Hi!

I am collecting for a Museum with Pinball Machines and LEGO® Sets in Neulengbach
(near Vienna AUSTRIA) and figured out, that many LEGO® Education Sets are not
listed on BrickLink (eg 9781-1 MINDSTORMS® FIRST® LEGO® League Start Set with
Mindstorms AND Robolab Software) even thogh I have them. How can I add them?

Also a lot Sets (eg 953009-1 Control Lab Teachers Project Guide) are missing
photos and inventory - how can I add them?

thanks for your answer

Stickered skateboards show up as counterparts in inventories, both with and without
wheels.

I'm about to add a stickered skateboard to the catalog, but I only have time
to add one of the variations. Do either of the variations have a higher priority
for being added to the catalog over the other?
For example

Part No: 42511pb09 Name: Minifigure, Utensil Skateboard Deck with Red Apple Pattern (Sticker)
*
42511pb09 Minifigure, Utensil Skateboard Deck with Red Apple Pattern (Sticker)
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil, Decorated
Marked for Deletion
and

Part No: 42511c01pb09 Name: Minifigure, Utensil Skateboard Deck with Red Apple on Black Background Pattern (Sticker) with Black Wheels (42511pb09 / 2496)
*
42511c01pb09 Minifigure, Utensil Skateboard Deck with Red Apple on Black Background Pattern (Sticker) with Black Wheels (42511pb09 / 2496)
Parts: Minifigure, Utensil, Decorated
Marked for Deletion

I noticed there are two variants of the 40243 spiral step that behave differently.
On the bottom side, there is a support ridge in the round part that may be located
(see picture):

- Facing away from the step
- Facing toward the step

Both parts have the same code, 40243.

When assembled with the 40244 support axle, with the steps fully spread out:

- The variant which has the support facing away from the step, will have
a part of each step overlapping the previous one (see second picture).

- The variant which has the support facing toward the step - as far I
can tell - will have no (or very little) overlap between adjacent steps.

See third picture, but note only the lowest 6 steps are of the second variant,
because I don't currently have a full set of 8 of them.

All of the steps pictured here are of the old light gray color.

So, does anyone happen to know if particular sets come with a particular variant,
or if it's just random?

Hello everyone,

I'm very pleased to announce that we have appointed longtime member BricksThatStick
to the Catalog Associate position. Paul served as the site's 4th Inventories
Admin during 2010 to 2011 alongside Emma (SimplyBricks). He effectively replaced
Dan Jezek, the site's founder, who had a special fondness for inventories
work and who of course left very big shoes to fill.

If you take the time to scroll through Paul's 900+ inventories changes:

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp?chgUserID=44744&v=3

...you will notice a sea of green, followed by a sea of blue, followed by another
sea of green. This means he continued to contribute to the catalog after having
once been an admin, which is (unfortunately) something rather uncommon. But it
demonstrates a great and correct attitude, the kind of attitude we wish to model
for all of our other contributors out there, especially the ones still cutting
their teeth.

Paul has, over the years, been very active as a seller and many of you will know
him also from his activity in the Forum. We look forward to his practical insights
and we are confident he will play a vital role in our growing catalog team.

Please welcome him back!

Russell

Greetings all...

I had a question regarding the following set:

Set No: 4486  Name: AT-ST & Snowspeeder - Mini
*
4486-1 (Inv) AT-ST & Snowspeeder - Mini
76 Parts, 2003
Sets: Star Wars: Mini: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6

Can anyone confirm, who has this set, how many bags are included? I have this
set without the box. It contains 2 bags and the instructions. It looks like
everything is there.

Also, what is the difference between the two sets below, other than the box?

Set No: 4486  Name: AT-ST & Snowspeeder - Mini
*
4486-1 (Inv) AT-ST & Snowspeeder - Mini
76 Parts, 2003
Sets: Star Wars: Mini: Star Wars Episode 4/5/6
[s=4486-2]

Thanks in advance!

Brian

Hello everybody,

Hope the post is right here. I found an article that is listed in the wrong category:

3626cpb2423 is listed under "Mini Doll, Head". Should actually under "Minifigure,
Head"

Greetings
Florian

Today I received my bought set

Set No: 523 Name: Locomotive and Station
*
523-1 (Inv) Locomotive and Station
46 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 1977
Sets: DUPLO: Basic Set

Inside the box

Original Box No: 523 Name: Locomotive and Station

523-1 Locomotive and Station
Original Boxes: DUPLO: Basic Set
There is two identical boxes with parts inside (look that funny rabbit)

Should I add these boxes as alternate picture of original box 523-1 or add as
a gear inside inventory of set 523-1 ?

-Fred

PS: maybe that box exist in catalog, but I do not find them.

I have just wondering if anyone knew when Lego started putting the part number
on the pieces. I have just found part 3176 which looks fairly 'new'
but has no part number. It just has the numbers 5 and 04 on the underside.
What do these numbers refer to?
Apologies if this has been asked before - I cannot find a thread.
Thanking you all
