| I have part x376px6 (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=x376px6#T=C),
the large lion flag from the Royal Knights collection. Bricklink says it's
only in one set, Royal Knight's Castle, and I know I never had that set (waaaay
too expensive for my parents to buy).
Does anyone know where it might be in another set? I can't find it anywhere,
but obviously I've got it. I want to say it was an individual mini fig, sold
with maybe a horse and the red lion cape (which also says it's only in one
set).

| Hi, can any one confirm the head gear plumes in this set.
The inventory (Bricklink) shows
Plume feather small 4502a x 1
plume feather large 4502c x 1
The instructions show neither of these (perhaps I have missed them) but does
show
plume feather triple 4502b

| I often use Rebrickable to check inventories as they have a nice 'view'
where parts are shown large and easy to identify. I have not found a similar
view in Bricklink.
Lately however, I noticed there are discrepancies between the two systems. I
was under the impression these were from the same source, but apparently not.
Anyone has info on this issue?

| To whom it may concern,
I am not able to get the add new inventory item form to work. It keeps giving
me an error message. I am trying to notify Bricklink that set 8158-1 is missing
a stickered part number and picture. It will not let me submit anything due
to errors in the processing of the forum submission. However there is no way
to fix the errors.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish to buy the string for set 6462 Aerial Recovery.
It is listed as:
x77a String, Cord Thin (Undetermined Length)
I see x77a listed with various lengths in the description. After someone tells
me length for set 6462 is it allowed to cut a longer string to that length.
OR does that mean I have ruined the string as a true Lego part?
How is it done to keep the set authentic? How to know proper string length?

visible.
Is it known if some belong to a specific set/time period or are they just random

has a few lots where the quantity is 0 (and it didn't like that  )

But what we pulled from a sealed sticker-pouch is the other way around - we got
three white sheets and two grey ones.
Maybe someone recalls having the same issue, or perhaps have seen/bought second-had
sets with the stickered containers matching this pattern?
I wonder if this is just a freak accident and no alternate variant is needed
in the inventory, or we do actually need to add the variant. If this has happened
before - there might be used sets floating around that are 'invalid/incomplete'
due to this.
Additionally. The 2006 variant (10152-3), apparently, had some hiccups with the
production because of TLG being short on some parts? Read:

Perhaps they were short on more than one thing, resulting in shipping sets with
different counts of the sticker sheets as well?

| In regards to the following sets:
As of this writing, these currently are listed as containing 6x 4073, with 7x
4073 as extras; all included as ammo for 18588's.
Obviously, one 4073 is almost always included as an extra, but the other 6 here
serve as extra ammunition, much like what would included as part of the main
inventory of other sets using 18588 - afaik, this is an inconsistency that exists
purely with these 6 sets (released as part of the same wave that introduced the
launcher).
In the instruction manuals, only six 4073 are included, and this lines up with
the piece count on the box. However, the inventory in LEGO's database has
twelve 4073, and LEGO Shop also listed the sets with a piece count of 6 higher
than that of the box listing.
Given that later sets pretty consistently treat these kinds of extra ammo pieces
as part of the set, wouldn't it be the instruction manual and box that are
erroneous here?

I was wondering if it is possible to make it so my store is only selling sets
and figures and nobody can buy any of the parts. Is there anyway to do this?
I am too busy to pack big parts orders but packing up sets for me does not take
long, so I want to reopen that part of my store.

I have this set and looked it up on BrickLink and apparently there are orange
and red torsos in it.
However, the sealed box I have contains none of these torsos in the images on
the box. The minifigs for this set appear to have been added to the Catalog.
I was looking into a suitable set that I might resell if I can get sufficient
quantities of it for some quick cash, as finances are tight at present.
This set is very new, hopefully the incorrect torso elements will be corrected
before release!
Cataloging new sets seems to have a lot of ups and downs! Hopefully it won't
take too long to get it all sorted.
I'm not sure if this is the correct topic but it seems like the logical choice
for the issues with this set.

| In the extra parts there is listed 1849pb01 as an extra included in this set
and that is not correct.
This piece is for the Indiana Jones minifig iaj049.
I found this out when someone bought the hats as extras, and I had to take my
full figs apart to sell them to the customer.
Please correct this in the system.

