The slug only appears in the third build, and the parts are used to build different
animals and plants in the first two builds.

and LEGO data only shows 3 Minifigures and doesn't mention R.R. Slugger,
so I'm sorry, but it will not be added to the set inventory as a Minifigure.

See the note ...
"The power adapters in this inventory have also been listed in the Extra
Items section since they were only included in certain markets."
It should be added as an extra like the other three transformers.

This minifig is listed in more than 1 set so you cannot just change the inventory.
It would be necessary to add a new minifig to the catalog with the correct inventory

Jen, You are correct. The correct Mini Figure does already exist. In that case
would we just submit to have the correct one add and the other one taken off?
I have never done any requests for catalog changes before. Been on BrickLink
for 4 years but never ventured into this part of it before. Thanks for your

I don't fully understand what happened though, for I added PCC 6454127 for
dbg on November 25th, the same day I uploaded the inventory for this set. Very
strange, for I'm sure I got this new dbg PCC from the inventory comparison
tool that day.
You can see that the comparison tool is now showing a difference, for LEGO shows
Dark Gray and BrickLink shows Dark Bluish Gray.

Could you please read my post better (or google-translate first) before you conclude
that I didn't do my best.
1. I did my best for years already,
2. I owned this set (incomplete, no cars, used with damaged colored box), so
I know what it shows,
3. I didn't say it didn't come with cars, but I said it didn't come
with LEGO cars, the set was found with other cars and there's absolutely
no proof it ever came with LEGO cars. Why would LEGO produce cars that were already
retired just for one Sears set released in 1969/ 1970?!
4. The info that it came with non-LEGO cars came from 'Gary Istok', and

be in the inventory.
Instruction and box images are not considered proof. If I would have sold my
used set with colored box by adding LEGO cars, that's no proof it originally
came with these cars.

725-3 Note:
This set was produced from 1961-65 with an inconsistent inventory and no official
piece count. It's likely this set was produced by weight. Earlier examples
are known to have a relatively consistent inventory, containing the usual town
elements denoted below. Samsonite imported specialty pieces such as HO cars
or painted trees from Denmark, so late 1963-65 examples are likely to be missing
specialty pieces due to the discontinuation of the town plan system in 1965.
This set contained painted trees and bushes until 1962. The commonly accepted
inventory is as follows: trees and bushes, an Esso signpost, lightposts, garage
assembly, grey 10x20 plates, 1 set of petrol pumps, 2 HO scale VWs, and the classic
trio of red HO service vehicles. Specialty parts without an amount indicated
contained a maximum of 5, but some earlier examples break this rule. More than
enough basic pieces are included to construct the example model shown on the
box with some left over. The basic pieces included in this set were consistently
cellulose acetate with a LEGO logo reminiscent of the one produced on LEGO bricks
in Europe at the time.
842-2 Inventory:
The instruction doesn't show HO 1:87 vehicles / special parts. I don't
know at the moment where I got the info from that the set did include these vehicles
and parts, have to look for it. But 10 years later my opinion is that there were
no LEGO HO 1:87 vehicles in Samsonite sets after 1967 and reading the 725-3 note,
probably not after 1963/1965.
Addition for this request:
The inventory doesn't make sense anyway, for the set has 4 vehicles, so why
just add 2 vehicles to the inventory, including a car that was retired in 1962/1963.
I would remove both cars and add a note that there's a rumour it had LEGO
vehicles at first and a different brand vehicles later, but there's absolutely
no proof that it actually came with LEGO vehicles at any time, nor which ones
if it did.

Do you have any info where this door came from / which set it came in. And do
you only have this door with different handle in yellow? I never saw it. Could
be a US door and unfortunately I sold my US Homemaker sets, but never noticed
that the door was different.

Its from a lot of Homemaker that ive had for a while - no specific sets.
Have checked all white, blue and yellow doors and its the only one i have in
that style
The back design is exactly the same as all the others

Thank you for your fast reply. The reason I wondered is because the yellow door
only came in 3 sets, of which 2 sets were released in the USA (Canada) only.
That's the only reason I think that it might be a USA part, but that's
just a guess. I will try to contact the collector I sold these sets to. Or maybe
someone else own these sets and wants to check the doors
Unfortunately these sets didn't come with stickered doors.

I agree that the solid stud version should be the main part, but I don't
know if the hollow stud version should be deleted. Would the hollow stud versions
not have been used as alternate in later (1958) issues of this set?

that I didn't do my best.
1. I did my best for years already,
2. I owned this set (incomplete, no cars, used with damaged colored box), so
I know what it shows,
3. I didn't say it didn't come with cars, but I said it didn't come
with LEGO cars, the set was found with other cars and there's absolutely
no proof it ever came with LEGO cars. Why would LEGO produce cars that were already
retired just for one Sears set released in 1969/ 1970?!

The person who requested this change did not respond to a request for further
information and nearly two years have passed. It's likely that the requestor
simply made an error and confused the versions.
I recommend this request be discarded.

Actually the person who submitted this change request was right, but the submitter
of the Green VW Beetle Short version was wrong.

