the picture does not match the color selected. This can be problematic when
adding multiple parts of different colors as well as ensuring the color or picture

| While clicking on an increment or decrement button within a qty box, the scroll
capability should be disabled to prevent accidentally increasing or decreasing

| There is a button that says "Add Order Items to my wanted list" on the
order details page. This button adds the items that you just ordered to your
wanted list as "wanted" items. Why would I want the items I just ordered.
MVP for this suggestion:
- Have button to add items to wanted list "have" qty on order page
- Have ability to select which wanted list each lot is going to for multiple
wanted lists

I have this problem.
I very often build different buildings from my parts and at the same time I use

parts by color.
I would be very grateful if you could add such a function to the section on the

Thank you in advance!

| Gonna express this here under suggestions, for lack of a better topic to use.
But no need to vote or take too serious Just looking for candid feedback on
the idea of rebranding the sometimes divisive feature
As the Stop List is a unidirectionally action, I thought a more descriptive term
for the outdated and sometimes confusing phrase, could easily replace it. Some
other descriptor that would serve both buyer and seller better.
Decline Service List, Refuse Service List, Excluded from Service, Service
Exclusion List, or whatever you might come up with other than just “stop”
Just today’s over caffeinated thinking, and frankly not all that important. I
mean, ambiguous as stop sometimes comes across to the uninitiated here, the phrase
has been around a long time. There’s that to consider, but on the other hand
“don’t stop improving” is a good mantra and attitude to maintain.

| It would be awesome to filter the color palette by year to see what colors were
active. The introduced and retired data is already available on most colors in
the color guide, and it would be a cool way to browse the history of lego parts.
Would also really help in trying to collect particular eras of lego.

| The catalog has long had the feature to see the parts intrdocued each year. What
is not available, however, is viewing all the parts in the palette for a given
year. Currently most parts have the year they were introduced and retired, but
the latter half of that data is not viewable in a list format as far as I can
tell. Being able to view the "active" catalog for each year would be
a great feature to browse Lego history.
This could also be extended to the other broad categories in the catalog, but
not sure the year data is as robust on those to be easily done.
A more complex version of this suggestion is that the active catalog view for
a given year should only include those parts appearing in sets for sale. Right
now it seems like the year data only accounts for the first and last appearance
of a part and not when it was truly active. But sets right now only have an introduced
date and do not have a retired date so it may be hard to figure out what was
actively for sale in a given year.
It would also be great to get as granular as the mold variation available, but
that is probably rather difficult with all the slight variations contained in
the same listing.

I would like to formally ask for IDEAL as a payment method for the Dutch customer's
This payment method is long been the favorite for the majority in the Netherlands.
Currently there seems to be a limitation in Stripe to add this payment method
to instant checkout.
I did search on other topics related to this : but beside one I placed in the
wrong section;
the other topics are quite old.
So please do consider this small change in the stripe platform , it will be of
great benefit for all Dutch sellers and buyers a like.
It's a very safe , trusted, and recognizable payment platform that I'm
positive will also help with onsite instant checkouts (tax collection).
Kind regards

| I was wondering if the implementation of a search for stores that are nearby
is on the work bench?
I often hear of people around my city that would buy Lego parts, but don't
want to order them via mail.
Bricklink can be overwhelming for a mom who shops to replace parts the vacuum
cleaner ate!
Sometimes it's a few parts, then they become regulars.
They can pick them up at my door. Pay in cash. Easy-peasy.
I've had people that ordered and dropped by on their weekend trip too. Combining
fun and fun!
I also receive regular messages asking where I'm located (even if it's
stated in my top banner and store policies...)
I guess that search by province/state is OK... but a more precise way would be
better.
It could be on a voluntary basis... I guess some sellers don't want people
showing up at their door and that's ok. Could be a checkbox thing in the
store setting page.

