but:
On behalf of that buyer, I acknowledge receipt of the pictures and express my
gratitude.

  Needless
to say, this is NOT a desirable buyer.

Who is a desirable buyer? The guy who just pays and leaves a positive feedback?

How do I block such individual?

What a seller should learn is why a buyer wants photos and when and where to
take photos.
Many times, it does not make sense to take photos:
- a used set of 200 pieces. The description "parts in good condition"
should be enough in most cases. You cannot take photos of all parts from all
angles. But some times, one photo of printed parts or stickers would do the job
and help buyer trust the condition and your description.
Sometime newbies don't know that if a couple of items are in bad condition
or missing, I still send them. So I aknowledge in my response "if a mistake
happen and there is any missing or broken part, I will send you missing parts".
In some cases, they committed to buy even though I did not send any photo (I
remember once this happen for used set 928).

- when it comes with the condition of box and instructions, it totally makes
sense for a buyer to want to see photos. They are paying more to buy the set
with box, so they have to see photos beforehand.

Despite what other people said, between 25-50% of times, the users who request
photos commit to buy from me.

I suggest you focus on learning and understanding buyers' needs, rather than
stop-listing some users for such reasons.

Thank you for the wisdom. However, in this modern day and age, it's very
easy to 'acknowledge' receipt of the pictures and say 'Thank You".
It costs absolutely nothing. I am not concerned about the lost sale, as this
hobby is NOT my livelihood. It is the wasted time as, in addition to taking pics,
I invested time in checking inventory, sorting parts, ... etc

You probably can use the pictures in the future.

  Hello there!

I live in Germany and on december 8th 2023 i bought something from a seller in
the Netherlands.

on december 18th i get the following message:

from: *censored* Sent on: Dec 18, 2023 10:04
It was shipped last week but I forgot to set it on shipped.

Track & trace-code
3SKABAcensored

A day later i check the trace link and the Name in the adress field only has
my first name in it (see picture) I immediately contact the seller and ask him
to contakt PostNl to have them fix the adress. Hey replys with "That is something
PostNL did, not me. But I send them a message."

The name doesn't matter. The postal code has to be correct.

Then nothing happens until January 2nd the trace link updates to "delivery
failed" without any delivery atempt or a message in my post box to go get
the package at my lokal post office or something.

I contact seller again. For the next 24 days he asures me to contact posnl and
have them investigate where the package is because as u can see in the immage
it took post nl a while to sort everythin out. On January 26th seller contacts
me the package has arrived at his place again. And a big white sticker was covering
the rest of my name but for 12,50€ he would resend it to me.

Here my question: do i have to pay again for shipping?
If we cancel the order: can i only get back what i payed w/o shipping fee?

He states that in his Terms he stats "shipping on your risk" is that
even legal here on bricklink? afaik seller takes shipping risks.
What should i do now?

thanks a lot!
Leo

Resending is for the buyer.
If you want to cancel the order the seller also has to refund postage.

Hi all, just wondering what everyone does if they have a piece with no packaging
dimensions in the catalogue that has been purchased and the postage that was
paid isn't enough to pay for the postage of the piece?
In this particular order, the piece is $14 and postage is $10 so I'm still
making money on the order, just wondering if there is a general rule of thumb
for this sort of thing.
I hope that makes sense.

Items without dimension are instant checkout excluded.
Add a manual invoice shipping method for those items.

I am concerned with the fact that the buyer opened the NSS even though his order

simply stated that I did not send the order), I can provide all the documents
about shipping and delivery (which I did via the helpdesk). I already sent it
2 weeks ago, unfortunately no one is responding, so I've been doing it every
day for the last week and still nothing, no response from the administrators.
How should I defend myself against theft when there are no admins?

thanks for any advice

Always reply in the comment section of the NSS complaint so it can't be completed.
Admin can remove it if you've sent all documents.

From the way its worded it looks like you have to have 3 orders cancelled or
can you get your selling privileges revoked just with 3 NSS filed against you.
Does anyone know how this works or went through this problem.

Both buyers should cancel their open NSS complaint.

  Dear all,

In the last few months, we received 2 requests from buyers requesting us to fill
in the customs form with the total price much below the total cost to avoid paying
taxes in their countries (bigbao and lycaneart). Worst, they requested us to
commit fraud in our own country.