We have two HO 1:87 VW Beetles in the BrickLink catalog. The item numbers suggest
that the first 3 digits stand for the first sets they came in, at least I think
that this was meant to be. Unfortunately though the item numbers are switched
and therefore in the inventories of the wrong sets.
The Long versions came first.
It has a glued chassis and only a LEGO Logo on the bottom.
This is the older LEGO logo with open O with a so called ‘dogbone’ (same logo
used on packaging)
This version has been found in 26 different colors, including metallic colors.
The Short version came last.
It has a chassis clicked in, a LEGO logo ánd VW 1200 on the bottom.
The LEGO logo with open O doesn’t have the ‘dogbone’ anymore.
This version only came in 6 different colors: black, blue, red, tan, gray and
metallic ‘silver’.
I moved the additional note about the VW 1200 on the bottom from 661pb01 to 260pb01
and moved the sand green image from 260pb01 to 661pb01.
Sources: LEGO logo history, LEGO logo on packaging (boxes, banderoles),
lot’s of images from collectors, Richard Hausmann’s book ‘LEGO Modellautos’
(see images).
Most inventories which have these VW Beetle are wrong (most probably because
of the mixed up item number). Inventory Change Requests will follow.
The 12** and 13** sets were released only in Denmark, Norway and Sweden in 1957.
A year later as 2** and 3** also in other European countries.
Set 261 came with both long and short version, but the set itself came in two
versions also:
1958 – 1962 Long version with showcase and VW brick
1963 – 1964 Short versions with Garage
I can’t find any proof that the sets 260-2, 306-2 and 307-2 also came with the
shorter version, nor that sets 810-2 and 810-4 came with the longer version,
so my suggestion is to keep the inventories (after the inventory change requests
are approved) with the versions that we are sure of until there’s proof it came
with the alternate version also.
The Short VW Beetle also came in sets 696 and 698.

I am not sure yet where the version without glass fits in. All of these might
simply be incomplete parts, missing their glass. I have seen no proof that any
of these was actually used in sets.

Reading the Catalog notes, these could be part of Samsonite assemblies. Apparently,
they came with unglued windows.
Then there would be a
- glued version (production in Europe)
- unglued version (production in North America), as an assembly containing:
---- version without window (production in North America)
---- unassembled window (production in North America)

Case15 has the same dimensions as case2, which came out the following year. These two cases make much more sense that they would be the missing identities for sets 782, and 783 respectively. However: I did find a 1985 catalogue with case 15 for set 783 (see attached image),
the current case for set 783 shows up in a 1986 catalogue.

After searching for a long time back in March, I just found evidence by accident,
searching for something completely different in my catalogs It turns out
that the inventory of 782-1 is wrong (and you are right), because the set image
is wrong. I just found the set in this catalog.

So, this request can be approved.
Imo this makes the timeline of those cases as it should be and we should not
add case15 to set 783.
For the record: Attached the image that was on BrickLink before I changed it,
which doesn't show a set number. As you can see the catalog I have is not
in a very good condition.

What do you mean exactly by 'can someone check this?'. Given your conclusion
that they are completely wrong, it looks like you have the set and already checked
by measuring the box (not the build) ?!

I agree with you and wanted to let you know that I'm working on it.
It's not just these colors that are shown to be released in 1993, but also
some parts that were released after 1993 and minifigures that were released in
2004.
Imo the regular inventory represents a 2004 version of this set, because of the
minifigures and the reddish brown ladder. The problem is that we will probably
never find a 1993 version and a version around 1998 when parts / colors were
replaced. But imo it wouldn't be a problem to add a second version without
having an inventory.

Do you happen to have both types 92910 and 65452? And if so could you check the
differences and add some comparison images to this post? It looks like 65452
was produced in 2020.

I have that set.
Please also delete the inventory of
the box for that set is not in the catalog
I have no idea were this number is coming from just now. But given the simular
numbers I think 700.K.2 is supposed to be a much older box with a much older
LEGO logo. I would renumber this item to wood**.

oven, cabinet with door or drawers, sink...
Just like the Building with People Maxifigures always came assembled as head,
brick, arms and hands.

What are the mold numbers inside the two parts shown? (Not the design numbers,
but the actual mold numbers.) These look like the kinds of differences that are
seen in molds that are used in China versus molds that are used elsewhere.

When adding the Windows with extended lip back in 2008, I didn't realize that the existing inventory was wrong for these small windows. Probably because it looked right with all numbers without suffix. This set was produced from 1969 to 1972 and all windows came with glass.

23 cardboard pieces, and because they're provided in sets of 4 per punch-out
board, there should most likely by 24, which is confirmed by a low-res image
available on eBay. So I will be creating a part that is "one set of cardboard
pieces" for this set, and a note should be made that it most likely contains
24 pieces.
Unfortunately, the watch was missing, so I have no idea how many parts it contains.
It's not mentioned in the instructions.

Upper part is the new variant. There seem only to be changes on one side of the
leaf containing the sprue mark (which have moved slightly) with the "valley"
being wider.

Print feature via my browser (Firefox) and the page previews all looked normal.
Does it look the same to you if you print to a PDF?
I hope this gets worked out for you! I know it's frustrating when a process
we use on a computer randomly stops working.

Did you preview an order with 10 lots or more? Below that I had a 3 lot order
that didn't overlap anything. Up to 3 lots it's ok, 10 lots and more,
it's a mess. Printing Landscape it's ok, but too expensive.
I use Microsoft Edge.

The browser really shouldn't have to be a problem. I remember installing
Firefox and Chrome years ago, just for BrickLink issues. Didn't install it
on this desktop yet. But if BrickLink changes something it should be tested on
all browsers first. And something changed, which causes this problem.

for a horizontal page. Because Art.

I can only do this when I 'print to PDF', but the problem occurs before
printing. I press print, get that awfull order on my screen and after that I
can choose to print it or save it as a PDF. So it's the same result.
