Sometimes - it's not always clear when - replying to an email from a BrickLink
user, has the email address blservice@bricklink.com in the addressee's field.
Sometimes the actual user's email address.

It's confusing, but until a thorough solution for messaging is implemented,
I would like the "blservice" is changed to "noreply" so it's
at lease a more visual give-away the email will not reach the user.

It's just "lost" AFAIK.

It's kind of a noreply@bricklink.com.

It's a pure pain, I copy the email address which is in the message and replace
the blservice@bricklink.com with this address.

Thank you for your reply.
Would be a useful and minor change it's changed to noreply@... so it's
more a give-away the email won't arrive.

It goes to blservice@bricklink.com and then disappears into the nether. If you
want to contact a member, do it through BrickLink or put their email address
in yourself.

This is not the behavior that it used to have. Last I can check was a message
from 2022.06.06, which has a reply-to field with the e-mail address of the member,
not blservice.

I experience both variants. For some messages: it's the blservice@... email
address.
For other kind of messages: it's the actual user address. Haven't investigated
when it's which.
Always using the same email client by the way too.

AFAIK from the e-mails I receive from blservice, the Reply-To field is correctly
set to the sender’s email address.  Therefore, when I hit Reply on MUA (Mail-User
Agent), the reply goes to the address in that field (that is, the member).

If your MUA is stupid, it’ll send the reply to the From field, blservice, and
it will be lost in time like tears in the rain.

I noticed the behavior in my mail client (fat client Microsoft Outlook 365) is
different from where the email originated. Sometime the reply is to the actual
user's email address, sometime it's to blservice@...

In any case, it would be more obvious if blservice@ would be changed to noreply@
for a clearer visual indication.

If you changed your Country, AFAIK, it can't be undone and it's "normal"
as you relocated your shop somewhere else...

Thank you for your reply.

Strange logic.
For starters, I changed my personal shipping country, not intending to change
my business country. But I noticed that later.
Even then, it's strange logic changing your store country (even when that
's what was the intent) would remove all these settings. It seems up to the
seller or store to update this data.

I changed my address for a purchase. As a result, my store needed re-verification.

After this happened, all my shipping methods were removed (for a reason that
is not clear for me). Is there a way my shpping methods can be restored, as manual
re-configuration is really cumbersome.

Thanks for the reply.
The same country restriction is the problem here.

I live near a country border and have an address in both countries where I can
collect parcels. Depending on the shipping costs, it's more economical to
ship to country A or country B.

The only way to have an order shipped to address A or address B, is to update
my address details on my profile. This used to work fine, albeit it's a bit
cumbersome.
Since some time (recently?), when I change my address on BrickLink, I must go
through the seller verification process again, even though I changed it only
from a buyer point of view. I wasn't meaning the change my official store
address.

So my suggestion/request is one of the following:

Option 1 - Allow any buyer to enter any shipping destination in the checkout
process, just like 99% of webshops allow to do so.

Option 2 - Each account should have a buyer and a seller address. Only when changing
the seller address, a new store verification is required.

Thanks for considering any of these options.
