Some of these parts were not fully coated at the factory. The difference is
not noticeable from the front when the tire is on the wheel.

This part has a variant for which the tread surface is flat and a variant for
which the surface is slightly rounded. The difference in diameter for these
tires is .2mm.

I submitted a request to add this as an unsplit variant (because it is). This
request is to update the additional note.
I don't believe the item was released with a black band. I expended some
effort to fine one and was unsuccessful. One seller told me he believed the
black version of the band was homemade.
Second, the gray band is much closer in color to DBG than light gray as the note
states. In fact, I'm nearly certain the current catalog image shows the
gray band. You can judge the darkness of the gray for yourself.
I'm suggesting a change from this:
The rubber friction band appears to come randomly in either black, light gray
or trans-clear.
to this:
The rubber friction band comes in dark bluish gray or trans-clear. A black
version of the band is unconfirmed.

This part has variants with spokes that appear either wide or thin at the rear.
Additionally, variants can have either bronze or silver colored metal axles.
Finally, axle depth can vary by as much as 1.4mm. The combination of these
variations is unknown.

There are dozens (if not hundreds) of these classroom packs dating back to at
least the 1990s. They are not secret and were not given BL catalog entries.
The only exceptions ever made were for four of these:
Those four were only allowed, I believe, because of their unique packaging.
But if you want a bunch of catalog entries that no one uses for set combinations
that no one has, then I have a bunch of older LEGO Education catalogs and I can
certainly help out.
Item 7 on the Abandoned Catalog Roadmap™ (ACR) was to reduce some of the existing
unnecessary content of similar type. This request is for someone to clarify the
unwritten policy that has traditionally not allowed these kinds of classroom
packs.