I noticed that the 1 x 12 x 3 arch in set 41004 is different when comparing the
photos of the instructions and original box versus the photos of the built set.
The instructions and original box show this arch as Medium Lavender and the
built set photos show it as a Light Bluish Grey.
There is no mention of the arch being Light Bluish Grey. If the arch is not
ever Light Bluish Grey, then the 2 built photos are inaccurate. I do not own
this set, so I cannot verify the accuracy of this.
Also, this set is part of a bundle pack:

I checked the building steps twice, no chance that I forgotten them. I checked
the box pictures as well, not found these two parts here as well (By the way,
another one 1 x 4 in medium azure and two 2 x 4 in dark bluish gray are used
in the instruction).
Has someone noticed that as well?

| Howdy folks,
In reassembling a 7586 which has been grown out of, I noticed that the clear
glass panes in the oven don't seem to make sense. The inventory in the back
of book 5 lists 2 x 4521279. Bricklink lists the corresponding 2 x 6063.
However the instructions - book 3, steps 41 and 42 - clearly show glass which
clips in at all four corners.
Can it be added as an alternate or something?
Personally I would prefer that my oven's glass door not flop open while I'm
using it.

| Certain Jurassic World magazines (as well as other magazines) do not include
their polybags in their inventories, where as some do. For example, Item No.
mag2023jw02en should include Item No: 122327-1, in its inventory, Similar to

| When using the "Bricklink mass upload", parts in that file are not consolidated
(the option is definitely checked) with existing parts in my inventory. The uploaded
parts get a new lot-ID and can be found twice in my inventory.

What might be the problem? Yesterday it still worked very fine.

I am currently inventorizing this set:
I built all three versions including the alternative version and I am struggling
to findthese three pieces which are included in the LEGO part list at the end
of instruction:
In black.
I have found in the instruction that it is 3 times used but there 4 are in the
list.

list
I have one left. I could have forgotten one as they are used 20 times, but it
is unlikely.
Can someone check this as well?
It is somehow crazy as all smaller extra parts which are left, are identical
to the list on another LEGO side. I checked the instruction three times for the
first both parts but was not able to find the mistake.

| I figured it's time I start contributing to the inventories. Two copies
of 75352 arrived today and it looks like it's reserved. I was going to go
part them out anyway to verify the inventory but it looks like I need to be an
inventory verifier first yea?
Reading the instructions on how to do that, it looks like I would need to be
the first to reserve new sets and/or submit "a large number of" change
requests. So since I can't verify the inventory, just keep parting it all
out and then see if there are any errors to correct in order to build cred?

Just hoping to find out if there is a way to sort a set’s inventory by the weight
of its individual pieces?
Or even possibly by size? I need a list of the pieces smaller than say 3x2
in every set. I know I can do this manually by scrolling through the inventory
but I’d like to find a faster way.

I am new to the site (not new to Lego), I am wondering if there is a way to match
one's owned list of parts on Bricklink to a set to see what parts are missing.
Basically I would like to build an original lego set with spare parts only and
it would be nice to immediately know which ones I need to buy.
Is there an easier way other than checking manually?

| So I recently picked up what I thought was all the parts for the 21303 Wall-e
set
I was not aware that there was an issue with the neck build and a supplemental
pack available. However when I started to build the set, I found that I didn't
have all the pieces and that's when I realize that there was a reissue for
the neck build and a large set of "alternate" parts in the BL inventory.
All the instructions online, through the Lego instructions page and on rebrickable
are for the updated neck. I know the inventory is based on the parts in box,
but there should be a note or something else that calls out that the inventory
does not allow for the build to be completed based on all the available insturctions.
That being said, if someone can find an online version of the original instructions,
that would be great.

| The inventory for 7239-1 includes a spare vehicle base 52037. I'm just checking
the parts list for my set to ensure it's complete and I'm finding it
difficult to believe the set would include such a large extra part. Is the inventory

| I couldn't't figure out how to change it in the catalog, but the inventory
for gen136 is incorrect. The torso for the figure has back printing, it's
not just the basic torso 973pb3169c01.

| Apologies if this is explained elsewhere, but I could not find the answer.
Currently, I am using the "My Remarks" field to indicate my inventory
location i.e. B01D01.
When I begin to part out a kit, on step 2 where it lists the parts, if I have
that part already in inventory, there is a link to "view store inventory
detail". I can click this to see the existing "my remarks" to see
where that piece is currently stored in my inventory, but it would save me a
ton of time to see that right on step 2 of the part-out process. Is this possible?

| While looking at my own statistics for the other thread about neutral feedback
I noticed a few parts on my store page that I know for a fact I haven't handled.
Last week I uploaded two that I came by. I had full intention to
part them out but my 6 year old son saw them on the sorting table and his eyes
jumped out of his head. So I decided to let him have one and then hold of on
parting out the other until I can get some more.
So I did the trick that Brickwilbo mentioned about parting out -2 sets.
That appeared to have worked but all of the parts that are still in my store
from that set are listed as counterparts in the set inventory.
I just went and looked at the part out page and I don't see anything about
counterparts. Is this a glitch or am I completely blind?

