| In the first LEGO Movie 2 preview ( https://youtu.be/XvHSlHhh1gk?t=31 ) the sewer

my own Apocalypseburg display, and of course, I want to have some sewer babies.
My question is: Is there such a thing as a baby body that has hands that can
grip minifig scale items (3.2mm diameter)?
Thanks,

| There are no plans to do so, but I hope that once the regular sales period is
finished Bricklink allows the inventory of these sets to be added to the catalog
so people can add them to a want list and buy the parts they need to build them.
Since they use mostly common parts, I think many AFOLs would prefer to build
them with the parts in their own collection, and just buy any ones they are missing.
Not only would this generate revenue for Bricklink by increased sales, it would
be an olive branch to the sellers who have been completely excluded from this
promotion.
Bricklink has done so much to build the AFOL community and it has become a verb
within our vocabulary (much like Google has in the general population). It would
be a sad irony if the sets created by Bricklink to celebrate AFOLs cannot be
Bricklinked by AFOLs.

| I really like the extensive catalog, and think that most of the differences (like
the jumpers or tiles with groove, etc) are really useful.
But when you get to things like this, with a 1 x 2 x 6 arch, having something
like 4 variants, doesn't it make it too hard for sellers AND buyers?
I get the raised arch difference, that is notable, but this thin/thick thing?

My personal vote is "ammunition belt". It makes it difficult to find a torso
in the catalog when you don't know the character or theme.
For example: "Torso Pharaoh's Quest Tan Waistcoat, White Shirt, Bandolier
and Silver Buckle Pattern (Jake Raines) / Tan Arms / Yellow Hands" (973pb0781c01)
"Torso Monster Fighters with Ammunition Belt Pattern / Dark Tan Arms / Yellow

These two items are similar-looking.

| Apologies in advance if this is the wrong forum to post this in. I did a search
for 'set weight' in the forums and couldn't find anything addressing
this question.
How are the weight of sets derived? Does a submitter weigh the sealed set on
a scale and enter weight or is it automatically calculated by the inventory submitted?
I've purchased sealed sets 2nd hand over the years and they never seem to
weigh what is listed on BL. I've read recent posts about sellers finding
sealed sets purchased in stores as "new" only to find their contents were replaced.
I decided to check several sealed sets in our inventory, some purchased at chain
stores, others purchased at LEGO stores or SAH, and NONE of them match what was
listed on BL. On smaller sets they have been as close as +/- 2 grams off, but
on mid-size sets (200-400 pieces), I've seen them off up to +/- 30 grams
This has happened with two different scales, so not sure it is an issue with
an inaccurate scale especially considering the sets we are weighing aren't
always lighter than what is listed on BL, but sometime higher too. I also listed
a boat weight that BL shows as 49.69 grams and our scale wavers between 49 &
50 grams, so it seems to be accurate.
Could the package weight be different depending on country? (an inventory is
submitted by someone in EU and their packaging weighs less??)
I want to list some of these 2nd hand sets that appear to be sealed as "new-sealed"
but don't feel comfortable at the moment given these discrepancies between
what we show as weight and what BL says is the weight.

| Hello,
I was looking to define some missing parts dimensions.
With standard bricks, it's easy, but how do we define dimensions when parts
are not standard?
Maybe I miss something, but I didn't find the rules there:
https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=261
For example:
The size is [2 x 4 x 2] or [2 x Y x 2] ?
The size is [2 x 5 x 2] or [2 x 4 x 2] ?
The size is [2 x 6] or [2 x 4] ?
[p=bb73]
The size is [4 x 4] or [Y x Y x Y] ?
PS: I put "Y" in my examples, because I don't have the parts in front of
me.

| Today we added a somewhat historic entry to the BrickLink catalog:
At first it looks like a normal Duplo plate, but it's not:
The first Duplo plates and tiles were based on the regular Lego plate/brick ratio
of 3:1 (that is, it takes 3 plates stacked on each other to reach the height
of a single Lego brick).
Somewhere around 1992, these "thin" plates and tiles were abandoned for the "thick"
type, which have a 2:1 ratio. These are what we find in modern Duplo sets.
What prompted the change? It could have been the advent of the 6309 printed tile:
Here are some other early "thin" Duplo parts:
* | | 3808 Duplo Tile, Modified 2 x 4 x 1/3 (Thin) Half Circle with 2 Studs Parts: DUPLO |
* | | 4121 Duplo Tile, Modified 2 x 4 x 1/3 (Thin) with 4 Center Studs Parts: DUPLO |
and maybe even this:

| As I keep my inventory in a custom database which uses the BL parts and categories
as core data, I was wondering if there is a way to download the "Item Relationships"
as a CSV file.
Currently I am working on a way to complete MOCs from my existing inventory.
This means I load a "wanted list" for the MOC into my system and then I get an
output of which of my lots match the items on that list. As my inventory is carefully
maintained reflecting all part variants I only get the exact same part into my
list. For my MOCs I do often not care which part I am using.
E.g. if I have some on my wanted list, it would be nice to show also
the I might have in my inventory.
To implement this functionality I would like to use the BL Item Relationship
"Similar Parts with Different Molds".
Unfortunately I cannot find a way to download this information as raw data.
Any Idea other than entering these manually?
Thank you very much!

