Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 4482 Name: AT-TE
*
4482-1 (Inv) AT-TE
634 Parts, 4 Minifigures, 2003
Sets: Star Wars: Star Wars Episode 2

* Add 6 Part 4032 Blue Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole

Hi

There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. The differences
for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items
section with Match ID 99.
Quick overview of redesign: A dark gray 2 x 2 plate with pin underneath and a
blue 2 x 2 round plate are added to each of the machine's six legs.

You can find this info below the inventory page:

350 Parts, 1984
Sets: Technic: Model: Construction

* Change 1 Part Black {3705b Technic, Axle 4 Threaded to 3705 Technic, Axle 4} (Extra)

Comments from Submitter:
Are you suore that extra item is 3705b (threaded) and not a 3705 (normal)? In the instruction of the kit neve use the 3705b item

Nope, not sure at all!

This part was added as an extra in 2010. Unfortunately, the Inventory Change
Requests from back then were not saved indefinitely in the forums like they are
today, so we have no information as to why this change was asked for or approved.

I honestly can't see a reason for it being in there.

Our guidelines for Extras in an inventory state:

Removing or Changing Extra Items - Extra parts can vary depending on when
and where a set was manufactured, meaning that some new sets may include them
and others may not. The quantity of these extra parts can also vary. Extra parts
are typically not removed or reduced in quantity unless it can be determined
that they were originally added or increased in error.

So, to make a decision concerning whether to remove this as an extra part, I
have to somehow determine if it was originally added in error. That is going
to be tough to do after nine years removed from the actual change being made.

Any ideas on how you would proceed with this, Paul?

Cheers,
Randy

Part 3705b first appeared as a regular part in sets in 1986 according to our
catalog. So it seems strange that it appeared as an extra part in another set
two years before that. Based on that it seems that a mistake was probably made
when adding this extra.

But wouldn't this set have been produced at least for a few years, possibly
overlapping the introduction of part 3705b?

The only way to be sure would be to ask the person who added it in the first
place. But even they might not remember it after so many years.

I guess we could try that route.

Hi

No... that was also my first thought (my cancelled post) but have a look at the
instructions and all 5 are used as regular axle.

  Hello,

I have in my possession two types of 3039p23 Light Gray Computer Screen with
buttons on the right side.

The regular version (left) has buttons in Yellow, Green and Red - reading downwards.

The other version (right) has the Yellow and Red buttons swapped.

Would this difference be enough for a new code number or at least a mention on
the 3039p23 page.

Regards,

Karl.

Hi

From time to time this part comes up.
It's a print error.

Hi

it looks like the 'A' and 'B' sticker (both only once on the
sticker sheet) are stuck with a towel sticker.

Part No: 231.1stk01 Name: Sticker Sheet for Set 231-1, One Sheet Version - (4309)

231.1stk01 Sticker Sheet for Set 231-1, One Sheet Version - (4309)

B with towel: http://peeron.com/scans/231-1/12/

also https://brickset.com/sets/231-1

What's the right part to stick the A and B sticker and both towels.