| Can I ask why there is a bag of tiles in this inventory instead of the tiles
being in the inventory individually? Seems odd and inconsistent with other inventories.

| Hi I'm new, so not sure where to say this or if anyone cares. I noticed a
possible mistake in the inventory for the Black Monarch's Castle (6085-1).
It lists 5 light grey 2x2 as 3003old. but I still own my set from childhood and
it has the 3003 variation with the little support ridges on the inside. Maybe
there were differnet releases, I don't know. So not sure if it should have
both listed, or swapable, or what. Thanks.

| I was taking apart my set when I realized that the 2 transparent heads were listed
as 3626c, but I got 28621. Also, Brickset also listed it as 28621. Did I get
the wrong parts or are these parts listed wrong on Bricklink?

| Hi!
I recently got hold of a couple of boxes of Lego but don't really know what
sets might be hiding in there.
Is there a way to add these parts to my inventory here on bricklink (or other
sites) and have that site identify what sets you can build based on that inventory?
If not, is there a better way to identify sets than scanning for pieces that
look rare and check them up to see how many sets they're in?

| Hi,
While recently searching Bricklink for part 85941 Trans-Clear Cylinder Half 2
x 4 x 5 with 1 x 2 Cutout with an "EGG-SPLOSIVES" sticker I was not able
to find one.
So searching around, I figured out what the issue is.
B/L Set 70920-1 Egghead Mech Food Fight inventory has 2 85941 Trans-Clear Cylinder
Half 2 x 4 x 5 with 1 x 2 Cutout, but there is no 85941pb0xx listed in the counter
parts.
Looking at brickset.com / 70920-1 / instructions: BI 3004+4, 70920 V29, page
71 step # 88 it shows adding both sticker #3s, and sticker #4 [as shown on B/L
70920stk01 ] to 1 of the 85941’s.
please consider adding a new 95941pb0xx with the stickers [#3,#4] from set 70920,
and update the counter parts in set 70920 inventory to reflect the new part#.

| Hi. I was wondering why for set 6359-1 on the sticker sheet there are 4 of the
same stickers. And there are only 2 panels with stickers on them that I see in
the pictures. What are the other 2 extra stickers for? Can anyone verify they

| This set
has a discrepancy for the alternate version. The part is shown with
the match ID 99 but in the alternate section, it has no match.
Does this mean it is not found in the alternate version?
And if so can the piece be shown in the alternate section with quantity 0 and
a note saying this piece is omitted in the alternate version please?
Secondly, the instruction entry should also show 2 versions of this set. If I
wanted to buy instructions for this set, currently I would have no way of knowing
which version of the instructions I would get other than reaching out to the
store.
I feel that sets with 2 or more versions should have a requirement for stores
to state which version of the instructions they are selling to make it easier
for the buyer.

| I want to sell set 6054, Forestmen's Hideout and I want to state that it
is a complete set.
I see four feathers in the inventory, two yellow feathers and two white feathers,
pieces 4502b and 4502c, one of each color. However, I do not see these feathers
anywhere in the instructions. These are not the yellow and white, 4502a, feathers
that are part of the inventory of the two Forestmen. I also see that those 4
feathers were move to "regular" not extra parts in 2019.
So, my questions are, WHY are these four feathers part of the inventory when
they are not anywhere in the instructions? If I bought this set new, would these
pieces be included? Can I sell this set as complete, without these four feathers?

| I've been working on BrickLinking
When I started, I'm absolutely positive that it included 10 of part
in the BrickLink inventory because that is what I added to my wanted
list. But now the inventory shows
Neither part was ever listed as an alternate and I don't see anything in
the log change history. Can anyone shed any light on what is going on? The
instructions available from LEGO (see link below, page 12) pretty clearly show
part 92280, so it feels like that should be the part in the BL inventory. But
I have never had an actual set in-hand so perhaps what was printed does not match
what was shipped.
Again, any additional insight, especially from someone who has the actual set
would be appreciated.

| I'm inventorying minifigure sw1219 (Cad Bane) and when I go to Verify Items,
his hat (item no. 2010) is verified as Beginner Math Skill Books 1 & 2 (item
no. is also 2010) despite the PCC and color info I input being accurate to the
hat, so I really can't see anything I can do about it. Please help!

| I purchased a sealed set 4489-1 (AT-AT - Mini) outside of BrickLink. There is
nothing to indicate that the plastic packaging has been tampered with, and the
seals look intact. However, I see that the front of the packaging has the hollow
mold of a brick in it, yet the mold is empty.
Does anyone know if that mold is supposed to contain a brick (or other item),
or is it supposed to be empty?

| Did anyone have problem with items in new set 40521? I buyed 30 boxes and open
few and have same problem in every box. There are many missing lots dbg 85984
8x, 3070b 2x, 90540 1x ... and many of white bricks 37762 16x, 99563 4x ... Some
items are doubled: white 15712 i have 72 instead of 32.
I never had problem like this with any new never opened lego set. I dont know
what to do with other boxes. How to sell them this this error?

