Hello. I made a purchase from a user. The package never arrived, through the
post office I learned that it arrived in my country but that it cannot be delivered
because the address was wrong or incomplete. And that it had already been
returned to the sender. I contacted DHL and the only thing I could find out was
that it had already been delivered to the sender. At cost, the seller gave me
back the value of the set, despite saying on the bricklink page that he had returned
the whole thing. I lost money. Gave neutral feedback to the seller. The seller
gave me negative feedback claiming that I gave up on the purchase. I think the
feedback I was given was unfair. I hope the admin will refer to the entire conversation
exchanged between me and the seller and remove the only negative feedback I have.

I didn't give up on the order. It was a set that my daughter was missing
and bricklink knows that I ended up buying it from another user. (Whom I thank
as it was very kind)

I know it's just one, but I make every effort to make sure everything goes
smoothly in all the purchases I've made so far. Maybe I should have ignored
it, but I wasn't. Mainly because of the total arrogance and contempt of the
seller who did nothing to solve the problem. Thank you

I think that this is more of a Bricklink problem as a neutral feedback shouldn't
affect your rating. It was great, but it wasn't bad, so why treat it as a
bad thing?

It isn't treated as a bad thing. It is also not a good thing, so doesn't
count as praise.

Email the buyer and ask them to stop doing it. If no response, stop list them,
and inform all sellers you are friendly with so they stoplist them.

It's not an buyer I had to deal with, but I'm letting all sellers on
here know to expect a neutral if they order from you.

If sellers place an order then in that case they are a buyer. And why would I
leave them a neutral?

Sorry about not communicating. I couldn't access my account. However, I might
still be willing to purchase from you. I will ultimately decide if I purchase
from you, today.

I'm not sure who you are - sorry if I've forgotten the context - but
thank you anyway, and you're very welcome of course!

I see this has been canceled because spreading awareness using a username in
the BL forum is a bigger issue than the source of the problem.

Hopefully the message in the discord server reaches a bigger audience...

If anyone is curious, the user is BrickDL and they are based in the US.

the order id #'s are fascinating......

I think not, it is a retaliatory feedback from the seller.

You can cancel your feedback and leave them a negative. Then file a complaint
at paypal for any remainder of the cost, if you paid that way.

I'm sorry but while you're right, there's no reason to remove this
Feedback.

The (bad) seller is allowed to think at this as a negative transaction.

You could remove your feedback if you gave it less than 30 days ago, and give
him a negative also

Apart this, it won't be changed.

Note you could also Reply to the feedback, it's important if someone reads
it.

Much more, don't worry - Sellers do NOT read the buyers feedbacks, epescially
when you've 60... It could be a problem if you were "-1" for example,
but at 60 really nobody cares.

Don't worry, set this seller as Least Favorite and forget it.

I guess it must be a pro Shop, then you're allowed to ask for their pro references.
Here for example, they MUST be displayed to the public.

  Does he have to
answer? Does this person think that collecting his extra 8% on every single out

extra cash in what I believe to be a low and underhanded manner. I wish I could

IIRC I already told you?

If you think it could be an unlawful tax colection, DO report this shop using
the member report page AND opening a helpdesk ticket.

Oh yes, thanks again. You are helpful. I will use your previous link. LU

probably counter with a lie of some kind and just keep on with these petty thefts.
So ... your thoughts ... or better yet ... creative and constructive solutions?

Seeing your FB profile, you may have a communication problem, at least.

Just like this forum post: you could have FIXED the problem instead of posting
and asking for a removal - that may not even be necessary if the buyer's
comprehensive...

no no, didn't you see his post? His buyers just need to relax because
he refuses to piss on himself by being kind to them. Messy.

What I can see is that he's getting ALSO a negative feedback in forum

And from the feedback they leave they have an even bigger problem.

I get what you are saying. What I had in mind were the situations where seller
is either non-responsive, not following with his or her proposed solutions for
weeks, or offering a solution that is completely unsuitable.

I might still be willing to accept the fact that a mistake has been made and
allow the seller to address it. Before leaving a negative feedback I might message
the seller, letting know my intentions in advance. Not meant as a threat, but
more as a last-resort in an effort to get the seller's attention.

How it is worse than leaving a negative FB right away?

I think what infinibrix is saying is that buyers shouldn't have to threaten
to leave negative feedback in order to get the seller to perform their basic
responsibilities. If you have to threaten negative feedback to get the seller
to act, then they already deserve it.

Of course, what deserves negative feedback is very subjective. I wouldn't
leave negative feedback if my order is mostly complete yet missing a few small
pieces, but some buyers are more forgiving of small mistakes than others.

If you haven't looked at this stores Feedback. I'm inclined to side with
the buyer here. Also the horrible childish replies to the upset customers tells
me all I need to know.

OP you are the problem, not your buyers. I've literally never, not once had
a customers complain about quality of parts sent and you have, Alot.

The idea that you have some sort of "gotcha" on this buyer is, yeesh

What if the seller sent me mustard?

You thank them profusely and run to the bank to put in your safe!

Even if it is French's or Heinz plain yellow mustard?

The bank and I aren’t responsible if you put knockoffs in your safe.

Yes, extortion is delineated as a valid feedback removal request. Though I'd
imagine the term “extortion” would be open to broad interpretation in any such
request. It seems to me the site’s intended use of the term within that specific
context, is more straight-forwardness of action. More deliberate quid pro quo
interpretation to be considered an offense, iow.

Otherwise, you could imagine the site bombarded with such requests behind that
which is a more common occurrence between members than the other interpretation
might be. But who knows... I clearly don’t

I put in for feedback removal, does BL Admin look at the email messages to determine
if it can be removed or just the feedback itself? I hope they look at everything.
There was nowhere to write anything when i asked for removal.

How is it feedback extortion... simply because YOU say so? I don't think
it works like that either? You don't even say what actually happened, so
readers can decide for themselves if the trans. warranted negative feedback?
Were the parts described accurately & accordingly? Were they ALL included? Did
you respond, in a timely enough fashion, for the buyer? That's why it's
called FEEDBACK... it's supposed to be subjective.

I guess every buyer is the most upright citizen and they don't ask far to
much than what is expected of the seller? I think we ALL have had an "UNREASONABLE"
buyer. Everyone also thinks the way they handle things is the right way, just
because i did not roll over a piss on my self for an unreasonable buyer doesn't
mean i did anything wrong or right for that matter.....
How is it feedback extortion... simply because YOU say so? No,
this is why i asked the question if BL would consider it extortion, and if they
look at the email(ON BL) to take it into consideration.....nothing more.....people
need to relax!!

Nothing wrong with writing to a seller in advance and letting the seller know
that you are STILL(?) waiting for an issue to get resolved, and that you are
willing to leave a negative feedback if it wont get resolved.

If you have wronged the buyer AND have not offered a suitable solution - negative
feedback is warranted. It is not extortion.

I told him to sent the order back for a refund(he refused) and he said he wants
to keep the original pieces AND have me send new ones.....Sorry I do not do that,
its called "unjust enrichment"

It's not clear here, were you asking him to pay extra shipping to fix a mistake
on your part?
