Seriously?
I question why this would even be brought up as an issue, considering there are
zero of this piece for sale, and the few that have sold in the past were most
likely part of a rare batch.

Maybe because it gives the impression that they exist. The photo does look like
it has been manipulated. It is way worse than other photos.

The seller who added the picture, Brock's Bricks, https://store.bricklink.com/Brock?p=Brock#/shop
, probably added the picture years ago because he came upon a rare batch in this
color and there was no existing image in the catalog.

The list of "Known Colors" is automatically populated by colors that
appear in set, minifigure, book, or gear item inventories on BrickLink. Since
white was a non-production color for this part, it does not appear in any inventories
and will never show up in that list. You can however list it for sale in any
color you have.

It is a non-production part from the mid-90s. This was probably sourced from
LEGOLAND and was not used in sets.

We applied catalog request because this part should be listed in counterparts
for set 9398
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=9398-1#T=I
Please include it in the set inventory.

Hi Ivana and Aleksa,
The item number has been changed from 32316pb01 to 32316pb081, for there were
already 80 of these parts with pattern.
Next time you only have to submit the part, a separate catalog request is not
necessary.
It would also be great if you would mention the book and pagenumber in your note
when you submit a stickered part, so we don't need so much time to look for
it by going through the instruction books. In this case: Book 3, page 44.
Thanks,
Diana

There are many examples like this. The mold/print variants of the Mini Doll legs

You can track down the differences from the PCC's sometimes.

Normally, used sets aren't used to make inventory changes, but exceptions
have been made. I believe there's a help page/forum post somewhere expanding

I'm going to make a few emails. Thanks for the help.

The part in that photo is 13 Red Orange. The black-eyed variant was retired between
1990 and 1991. 38 Dark Orange was introduced in 1994.
The question remains: What color is the cow in set 2445? No idea. However, if
you look closely enough, you'll notice that the cow is the white-eyed variant.
The horse also appears to be the same post-1990 version. This one is tough, as
1994 was a transition year from old 70s colors to new 90s colors, and 13 Red
Orange remained on the palette until 2001.
This set is extremely difficult to find new.

If so and if there is really such a clear distinction I think 2 new entries are
needed (with different pb numbers so they don't get merged).
It's not safe to edit the existing entries because I bet there are a lot
of sellers with the wrong stud type so just changing the color on 3626bpb0844
will lead to wrong listings where if people want the edited medium blue version
they will be disappointed.
Thanks as always,
Paul.

however, the decorated parts name are generally decided by the volunteer contributor,
not TLG. As a result the names are (somewhat) subjective.

Hi,
You are absolutely right about this. Unfortunately the problem is, that it's
one big relationship with wheels that fit tires and every item can only be in
one relationship. If we would remove bb0046 from this relationship, this windup
motor will not only loose the relationship with tire 3634, but with all tires.
So I prefer to add a note to both items, so the relationship with other tires
will stay.

This is a brick built sculpture of Mighty Bowser who is not a figure in this
set.
I vote to keep the Mighty Bowser sculpture as is.
It might be possible to add the parts to complete Mighty Bowser as a separate
alternate entry, but the Catalog Admins currently have plenty of work to do on
their list of changes to be reviewed, so it will be some time before something
like this gets added.
Sellers who are only interested in breaking the parts and do not want to sell
Mighty Bowser as a separate set of parts will benefit if it is left as is, with
the possibility of an alternate entry for his parts, but would complicate things
if they had to break the figure in order to list his parts without listing them
as a separate figure.
Cheers ...

I don’t know. The super mario line has many figures that are brick built for
example...
This figure consists of almost 150 parts!
|
and the one from that set likely consists of 1000-1500 parts... big difference
|
I guess, but where do we draw the line?
|
There might be a guideline somewhere but I dont know if I've ever seen a
figure exceed 200ish parts otherwise every single buildable r2-d2 set ever released
would have the figure's cataglouged but considering other than the standard
versions (and slightly modified ones) none in the past like 20 years have been
added we know there is a limit

| its already an alternate number for the part
"Item No: 44728 Alternate Item No: 21712, 86644, 92411"
and has this note
"Additional Notes The underside of this part has slightly changed during
production as reflected in the additional large image."

| The box entry for 43222-1 Disney Castle shows the same dimensions as the set
dimensions. I've measured the box dimensions as 47.8 x 52.2 x 21.7 cm. Cloud
you please change the original box entry item dimensions?

You deleted the old correct image and left a new incorrect one.. Now two figures
have a same photo with White Zipper

You may have to do a hard refresh of the catalog pages to see the updates, Elena,
but the updates were made, and the images are showing the correct figures now.
Thanks for letting us know about this.

it now. Looking at the pictures of the decorated parts, I see that it has
been around since at least 2019 and maybe earlier.

The split was actually featured in the most recent Catalog newsletter. Not sure
if you have subscribed to these.

You can check if you have Newsletters enabled here:

But would be nice to have them automatically posted somewhere on the site too.
