  Can someone who has a chrome silver modified tile with groove & lip tell me if
there are Lego markings on the bottom part? And if so , what is the marking?

I need to know if all chrome silver lego parts have markings or if some are made
without them. It's hard to tell on parts which have no studs to determine
if they are fakes.

thanks
Alison

Hi,
What part number are you talking about ?

Nicolas

Part No: 2412b Name: Tile, Modified 1 x 2 Grille with Bottom Groove
*
2412b Tile, Modified 1 x 2 Grille with Bottom Groove
Parts: Tile, Modified {Chrome Silver}

I checked my set 5571 and there are no markings on the ones in that set.

We are waiting for paulvdb to check his set first.

has a new mold 4304. Please add this.

The only difference is the inside of the bottom stud holder which is now partly
hollow which accounts for a weight decrease of ~0.03 grams.

According to New Elementary there is a functional difference between the old
and new mold: https://www.newelementary.com/2023/08/lego-brickheadz-sonic-review-sets-40627.html

  Personally, I would have said it’s the EU country where BL is registered for
IOSS… but I don’t know where that is (Danemark?).

Now, as the IOSS number is a valid EU VAT number, it should start with the two-letter
code of the country of registration.
So, DK xxxxx would indicate Danemark, FR xxxx France, etc.

Now to figure out what country IM is for

IM is not for a country. It is the prefix used for all IOSS numbers. At least
according to what I found. But if I remember correctly Bricklink registered their
IOSS number in Denmark.

  What is the difference between:

- 98138pb262 - Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Orange Slice Pattern
- 98138pb381 - Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Orange Fruit Slice Pattern

They look quite similar to me. Can someone explain the difference or make a picture
from both parts side by side?

Part No: 98138pb262 Name: Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Orange Fruit Slice Pattern
*
98138pb262 Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Orange Fruit Slice Pattern
Parts: Tile, Round, Decorated {Bright Light Orange}
[P=98138pb381,110]

They do have different LEGO elementnumbers and design numbers.

ELEMENT 6361440
DESIGN 80060
FLAT TILE 1X1, ROUND, NO. 177
2022

ELEMENT 6435103
DESIGN 103352
FLAT TILE 1X1, ROUND, NO. 259
2023

One print smaller, and the other covering the entire tile?

A grabbed these images from Jay's Brick Blog and New Elementary and there
seem to be slight differences.

Looks like I missed the existence of 98138pb262 when I submitted 98138pb381 to
the catalog. I don't own any of the sets that have 98138pb262 so I can't
compare them. But here is a photo of the one from my Botanical Garden set:

Part No: 87610 Name: Minifigure, Headgear Helmet with Holes, SW Mandalorian, Plain
*
87610 Minifigure, Headgear Helmet with Holes, SW Mandalorian, Plain
Parts: Minifigure, Headgear
The new number is molded in Bo-Katan's helmet in set 75361. Comparing it
to the other helmet in the set (which has the old number 87610) I did not notice
any significant differences between the two that would warrant a new catalog
entry.
