I would like to suggest adding the ability to easily print a wanted list. Currently
there is an option to print a set's inventory but not for wanted lists.

Is there any chance that paired items such as wedges (left and right) would receive
their own entry in the catalog, much like the pair of minifig arms entry?

Example:

Part No: 981982 Name: Arm, (Matching Left and Right) Pair
*
981982 (Inv) Arm, (Matching Left and Right) Pair
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

Super-lots are a pain to work with and BL buyers don't seem to read listing
notes that items must be purchased with matching side (maybe due to generating
carts from wanted lists).

i have one suggestion that i think all would greatly appreciate. the function
capability to isolate and block individual sellers. what i mean is to make it
where if you have unsatisfactory service, you the buyer, can highlight the specific
seller and put him on your own block list. much like facebook. so that way, you
no longer see the seller when you search for future lego products. for the bad
shops will be filtered out and you wont see them. i just had an order that i
cancelled. i was instructed to go thru paypal and enter all their info in order
to buy their products. instead of going thru bricklink to get thru to paypal.
in other words, they wanted to circumvent the percentage you guys make when each
sell happens. so i refuse to let them circumvent and cut you out. pretty sure
they will give me a bad review. dont care. i believe in being honest. but i find
it frustrating that i have to write down each bad seller and have to review my
own list before buying. that is timeconsuming. appreciate it!

Hi folks,

I've been getting a bunch of orders lately with severely damaged and discolored
bricks that are coming out of big orders. While I attempt to skim the orders
for things that stand out like that, it seems like its easy to miss these things,
and then I wind up with dozens of low quality bricks I wouldn't give to kids
for free.

I have two suggestions:

1. Create a new category for quality. We have new, we have used (should probably
be renamed to gently used) and there could be a third category for "partially
digested, covered in feces, discolored" or use a number rating system like
comic books do.

2. ANY comments on the item made by the seller should be highlighted in a different
color. When I am skimming a list of several hundred bricks, the seller notes
tend to get lost in with the brick description. Leave the brick description
black, and make the seller comments red. If I see red, I'll know something
needs to be read more carefully.

Sorry if already discussed. The part numbers as provided in the instruction
inventory list don't match the part numbers as they are searchable inside
stud.io

As it is, I have to search on bricklink as in intermediate step. For example,
part 4160560 (a 4x4 wing piece) doesn't come up in the stud.io search bar,
so I have to search online, which then yields the part number 30503.

Can whoever is in charge find a way to include these alternate part IDs as searchable
inside stud.io for the next version? Would make builds a lot easier.

Many thanks.

Hello there ,

i am new to bricklink and i need tips since i am trying to make my first order.
I want to buy around 15 minifigs but as it seems most of the sellers dont have
any other than the figures i am interested of buying. Is there any way sorting
a list and then see the availability on the buyers ? Or i should just copy paste
on all shops every single code i am interested to ?
Thanks for your time and answer

would like to suggest adding a feature to the 'My Discussion Forum Settings'
page:

just like you can put members on your 'ignore list'
i'd like to see a feature that would allow me to ignore posts initiated by
members with feedback rating below X (X would be set by the user) it will be
an OPTIONAL feature as i'm sure not everyone will have a use for it.

The feature would EXEMPT(not ignore) posts that initiated by members who have
admin status.

Thanks for considering.

A bricklink user may be an A + buyer but a mediocre seller. I’m dealing with
a seller who’s had bad reviews, ranging from water and crush damage to an order
that was cancelled without explanation. But this user has stellar buyer reviews
that reflect his overall rating.

If there’s not already, there should be a way to filter between these two types
of reviews so that users aren’t stuck with a bad seller who’s being advertised
so positively from their reviews as a buyer.

Hi,

If it is possible, it would be great if the Add to Wanted List dialog did not
close automatically. In order to be able to do both, a checkbox could be installed,
which prevents this and, when selected, displays a button to close. Standard
should remain the current state.

If there is another way to add all known color variations to the WL, the suggestion
is of course obsolete and I ask for help.

Best regards
Martin

Hi there,

I do not seem to find a solution for downloading the release date of the LEGO
parts. I am able to download most of the information I need but I cannot figure
out how "year released" info can be downloaded. Looked up in forum discussions
as well, no luck.

If there is already a solution for this, please let me know and discard my suggestion.
Otherwise other users might also find this option useful, not only me.

Thanks,
bb.

For a long time, there has been a lot of new buyers with (0) feedbacks ordering
from my store but ended up not paying, which I have to manually cancel the order
after a few weeks or so. Sometimes Bricklink charges me service fee across the
month for these orders that are not paid and not shipped, which I have to wait
for a refund the next month after the order is cancelled, resulting in me paying
for things upfront without the necessity of it.

I am getting frustrated about new users making orders but not paying. It is a
burden for me (spending time calculating shipping cost and handling fee, sending
invoice, being billed by Bricklink) ending up to no avail. Sure, I could leave
a negative review on these buyers, I could ban them one by one... but what's
the point when they can easily make another fresh account and do the same thing
over and over again.