| I'm using a lot the functionnality of buying from wanted list and explore
the seller results that have the most items I'm looking for.
But one information is missing along the process : when looking on what such
seller has among the items I want, I cannot see wether he puts any comment on
the condition of his items ! I'm totally blind ! So when browsing the results
with prices, I have no way to see if a part is cheap because really used or even
damaged...
The only way to see the comments is to systematically open another tab for each
seller, explore my wanted list through his store to see if there's any comments...
So totally manually...
As maybe not everyone would be interested by this information (especially if
buying New parts), that could be an option to tick, to display or not the comments
on the seller detail popup.

| Hello,
I hope this is not a repetition of an already-posted proposal: in that case,
I'm sorry!
My idea came while searching for some pieces which have different mold variants
and that, correctly, are listed with a different code and page for each variant:
sometimes, however, some colours are available just for one or another mold,
or very rare for some of the different versions, while being the variants almost
indistinguishable, so it may happen that one user could be interested in all
mold variants AS IF they were of just one type, with the colour and quantity
availability grouped "as a whole".
While searching for pieces available in the stores, for example, there could
be a "MOLD VARIANTS" checkbox to allow the user, only if desired, to
look for all the pieces/colours inside that "group of mold variants".
A possible "group of mold variants" for "Bar 1L with Clip Mechanical
Claw" would include, for example:
- https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=48729a#T=P
- https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=48729b#T=P
I've included the "undetermined type" too, as it includes all the
entries NOT considered in the other pages.
Thank you very much for your consideration,
have a great day

| Formely I copy/pasted adresses, but for some years now I have to fill in an online
formular to ship abroad.
But addresses are unclear in some cases, especiallaly from South Korean and Chinese
customers.
So I often have to ask what-is-what, sometime building names, room numbers, steet
names and numbers come in one line - too long anyway to put in the formular and
in many cases impossible to untie.
This often gives a lot of extra communication and delays. The english language
or let me say my english language- is not allways understood.
It will also cause improper addressings.
So what I suggest is making a fixed format for addresses according to the standards
postal administrations use for their online fomulars.
So a line for street, a field for streetnumber, a line for building name, city,
provibce/region etc.
This would make it much easier to ship, avoid a lot of communication and delays.

| This is a suggestion to add a new order status 'Mutable'.
Mutable would be a status immediately after the order is submitted, and would
exist for a period of time as defined by the seller. During that time, the items
have been reserved for the customer, may not be purchased by another customer,
and the IC payment has been authorized, but not captured.
When an order is in the Mutable status, the customer may add to the order, remove
items from the order, cancel the order, or confirm they are done. Once the order
transitions from Mutable, the authorized payment is captured (with an amount
reflecting the final order contents plus applicable shipping and taxes). If the
customer decides to cancel, then the payment authorization is canceled without
a capture.
This suggestion would formalize a solution, to a problem that has existed since
IC came into existence, where a customer realizes they need to add/remove/change
something within a short period of time after the order was submitted.

stores even if it is just a column for taxes and not just additional charges.
It could even be store managed and not automated by Bricklink like in the US.
Once we started collecting taxes a minimum order has to go away as the "additional
charges" spot used for a tiny order fee is occupied for charging taxes.

| I like to combine missing parts for my wanted lists into one. For example
I have multiple sets parted out into separate wanted lists, and I want to combine
all the missing parts into one list. Usually the default list. I like to do this
when going into a shop to get pieces. The way I do this is by selecting parts
and then copying them into another list. The problem is that it gives an error
when trying to add the same lot parts. For example two sets have technic pins
(a very common part) that I am missing. I can add the first sets pins to a new
list, but it will give me an error when trying to add the second sets pins because
the pins already exist in that list.
I think there should be a way to add instead of just copying. If I have
two sets with the same parts then I should be able to add the totals into a new
combined total.
There should also be folders for wanted lists. And also allow me to rearrange
the lists how I want instead of the 4 options given. Like if I want to move the
top list 4 spots down.

