Had a new user order an expensive item, female name on the BrickLink account,
male name on the Paypal account, same last name. A few days after receiving the
item, the Paypal account holder filed an unauthorized use of account chargeback.
Until this is settled, beware of orders from this account: rebecca_21

Hi everyone! I wanted to know where do I find brick lots here on BL? i'v
tried looking up "custom item" and "brick lots" in the search
engine, is there something I'm missing? thanks!

Are you looking to purchase bulk, unsorted, used bricks?

Thought I'd share pics of my workout spot posted earlier:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1429439

Our workouts are every other day. But to the extent I'm able to push my schedule,
sometimes more frequent for me

The second pic is of an impressive cattail like bush found throughout the shoreline
area. Some standing 20+ ft. tall. Beautiful. Didn't take pics of the of the
Osprey pair though, sadly haven't seen them lately But if they do show
themselves, I promise to get my phone out to share with you all here. They are
impressive!

Have a wonderful day

In my corner of the world, living in our little country town of about 10k people,
we were given the opportunity to memorialize 9/11. A remnant of the towers is
now mounted in our town square, on display. One of the 'rules' was that
the twisted piece of steel must not be washed prior to installation, as it had
the DNA of lost souls on it. Chilling!

At the Planning and Zoning meeting to discuss the installation, one member, quite
choked up with emotion, quietly said that it needed lighting. All eyes turned
towards her. She continued, "the people had been in the darkness... I want
them to have light". The Mayor was the first to speak afterwards, and quietly
affirmed, "those souls would have light".

  Dear BrickLink members,

I would like to sincerely apologize for the performance issues that the site
has been experiencing this week. On Wednesday, during monthly maintenance, I
attempted to bake a 14-inch pizza Margherita using the excess heat produced by
BrickLink's servers. Unfortunately, while preheating the servers to 475 degrees
Fahrenheit (250 degrees Celsius), some of them overheated and were permanently
damaged. I have been busy helping the BrickLink team replace the damaged servers
and we are almost finished but you may continue to experience some lingering
issues as we get everything back online.

These issues are totally unrelated to the ongoing conflict between the Pizza
Gang and Le Mustard Club.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for those of
you who use other parts of this site besides the forum.

If you have any questions, please contact the help desk: https://helpdesk.bricklink.com/Main/

They usually respond within 2-3 geological epochs, but may take longer to respond
during periods of unusually high geological activity.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

But I thought a good margherita pizza oven temp was between 700F-900F...

I was just looking at this baseplate:

It's marked as an alternate in Eldorado Fortress. Does anyone know why? Surely
this must be a mistake.

Wow though, for that price, I ought to dig out my baseplates...

Buyer places an order, I fill order, and ship it. Buyer receives order and claims
that I sent them Light Bluish Gray instead of Light Gray for 7 lots. There were
no parts ordered in Light Bluish Gray.

Of the 7 lots, I still have stock of 4. So I compares parts in those lots to
my color board (actual parts, for every color I have ever encountered, and usually
1x2 bricks). All 4 compare correctly to Light Gray, but a difference can be seen
when compared to LBG. Of those 4, one shows never to have been made in LBG, only
LG.

Of the 3 lots that the buyer ordered all I had available, all were from three
sets recently parted out. Those sets have release dates of 2000, 2000, and 2003.

At this point, I’m taking the view that the parts were LG as ordered. Curious
to see what those who deal with this regularly have to say.

TIA, Nita Rae

As someone who has sorted untold pounds of used grays, having proper lighting
helps immensely. The new daylight LED lights are fantastic for color checking
grays. A little hard on the eyeballs, but worth it for how quickly you can sort
bricks.

I’m looking for any bricklink stores or websites that sell Lego by the pound.
If you know any bricklink stores or websites that do, please let me know.

New or used? I've got a bunch of used bulk I'd work a deal on.

Is anyone else from the US having postal delivery issues from Canada? Their
postal service has returned 5 of the last 6 we have sent. All of them had address
verified and sent back out only to be returned again. We haven't had a
problem ever with Canadian postal until now.

Could you give some more details on the items shipped, how they were packaged,
did you print through Paypal's shipping, and any other information that could
help pinpoint the problem? Right off the top of my head, maybe sending in regular
envelope and/or first class mail instead of package rate for goods, improper
addressing on Paypal shipping forwarder service, could be others, details please.

Hi. Everyone I've been selling over a few months. I've suddenly hit a
snag. What's the key to getting people to purchase parts?

since we have now entered the summer season there is often a dropoff in sales.
they should pick up once we get closer to Q4. the only way to get more sales
is to keep listing and if wanted run larger % sales

Yes, summer break is the ideal time to catch up on inventory, do sorting, add
in more stock, hit the summer garage sales, it's building time, both inventory
and playing!