To deal with this, I have 3 suggestions:

1. I vaguely remember there was an option to disallow buyers below certain points
to buy from my own stop... it was probably Yahoo auction or somewhere else I
don't really remember... But I think this should be an option for sellers.

2. Perhaps the system has to make it even more clear that one legally HAS to
pay after clicking Order. Because apparently, people don't read anymore,
even warnings.

3. Charge sellers after the order has been paid, not when they are made. Imagine
if someone made a fresh spam account, orders EVERYTHING from my store but not
paying for weeks. I will end up with getting charged by Bricklink, and my sales
hindered because they are off the shelves. And said buyer will suffer from little
or no consequences whatsoever.

I hope changes will be made to secure sellers from such unfair treatment.

Hello

I have just had an order for bionicle parts and even before picking I knew that
there was an issue with the packing/postal type chosen by instant checkout.

I have had some issues with instant checkout using a weight band lower than what
I needed to post out but I can accept that I might have used more packing than
needed and take the small hit on profits.

BUT when the package should have been a parcel not a large letter then it starts
to be a problem.

at least 2 parts of the order are borderline large-letter. But 1 part could not
fit into a large letter. So the order is going as a parcel and its a larger hit
on any profits. I am not about to ask my customer to pay more.

My suggestion would be that if a part has a ? against size or weight then it
should not be able to be able to be processed as instant checkout and an invoice
should be requested.
( I have places an amendment for the part size to be approved)

Regards
David

P.s I love instant checkout so this is not a knock on the system as a whole.

Is there already a way to have different store minimum for my own country and
the others country ?
If not, are some interested to see it implemented ?

For example, I have a store minimum of about 20 USD, but I would prefer to have
15 or 10 for my country and 30 for the other countries.

I have got more work to ship in other countries (customs declaration and packing)
and I like my customers to have a good balance between shipping costs and order
value.

While recently working on a model in stud.io I started using multiple viewports
but was disappointed to find that they are not in a detachable window for multiscreen
desktops. I can only hope this functionality can be added to a future update.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Some sets have more than one book of instructions. I want to part out only a
part of a set and doing this manually is a royal pain. So instead, what if we
could part out only a specific instruction booklet from a set the features multiples?

Hi,

I would like to propose the idea to add the subnavigation to the homepage.
Alot of the times i want to look up the priceguide for a set and it always takes
some extra clicks.

Would it be possible to include a section on a rejected Catalog Submission (similar
to the 'Note for Catalog Administrator' section) that explains the reason
that a certain change was rejected?
I ask, because I have noticed that some submissions have been rejected, only
to be approved after I changed the format slightly. Other changes have been rejected,
but accepted when I have resubmitted them.
Having feedback on rejected Catalog Submissions will prevent confusion over the
reason for the rejection, and will help others to improve their Submissions.

For the benefit of those of us with less accurate clicking skills, I would like
the buttons "order" & "cancel" on the quotes page stacked side by side (horizontally)
rather than sitting vertically on top of each other. There seems to be plenty
of space free on the page, & this would make inadvertently clicking the wrong
button less likely.

I think it would be helpful to have a flag of the sellers country next to the
username on the Marketplace sales forum. It would save those of us that don't
want to buy from overseas having to open every sales post to see where the seller
is located.

Hello BrickLink,

I like to have a feature to archive my completed (100%) wanted lists.
I think it is helpfull to clear op the total list, but even to backup them.

Is it possible to add it?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Kind regards,

In the description it shows "Item No" but the detailed "Part Color Code" isn't
shown (even though the color swatch and description are shown).

Customizeable columns in the Wanted List view would be awesome. To select what
detail, how many columns, how it's sorted would make this tool really flexible.

When adding an item to my wanted list, I typically want it in 5 colors. As it
is, I have to add the item in each color or select 'no-applicable' which
means when I check a store I get a rainbow of the item which slows my search.

When I add an item it should just let me select boxes for the desired colors.

Hello All,

I wonder why I can't set a filter on QTY for the Price Guide. I wonder how
relevant is that when I seek for 200 bricks (3001 black) that there is someone
who is selling 1 piece for HUF 9.69 when I actually can only buy from the guy
sells for HUF 43.74 due to lot size.

Not to mention the shipping costs...

Cheers:

Please consider the following:

1. Add colour as an option
2. When using the 'by category filter@ please show sub-totals by category

It would also be a good idea to incorporate the ability to update selected inventory
items into a superlot.

In addition, whilst you can use external tools to work on pricing it would be
far better if that type of tool existed on the MY Inventory page.

We are aware there has been discussion over sellers tools since 2013, and these
things may or may not be in those new tools, however it is now 5 years since
that discussion began and to date, I am not sure anyone is aware of what may
or may not be coming.

We are led to believe that Admin_Jaclyn is project managing the sellers tools
- Could we have an indication as to what is being considered, please?