It would be a lot easier to find the set with box.
I always when looking for some sets with box, I need to read all describtions,

I hope you understand what I mean

| There needs to be a textfield on the Feedback Removal Request page where users
who are trying to appeal Negative Feedback can provide brief context as to why
they believe the selected feedback should be removed and/or which rules they
believe the feedback violated.
Why I think this:
I recently received negative feedback as a response to the negative feedback
I gave a non-shipping and non-responding seller, they used the feedback to reply
to my feedback and didn't even provide any actual feedback about me or my
half of the transaction, I submitted a removal request but it was rejected.
I just don't think this system works very well in its current state, the
admins have to make a decision based off of very little information/context.
So that is what the 'Note' field aims to achieve... at the very least,
there should be a rebuttal option for rejected requests.

| There is no differentiation between these shades on Bricklink and it had caused
me to order the same pieces from different stores several times until I had the
correct amount of pieces in the correct shade I wanted. This is especially frustrating
with the most uncommon pieces in dark red. For those of you who don't know
the differences, here's a link to an article that explains it well :
https://www.newelementary.com/2019/05/has-lego-color-dark-red-changed.html?m=1
Since the original dark red and the newest dark red have a similar translucid
effect, I think they should be in the same category. The dark red shade produced
between 2009 and 2018 is more opaque and most importantly, more brittle. So I
suggest a new category for this specific shade but I don't know how to rename
it. Please give your suggestions.

| Last year, BrickLink decided to reclassify the Pearl Light Gray color as encompassing
both the lighter Pearl Light Gray (Cool Silver) parts that were made from 2006-2010
and the previous darker shade which was then grouped as "Flat Silver"
(131 Silver).
Since the new update, it has been very difficult to source the correct shade
of parts, which are differentiable and belong to specific sets, especially within
the Bionicle range. I believe it is time for BrickLink to reclassify the darker
shade into a new color so the community can list/purchase parts with greater
accuracy. Propositions for the 131 Silver color name could be something like
below, (or whatever the BrickLink team would find appropriate):
-Flat Pearl
-Medium Pearl Light Gray
-Pearl Medium Gray
BrickLink stated about a year ago: "Future: BrickLink will most likely introduce
a third silver color so that all three LEGO silver colors (131 Silver, 296 Cool
Silver, and 315 Silver Metallic) have a direct correlation to a BrickLink color.
The BrickLink color names may need to be updated to create harmony between them."
Can this be done?

| Perhaps this has already been suggested and/or talked about. If so, please disregard.
We all know that customers don't read, so banners and/or store terms stating
some extending handling times or something will be ignored, and then have
angry customers. The fix: I'd like to see a toggleable page with a password
to enter a store and/or check out. Much like the "closed store" page,
where you can enter a password to get in, BUT, this setting would still result
in the store being shown in all the various search results. The idea is generally
if someone goes to the store via any method, they will be directed thru a page
that is password locked. This page can have a simple paragraph explaining delays
(work, vacation, or whatever), and the customer must manually enter a password
to get by (for ex, "I agree" ). Once they enter that password, they will
be directed to whatever they were going to (main page, or a specific part). I'd
also like to see this page repeated a second time, just before the final order
submit button, just so that they get reminded of the delay, or whatever it is
the owner is trying to relay.
The point of all this is to force a customer to actually read a short thing ("I'm
away for work, will be back July Xth. You can order, but EXPECT DELAYS. If you
agree, enter with "I agree"" ).
Perhaps this could also be put to use in other ways besides delays. Maybe for
example a seller has had a run of buyers complaining of scratches on certain
new parts. This page could be a slight help, in saying that "part such-and-such
came DIRECTLY out of TLG packaging, and MAY HAVE SCRATCHES", then the password.
The customer is then forced to reconsider and/or accept the possibility
of scratches. Save everyone some headache.
Thanks for the consideration, and any other input.

from the chess set or Escape from Dragon's Prison. the Chess set supposedly
is brighter and does not match the smaller shields or the barding colors like
the one from Escape from Dragon's Prison does.
Can anyone confirm this? I have Escape from Dragon's Prison from a sealed
set which matches nicely but don't have the chess set to confirm on my end.
Thank you and Keep Building!

| Hello,
Wondering if it would be possible to add an option to sort sets by the "year
released" in the My Collection listing?
It would be similar to how we are able to sort by year released when searching
for sets and parts I would think?
Maybe not to many folks use the My Collection but I have been finding it a great
place to maintain my listing of items besides a spreadsheet!
Thanks!

