Sorry but here are a couple of slightly better photos. Thanks

Second one is sh018

No, the torso on sho18 is different:

The second might be a fake as it's got no mark on the neck. Does it have
a lego log on the top?

Does anyone here have any experience of the wall-mounted minifigure display solutions
from Wicked Brick?

https://www.wickedbrick.com/collections/wall-mounted-display-cases-for-lego-minifigures

I'm thinking about getting the 25-wide version in 6 tiers or 2 x 3 tiers
for my Star Wars collection.

I have some of their other products such as the base for the Old Trafford Stadium
and a couple of smaller mounts for displaying Star Wars ships and the quality
of the product itself is not in doubt.

My concerns however with the minifigure displays specifically are:

1) Might the shelves sag over time, especially on the very wide versions?

2) How easy/difficult is it to remove the front? It looks like it's held
in by small screws so I have visions of the corners breaking when trying to fit/remove
it especially when it's wall mounted. Or perhaps it's easier/better
to take it off the wall before trying to remove the front?

Thanks,
Steve

Hello! I sent a parcel (small order), I have proof of postage (sent with paypal
too, so double proof).
I have to wait 10 days from the due delivery date to make a claim, but the recipient
wants the refund straight away (we are talking about £5).
Should I leave the recipient to make a claim?
She's of course intimidating with negative feedback, but I'm willing
to refund as I am not losing money, so after the claim
What would you do?

It is sad/frustrating that the buyer is threatening negative feedback - perhaps
they are doing this due to a bad seller experience previously? - but as long
as you provide a full refund there should be no need for them to give negative
feedback because of a lost package.

I do normally try and make the buyer wait until you are actually able to file
the claim though since it may well just be delayed and still turn up before that
time.

I have claimed on Royal Mail for loss/damage a handful of times and always been
successful with proof of postage (and once even without because I used click
& drop) so if the buyer is insisting on the refund straight away you could just
refund now based on the claim likely being successful. Of course if it does
turn up before you can file the claim that would be a problem.

  Hi
I have purchased a number of part 3626cpb0877, however the ones I have purchased
seem to be a different colour to the one I already have.

I’ve attached a photo. The head on the left is the one I personally took from
a set (pearl gold), the one on the right is one which I purchased recently.

The one on the right is clearly a different colour so I have a few questions
I am hoping someone might be able to help with -
1. Are there any known issues with differences in pearl gold colours?
2. If this is a misidentified colour, what colour could it be?
3. Could this be printed. It’s a fairly rare part?

Appreciate your time and support on this
Gary

1. Are there any known issues with differences in pearl gold colours?

Yes, absolutely.

In my experience Pearl Gold the worst offender for colour variations (closely
followed by Dark Red, Dark Blue and White).

I even have a set of the gold legs from the figure you've pictured where
one leg varies significantly from the hips and other leg!

I refer to the darker version (as per the head on the right) as "flat gold" but
there is no differentiation of the various shades on Bricklink or Lego.

It's particularly frustrating as a seller if someone orders multiples of
a pearl gold part and you have to send them a mixture of hues because you don't
have enough in either variation to fulfill the order.

  Hello everyone,

Just wanted to see what you are thinking about adding the packing slip/order
overview to a shipment. Do you prefer this as a buyer? Or are you typically verifying
your order with your tablet or laptop at the side?

Curious to see if the packing slip improves the buyer experience or not.

Cheers,
Arnold

As a seller I always include a packing slip with my orders and I've had several
comments saying how useful it was, especially on larger orders.

I print it draft and 50% size and double sided in order to cut down on ink/paper
as much as possible. I also use it to check off the parts as I pick/pack them
which I find easier than doing it on a screen/tablet.

The only time I might consider not sending the packing list is if the additional
weight/size tipped the order over into another postage price bracket.

As a buyer, I've rarely received a packing slip but my orders are generally
quite small so it's never been a problem.

The images are the correct ones. You either need to do a hard refresh of the

Ah Great, thanks, all correct now, sorry for the confusion!

  What do you call them?

It took me awhile to ID this set given it's called a caravan.

In the midwest, USA these are referred to almost exclusively has "campers"

My idea of a caravan is like a line of camels in the desert. lol

Set No: 4435 Name: Car and Caravan
*
4435-1 (Inv) Car and Caravan
210 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 2012
Sets: Town: City: Recreation

That's definitely referred to as a caravan here in the UK:

noun
1. BRITISH
a vehicle equipped for living in, typically towed by a car and used for holidays.
"they spent a fishing holiday in a caravan"

A "camper" to me is one you can drive by itself such as the VW camper

Set No: 10279  Name: Volkswagen T2 Camper Van {VW Bus}
*
10279-1 (Inv) Volkswagen T2 Camper Van {VW Bus}
2207 Parts, 2021
Sets: Creator: Creator Expert: Traffic

Whereas a caravan is a separate "trailer" you have to attach to a car/other vehicle.

But yes, a caravan is also a procession of camels

2. HISTORICAL
a group of people, especially traders or pilgrims, travelling together across
a desert in Asia or North Africa.

  Hi,
I would like to see if anyone can confirm how many of the 93555 Flat Silver Ice
Skates are in set 40107-1.

The constructed image with the set shows that there should be 4x (2x on minifig
hol052, 2x loose to the side of the rink), yet the image on the instructions
and on the box only shows 2x in total (to the side of the rink, not on hol052.)

The set inventory shows 2x 93555 included, while the minifigure inventory for
hol052 also has the 2x 93555 listed.

I bought this set locally, used, on the weekend from a reputable adult collector,
and it only has 2x skates included.

Thank you!
Dennis

The last page on the instruction booklet shows 4:

Agreed. As a database engineer as my non-LEGO job, you realize how important
it is to name things so that they sort where you would expect them to be. Other
wise end users either cannot find what they are looking for, or end up creating
another entry (say, a custom item in this case) for it because they think it
does not exist.

Funnily enough, I am a database engineer too!

Would it not have been better to be "NAME (Big Figure)" so that they still appear
in the correct alphabetic order in their respective categories?

to find them easier
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1177545

I've just stumbled across this again so apologies for the reply to a post
from April!

In some ways this change has made it harder to find them; for example if you
look at the list of all Star Wars figures and order by "Item NAME", Jabba appears
under "B" rather than "J". I'm sure most people would expect it to be under
"J". This irks me no end!

Can the big figure item names not be changed to be the other way round as suggested
e.g. "Jabba - Big Figure" then they would still be searchable by the term "big
figure" AND appear in the right order in the catalog list so everyone's happy.

Thanks for your consideration.

many thanks

I believe this is the most recent publication of such things but won't contain
the most recent figures from late 2019 onwards and is quite selective so not
a complete referece by any stretch.