numbers (since they're in sets like 70831)
So, I'm wondering if I should update them? Below is a list of the items that
have updated Item Numbers that I've found (Source: manual for 70831)
• 3623pb018 (1x3 plate above Unikitty's face) is 6253938
• 4490pb13 (1x3 brick arch body) is 6253946
• 42859pb01 (spiky Unikitty tail) is 6253956
I'm now noticing that these item numbers all begin with "62539".... is this
something that I should udpate? I fear that if i don't, there will be double
listings for the above items.
Thanks!

Is this supposed to be the entry for the complete set of 12 unique Unikitty collectible
minifigs? This whole entry is very confusing. The name says "complete random
set" and also "1 minifigure". The inventory shows 12 unique figs. Which is
it: a random set of 12? One random figure? A complete set of all the figs?
The price guide doesn't help much: the average prices seem too low for a
set of 12 and too high for a single fig. Judging by the individual prices it
appears that some sellers are treating this entry as a single random fig and
others are treating it as a a set of 12.
Am I better off creating a super lot if I want to sell a complete set of 12?

| Hello,
Let's say a minifig is inventoried with a b-blocked style head.
Would a minifig assembly be considered complete if it has the alternate head
c-hollow style given that the this style head is technically only an alternate
part for the set inventory that the minifig came in and not the minifig itself.
Some minifig entries have a note saying something like: "This minifigure has
been found with both the 'b' and 'c' style head."
I would consider it complete, but I could see an OCD collector expecting the
'correct' head style per the BL figure assembly. Even if 'correct'
is just arbitrarily which ever style was found by the first user when adding
to the catalog.
Obviously, this only applies to figures produced during the great transition
period.

| I would like to suggest the following catalog guidelines for minifig head part
3626.
issues
1. Need to distinguish between 1-sided print and 2-sided print
2. Need to distinguish between things with faces and things without faces.
- 2.1 Need to distinguish between things with 1 face and things with 2 faces.
3. Need to distinguish between things that are heads and things that are not
heads.
4. Want to note stud type.
5. Need to note identifying attributes.
methodology
1. Fixed values: 1-sided print, 2-sided print.
- Might consider another value (top-print) for things like Avatar heads which
are printed around the stud. Or maybe not necessary and could be noted in attributes.
Anyway, fixed values here to aid search.
2. Fixed values: single-faced, dual-faced, no-face.
3. Fixed values: head, pattern
- I expect some shrieking about the pattern attribute, but if all decorated pieces
are separated from plain pieces at the category level, the need for "pattern"
as an identifier becomes moot. Thus "pattern" can be used to distinguish between
a "head" and a "not-head".
4. Existing scheme (blocked open, hollow, solid) seems satisfactory
5. Attributes should be considered by their side count and face count and presented
consistently. For any single-sided piece a straight description is fine. For
faces, I'd recommend a top-down scheme for consistency: hair, eyebrows, eyes,
mouth, scars/marks, whiskers. For two-sided, single-faced heads I'd start
with the character name if it exists, followed by Front, followed by Back. For
two-faced heads I'd start with the character name if it exists, followed
by side1 attributes, separate with a slash, side2 attributes. Color values would
precede attributes in "readable English" fashion, thus "brown hair" and not "hair,
brown".
Complete naming convention would be sequenced as follows: Attributes, Sides,
Faces, Type, Stud. This sequencing allows for the unique traits to
appear first, which is likely preferable to having those listed last for a number
of reasons.
2-side, 1-face Example:
Green Goblin. Front: Balaclava, Heavy brown eyebrows, black eyes white highlight,
smirk, dimples, cleft chin. Back: three black scalloped lines blue highlight.
2-sided print, single-faced head, blocked open stud.
2-side, 2-face Example:
Robot. Silver eyebrows, Lime eyes white highlight, clenched teeth, scuffs, rivets
/ Silver eyebrows, lime eyes white highlight, closed mouth, scuffs, rivets. 2-sided
print, dual-faced head, hollow stud.
Note 1: I have a personal prejudice against labelling every head that is not
"human" as "alien". I'd prefer to see additional terms such as "robot" and
perhaps "animal" where appropriate; these terms would also facilitate search.
Note 2: It would facilitate consistent data entry to have a part-specific data
entry form available on the site. The form would include any fixed values as
popup or radio selectors, generous fields for entry of attributes, and an image
or images with callouts to provide visual assistance and reference for the contributor.
Guidelines for data entry should be included on the form itself and not require
leaving the form to locate guideline information elsewhere.