| I'm trying to import the set "The Mighty Bowser" so I can make minor
edits to it, like making it dry bowser, but I'm not spending 4 hours building
a victual lego set I already have displayed. Please fix this.

| Connecting My Collection to search, without creating new Wanted Lists.
Scenario – I’m wishing to collect all Arctic Town minifigures. I have two sets
in My Collection, so the respective Minifigs show up under 'My Minifigures'.
There are [x] more that I want.
When I look in any store inventory, any minifigures I already have do not show
up unless I create a Wanted List and mark them as ‘I have’.
This is double-entry.
As I already have them in My Collection, I'd like to automatically show up
as 'I have' without making new Wanted lists.

| Would love to have Bricklink add a new feature that would show the list price
for sets at their time of release when known.

| Hello Bricklink!
Thank you for such a great website.
Canada is large country, and a parcel from one Province can arrive a week sooner
than a parcel from another.
It would be nice on the Wanted List search to be able to narrow down the search
by location to Stores in just one or two specific Provinces.
For example, I live in Northern British Columbia, and I would like to be able
to search by location not for all of Canada, but just for the Provinces of BC
and Alberta.
Thank you for your consideration.

| I see many stores maintain multiple non-unique lots in inventory. While I believe
this is a poor practice I don’t believe people should be forced to change. Different
storage locations happen sometimes. I even miss some occasionally myself.
I suggest in the store statistics that Bricklink excludes non-unique lots from
the total number of lots.
The number of non-unique lots has is a useful store indicator while the number
of lots is not. Non-unique lots can help identify the stores with stock diversity.
In the “find stores” search function one quickly find more stock varied store,
one I want to look at more closely, and possibly place an order. Obviously not
my only purchase tool, just one starting point. However, I think we all have
seen the stores with 5 or 10 or 30 of the same item. Try again with the next
on the list. Overall, this suggestion improves the statistic we currently use.
Yes, I do also believe that the number of stores operating with multiple non-unique
lots is large enough for this change to result in noticeable differences.

| When I bring up a Part in the Catalog Screen and want to change its Color, the
Color always defaults to "All".
Can you either Change that default to "Known", or give me a Setting I
can set to change that to "Known"?
Defaulting to ALL colors does me no good at all - I don't want to search
for parts that don't exist.
Defaulting or setting to "Known" would save me from having to Change
that setting EVERY TIME I want to search for part in a particular color.
Being able to select parts that don't exist in a color, and having to Change
a setting for Every Part I lookup is a waste of time and an avoidable annoyance.
Other than this and the Previous suggestion I submitted, Bricklink is a very
easy, intuitive website to navigate and use. There are just a few thorns that
have been around for too long.
Thanks!

| It would be great to have a setting for the Default Items Per Page that show
in a Wanted List.
With high-speed internet so much more available these days, Always defaulting
to Just 25 Items Per Page is low.
Every time I go into a Wanted List, the first thing I have to do Every single
time is Click on that dropdown and Increase that number to (in my case) the max
which is 100. If I Forget to do this, I sometimes don't notice parts beyond
the 25 limit in the List and end up creating 1/2 orders that I have to clean
up later.
Either Defaulting to a higher number, Or, have a Setting I can set would be great!
Thanks!

| I understand the reasons for wanting to try and separate mini doll hair from
standard minifig hair but with so many crossovers particularly with the increasing
number of Male dolls using standard minifig hair I think this method starts to
become unviable. For instance both these hair pieces are under Doll Hair when
they are both equally suitable for standard minifigs and so how is the correct
category for them being determined?
My suggestion would be to consider removing the 'Doll Hair' category
and replacing it with a category called 'Hair with Pin Hole' as that
way you still get to separate a good portion of the doll hair from standard hair
whilst giving some much needed clarity. Obviously it will mean some traditional
minifig hair such as Leia/Queen ending up among the doll pin hole hair but I
think its a small price to pay given it will enable more clarity as to where
a hair design belongs and where to look