Anyone who could help me figure out what is going on with sw0202?
I can't figure out the correct inventory.
When I look at sw0202, the minifig has grey pauldron, grey kama and gray visor,
but when I look at the picures of the set in which sw0202 was included, the minifigure
lacks visor and pauldron, but is now instead equiped with a helmet antenna.
So which setup is the "real" Commnader Fox?

| Hello,
I am trying to complete NinjaGo set 70639 and I am missing a part composed by
a black slope curved 3X2 (24309) and a specific sticker (see picture attached
from the instructions manual).
There is no way I can search this part in Bricklink as this part is missing in
the "counterparts" of 70639 set inventory.
As I don't have a real picture of this part, I cannot make a formal request
for an inventory change for set 70639.
Is there any alternative solution to add this part to the inventory ?
Otherwise there is no way to buy (or sell) this part on Bricklink, apart from
buying a 24309 part and the full sheet of stickers.

| So I get the concept of the My Cost thing. I can appreciate that. I take the
amount of money I have spent of whatever I am putting in my inventory, divide
it by the number of parts and boom.. cost. Except when I go to my inventory page,
the cost at the bottom isn't adding up to my cost. I'm sure the system
accounts for multiples of one part.. so what is happening.
Example:
Today I spent $20 on 1100 parts that I entered into my inventory. Rounding up,
that puts me at $.02 per part. But when I go to my inventory, the computer calculated
cost is all kinds of messed up...

| Hi all,
As I was parting out a set I stumbled upon 3 trans-black 1x1 plates. The only
problem is, one of them looks like it got a little too much coloring in its plastic.
As you can see on the first image the third one looks plain black, but when held
against the light it's visible it really is transparant.

| Hi, i have (alomost) performed a set partout for 76912 which is not a very big
set. Its has a few new items, some color additions to existing designs and a
new minifig torso/head. Sorting, counting, checking numbers, checking what is
what etc etc
I must say it is a hell of a lot of work !! I must not even think of doing a
really large set... respect for the people doing that !!
SO -- i notice that there is a very LARGE backlog in set partouts on Bricklink
for newer sets! And also the approval process is not very fast it seems. I understand
that it has to be done very carefully.
BUT - I also notice that on BRICKSET i very quickly find a set inventory for
also NEW sets ? How can that be the case ?? It is missing the addl parts etc
but for the rest they seem mostly correct.
SO -- as bricklink is my favorite for selling stuff, and bricklink is OWNED
BY the LEGO group im am still wondering wqhy we cannot automate the process of
creating set inventories based on data coming out of LEGO itself and create set
inventories in Bricklink automatically (surely with correct item numbers etc
- but that can be automated too i guess !! Pretty sure they have all data present
, numbers , counts, addl parts etc etc

| Is there any way in which to part out sets including their counterparts (such
as Groot, Fluffy, etc) as a single assembly, and not have those parts listed
twice (once as the counterpart, once from the main set inventory? Either Brickstore
or Bricklink parting out would be fine.

| I recently picked up a 6980 with its box and it appears to be all original pieces
in like new condition. The puzzling thing is that it has a mixture of 4081a and
4081b (1x1 plate with thin and thick ring) and a mixture of 4085a and 4085b (1x1
plate with thin open-O gray and thin U clip - white). The set is complete and
doesn't have any evidence of other pieces swapped out. Mold details like
solid pins are correct for this age of a set. It feels like these pieces have
been in the box for decades. This leads me to believe that Lego might have shipped
6980 with both part variations for each of those 1x1 modified plate types. Can
anyone verify this? If that's the case, could we get the 4081b and 4085b
listed as alternates?

| Hi, i notice that there is seems not (yet) to be a partout for several newer
(2022) sets.
Is that a policy currently for newer sets ? Or is the work to partout and document
a set still to be done (by someone) in that case ?
I guess, as bricklink is owned by lego, that could be done fairly easy / automatically
?
On for example brickset i see the sets beoing partout alreay -- so gues the
work has been done already ..

| seen notations about this subject via another thread.
Moderator stated NOT to use phrasing like " as new" to describe a Used brick
with no flaws.
but bricks with flaws like scratches, dents, etc are allowed to be described
as so.
my suggestion for flawless Used bricks was " Looks Brand New"..
after reviewing the Cnodition aspects for listing bricks, there are only 2 choices,
New or Used, with no 'Condition Grading System mentioned for used bricks..
is there an Official Brinklink way to decribe 'Used' bricks with no flaws
on them?