Those orders were canceled, so we lost 15 euros to PayPal fees.

If this happens again, we are thinking of not replying to the buyer about their
request and just sending the order with the customs form filled in correctly.
What do you think?

Don't you agree that the Bricklink Team could include a message in the newsletters
reinforcing the message that this kind of request is totally illegal everywhere
in the world, and it is not a special request from the stores (if they have that
information in terms of service)?

It's against the TOS, which we all agreed to.

In your shipping methods enter a % under "Apply weight margin" for packaging

It is quite frustrating to be presented with a list of 20 stores only to find

amount (which is often very high e.g. $1,000).

nonstop about their order. The item was delivered in September, and they've
made fraudulent claim after fraudulent claim about the order. Yesterday, they
issued an NSS about the item, even though it was delivered, and they've even
sent me pictures after it was delivered.

I can't do anything besides post comments on the situation on the Problem
Detail page. I sent customer support a detailed letter outlining all of the correspondence
between me and the buyer, but I'm anxious about turnaround time. Is there
anything else I can do? The buyer is not being cooperative and is doing everything
in their power to get a refund they are not entitled to, especially since they've
since sent me a picture of the item fully built.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

You just have to wait for Admin to handle the NSS.

Yes, but why would you pay knowing it's an error.
Inform the seller the invoice is incorrect without shipping and wait for the
correct invoice.

One could argue "it's the sellers fault and should honour the deal",
but because you know upfront the invoice is incorrect the sale can be cancelled
because of the error anyway.

You´ve probably bought an item that exceeds the available shipping methods from
the store.
The seller has to manually add the postage and send the invoice. Then you can
pay.

In Buying, marciogabriel writes:
At the beginning of December, I made a small order of minifigures from a certain
store and have had problems communicating with them since they pretty much have
not responded or acknowledged my existence throughout the entire process.
I’m new to Bricklink so I don’t know if stores automatically generate invoices
and allow me to pay for stuff and update the inventory without the seller having
any idea, but it honestly feels like that. Please let me know if that’s true.
Part of me fears something could have happened to the seller since reading up
on their terms and history of interactions, this is out of the ordinary.

Anyways, on the 19th I issued an NSS after getting no signs of life since my
order on Dec 5th. It’s been a week and still no response from the seller whatsoever,
and I have arranged with my bank to receive a refund, but Bricklink only allows
me to formally cancel the order on the 2nd of January (2 weeks after the NSS
is issued). I wouldn’t have trouble waiting, and a small part of me still hoped
the store would pull through and send me what I bought. However I was just browsing
for potential replacements to the figures I had bought and found a much better
deal in a different store and they actually replied to my inquires in a timely
manner so I know they’re active. Not only that but their store also has a few
more items I would be interested in.

To actually cancel the order you've to complete the NSS process.
It will also protect you from a negative feedback.
Hopefully the seller will cancel the order sooner.

My question is, would it be prudent to buy with this store while waiting out
the NSS deadline with the original store? I honestly doubt they’ll (store A)
respond by next week, I got my refund, and I’m tired of waiting. Come January
I will no longer have a lot of time to see to my collection because work starts
back up and I really wanted to have these before my work break is done. Has anyone
had a similar situation happen to them before? Would I be in serious trouble
if the original store actually comes out of the woodwork?

ordered my items because I wanted them to begin with. Why would I choose to put
them back in a Wanted section afterward? It doesn't make any sense to me.

You still Want the items, until the items physically arrived, then you actually
have them.

Currently only one coupon can be applied per order and only on a new order submission
(not addition to an existing order). The coupon percentage off or dollar amount
off then applies to the dollar value of all future batches in the whole order.

Like the original question, does that mean so long as the first batch of the
order is placed before the coupon expires, the coupon is still valid for all
additional batches placed afterwards even if expired?

Yes, that's what's in the Helppage.

  That might be an issue
if a seller has lots of coupons issued that expire and they have a general sale
after that date.

Sellers can adjust the expire date manually on this page:
https://www.bricklink.com/orderCoupons.asp?v=M&couponStatus=*

Of course, the seller can stop additional batches being added by marking as packed.
