I can't find instructions anywhere for the actual builds, so they must be
on the CD. Without having appropriate instructions to base changes like this
off of, I do not think I am going to adjust any quantities of parts in this set.
If you can get access to the instructions of the builds, I would like to have
a copy of them.

Cheers,
Randy

Hi Randy,

id you check youtube?
The instructions are videos only on the cdrom
Some people share them on Youtube

8483 and 8482 have the same inventory right?

I think the following pdfs are made from print-screens of the video:
https://www.navina.ch/workshop/cybermaster/index.html

-Fred

Thanks for finding those, Fred. Wow, those are going to take quite a bit of time
to go through. I may have to put this one on the back-burner for a bit before
I have the time to study this thoroughly.

Cheers,
Randy

  Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 8483 Name: CyberMaster with Storage Case
*
8483-1 (Inv) CyberMaster with Storage Case
892 Parts, 1 Minifigure, 1 Gear, 1998
Sets: Technic: Competition

* Change {27 to 26} Part Light Gray 3713 Technic Bush
* Change {15 to 17} Part Light Gray 4265c Technic Bush 1/2 Smooth

Comments from Submitter:
Please see attached picture in forum. This will bring the set one brick closer to reaching 900, but is still missing one. Consider making identical changes to the set without case.

I found this set with all bags sealed. It's not possible to count the different
pins because the bags are too full to be flattened, but it's possible to
count the items in this small bag, which documents the changes I suggest.

/Jan

Are we sure that all of these parts were counted as Regular Items, or were at
least one of each of them considered an Extra Item? It would be very uncommon
to not see at least one of each of this part as extras.

Cheers,
Randy

  Hi,
What are the differences between the Power function Hubs: 88009 and bb892c01?
Externally they look the same.

None. It is just the classification system used on BrickLink.

Set No: 88009  Name: Hub
*
88009-1 (Inv) Hub
1 Part, 2019
Sets: Power Functions: Powered Up
is a set sold by LEGO containing one part
[p=bb892c01]

*
40253-1 (Inv) 24-in-1 Holiday Countdown Set
254 Parts, 2017
Sets: Holiday & Event: Christmas

* Delete 1 Part 4733 White Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 4 Sides (Extra)

Comments from Submitter:
Just opened a new set and did not find an extra piece for this item. This is not a typical extra and is also not listed as an extra in the Rebrickable inventory.

From the Additional Information About Extra Items section of the Inventory
Sections: Regular, Extra, Counterpart, and Alternate
help page:

"Removing or Changing Extra Items - Extra parts can vary depending on
when and where a set was manufactured, meaning that some new sets may include
them and others may not. The quantity of these extra parts can also vary. Extra
parts are typically not removed or reduced in quantity unless it can be determined
that they were originally added or increased in error."

The original inventory was completed from "Sealed Set Contents", so the person
who submitted the original inventory found this as an extra part. It is not a
typical extra part, but it does qualify as an extra part based on the definitions
of what goes in the inventory sections. It is also not the only set on BrickLink
to have this listed as an extra part. Another set from the same year (2017) was
also found with an extra of this part in white.

This request will not be accepted.

Cheers,
Randy
