Please make changes to the following inventory:

Minifig No: col271 Name: Collectible Minifigure
*
col271 Collectible Minifigure
Minifigures: Collectible Minifigures
Marked for Deletion

* Delete 1 Part 973px126c01 White Torso Paradisa Windsurf Board with Sunset Pattern / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands
* Add 1 Part 973px126newc01 White Torso Paradisa Windsurf Board with Sunset Pattern, Inside with Ribs (Reissue) / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands

May I ask what the difference is on this 'Inside with ribs' torsos compared
to the same torsos that are 10 years old?

It ain't clear on the images (no comparison image between 'old' version
and 're-issue':

Part No: 973px126newc01 Name: Torso Paradisa Sailboat with Sunset Pattern, Inside with Ribs (Reissue) / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands

Some things I have to do, they interfere with what I am doing.

I'm not sure what you have to do and what you're doing, but at least
when you need 'help' to go to the 'top' it just a quarter of
an inch away from eachother

I have to scroll down to get them out of the way.

I'm 'off' as my imagination is getting out of control...

Just what is EDT?

Please use GMT - that is understood worldwide.

WBR
Sonnich

Should be EST, daylight savings time hasn't started yet. And using GMT isn't
going to work with everyone, not everyone knows where they live in relation to
GMT. EST is -5 hours for example.

So us, 'CET' guys are therefor 'forced' to remember that EST
is -5 compared to GMT and since CET is currently at +1 GMT we need to add that
up to know that the difference is 6 Hours between EST and CET
Me thinks your explanation makes no sence whatsoever, particulary as there are
more BL users 'outside' the EST zone then BL members living 'in'
the EST zone
It's just an outdated feature, most sites run in each 'propper' timezone...

people who naively jump at the chance to send unsecured payments to strangers
who have listed items online at too-good-to-be-true prices.

Quite right: too many people are just naive in those regards...
I recently got a mail that I considered 'strange', after reading about
10 words I dropped it in the trash can.
2 days later the receivers have been notified it was a 'test' and the
results where this:
Out of near 6000 receivers, 668 people (so over 10%) tought they could actually
'cash in' a bit of money for free by replying to the mail, about 2% actually
even provided 'personal details' in the reply.
Crazy...
Compare this to a website like BL with 613000 registered users, and you have
12260 users who might actually fall for such crap. Even if the amount of 'active
users' is only 20% of the registered members (so 122600) there is still a
potential of 2450 members who'd jump right in on offers that are 'too
good to be true'.

I disagree. Sellers only need concern themselves with their country's export
laws, not the import laws of every country they ship to.

Reasonably sure that's not true.

Correct, sellers do need to know 'some' stuff about the country they
are 'exporting' to, as of certain thresholds (mainly over 15~18000 Euro),
they might need to 'register' in the 'receiving' country to avoid
'issues'. But the chances anyone here is exporting more then 15~18000
Euro (per year) to 1 country is quite slim...
Besides that one needs to know what is allowed and what not (not just talking
about palstic toys here), and how it needs to be presented... (return label on
front or back, CN22/CN23, invoices/billings needed above 800 Euro, pro-forma
bills, etc, etc)
Limiting oneself to 'I only need to know what my country expects/allows'
is not good enough.
So it's handy to have a forum, quite a good place to pick up some details
from other countries once in a while

Nice little cash cow postal services have there…

The 'cash cow' ain't the postal services, it's 'customs'aka
governments), the postal services just run (aka advance it) on behalf on the
person they have to deliver it to, so yes you pay the 'postal service'
as they deliver it, but they already paid it to 'customs'.
In Belgium, Bpost even sometimes charges a cost (depending on the 'advanced'
amount) for doing the 'advanced' payment to the customs department...
Add the VAT, add handling, add 'duty' and it can be a 'killer'...
And it's no longer a 'slight chance', it's quite 'systematic'
in the whole of the EU these days, they know the have a 'cash cow' so
they are willing to pay extra personal on it

They could have a line on their terms or splash page that states...

Most countries do not charge duty on toys. This includes Canada, the US, the
United Kingdom, France, Germany, Greece, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland,
Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal,
Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Botswana and many more.

Now where on earth did you read all those EU countries do not charge duty (or
import taxes, or VAT or whatever you wanna call it)on toys
All the EU countries you state *can* charge 'import taxes' and as a matter
off fact they frequently do, the threshold for free import troughout the EU is
22 Euro, every order above that value is subject for 'import costs and/or
VAT' depending on value and content (and always a 'handling' cost
on top *if* they process the shipment).

We used to have just 1 or 2 or 3 'payment methods' but as time goes by,
new payment methods are added to the site and one can only suspect this might
even grow in time.

Yet our 'invoice' template remains quantity '1'.
Now every 'payment method' has it's characteristics, and this implicates
that the 'template data' (whatever it contains) must be 'altered'
when sending an invoice.
Obviously the details in the invoice will differ when the payment method changes:
Paypal (manual and/or a link), paypal onsite (Pay button), IBAN (Iban/Bic details),
Stripe (PAY link), Cash(no COD): Provide cash on pickup, Money order: Please
to...

Basicly, sellers need to keep their 'head' together when sending an invoice...
and even if they have a 'template' containing all options, they still
need to remove/add lines to make it clear for buyers 'what' they need
to do.

The easiest solution: A template for each 'payment method'. It's
2017, where getting closer to 2020, time to evolve and time to add some features
that are 'usefull' IMHO

Thanks for reading
And pleas vote 'YES' (even if you don't need it right now)

Cheers, Eric

PS In todays I-net, not 'evolving' means moving 'backwards',
as the competition doesn't sit around doing 'nothing'.

Why couldn't Brick Link let negative/Complaint or neutral feed back start
to drop off after so many years and or each year. Everyone knows we get unfounded
feed back especially from new buyers.

NO...
Old feedbacks, including negatives and neutrals, can give you an idea on who
your dealing with and tell buyers whether there is 'pattern' when something
goes wrong.
If BL would purge those negatives and neutrals, then they would need to do that
for all sellers, do you really want that ? (showing 1 example in the screenshot
below, I could give a couple of dozens like that)?

You seem to be bothered by the few negatives you carry? Why? You've had near
4000 transactions, with 3 negatives, that's less then 1 per 1300 transactions,
neglectible
And I doubt buyers will hold it against you when they need to determine whether
or not they wanna buy from you...
